Good for building a brand
UV gives me a place to test what my audience responds to before making it public. That has helped me shape my content and understand what people actually want from me.
Scam land
Don’t tell u until after u pay monthly subscription that u Only access is on the app and U have to then pay for each picture/video on creator’s page so essentially the $10 initial subscription price is just u giving away free money and getting to see nothing unless u pay for each individual post. Trash. I should’ve read the reviews. I hate the way these apps allow “content creators” to scam people that legitimately want to support, we just don’t like being scammed
Good App
The only qualm I have is the “mandatory push notifications” that’s a little excessive and annoying.
Very confusing
As a software developer, this app was painful to log in and to use. Too many steps, re-auth flows, etc. Profile picture required on first login, AFTER the user has already paid?! Screenshotted the error message I saw for that ridiculousness, and the app scolded me about screenshots - on my own user profile screen. Then I finally got to the actual app (not the onboarding) and was completely confused as to what I was looking at. A profile tab (with one post - despite the web site showing 5 apparent blurred posts on this profile), a people tab (I guess? Same single post), and a DMs tab.
Better conversations here
The biggest difference is how people talk. It is not just likes or quick comments. The messages feel more thoughtful, which makes the whole experience better.
Terrible
Awful UX/UI - lack of functionality shady practices, submitted FTC and or CFPB complaint.

Won’t open links from other apps. When opening it says, ‘Go to Home Screen’ but won’t open the profile
Setup was painless
I was expecting some clunky onboarding process, but it was pretty simple. I got in, understood the layout, and started using it without needing help.

Why can't I access my subscription on my lap top??? Videos on the phone are way to small! The website directs me to the creator registration website, not the customer one. When I go straight to the creator link, I log in but the website asks me to subscribe even though I have a current subscription.
Making money on the go
I travel a lot and take so many photos while I'm out and about, UV makes it so easy to share and monetize them while I'm on the go :)

Nice for loyal fans
I like that UV gives fans a place to support someone without the mess of public comments. It feels more respectful and focused on the creator.
Customer is bad
I was being charged double, triple for a subscription. I tired multiple times to get it fixed with customer service and just went in circles, with weeks without replying and not resolution. Ultimately had to replace my whole card. Waste of time and app

I joined for the extra content but ended up loving the chats the most. It feels so personal when they actually respond.

Locked out of posts
Posts that require another payment to access, after subbing, become locked again after your subscription runs out.
Feels like a fan club done right
It’s not just fluff—I’m getting actual value here. New pics, unreleased content, and real interaction. Love it.
Recurring income feels huge
As a creator, having subscribers renew instead of starting from zero every month changes the way I think about content. It makes the business side feel less random.
Shady and underhanded
The people on this app are manipulative and impersonate their creators to generate sales. They knowingly lie and mislead people. They resell the same images over and over at higher prices lying about the content. When you ask for a refund they give a generic response. They also overcharge or will charge the same fees multiple times. They charged me the monthly rate 4 times in January on back to back dates.
made my coaching way simpler
I’m a personal trainer and used to manage check-ins across texts and DMs which was messy. Now everything lives here, progress pics, feedback, updates. Way easier to stay organized and clients are more consistent.
Scam and broken
This app is a scam. They allow you to sign up for a subscription through 3rd party websites/links but to view any content you must download the app. The app doesn’t work though, it never loads (iPhone 15 iOS 27) so you can’t do anything you paid for. You can’t cancel subscription though because you can only do that in app which won’t load and crashes.
Actually useful creator tools
A lot of platforms say they are built for creators, but UV feels more practical. The tools are focused on earning, talking to members, and keeping the experience simple.
Prettty bad so far
App won’t let me make withdrawals And I contacted the help line and yet ima yet to have a update overall poor customer services and support. I have yet to get a update on the problems solution still just overall a headache to deal with having lot as of money there with no access I feel scammed pls fix it
Premium without being complicated
The app feels polished but not intimidating. I can post, check messages, and see what is happening without digging through a million settings.
No Real Benefit
App is clunky to use. Log in process takes several steps and creators on the app are very misleading and it can be hard to communicate and figure out messages when you’re subscribed to different creators. A lot of creators are just one here for cash grabs but don’t ever really offer anything.
The community feels real
Members recognize each other, creators reply, and the whole thing feels less anonymous than a normal social feed. That is what makes it feel different.
Garbage Application
Requiring notifications to be turned on for the app to even work is stupid.
