Frustrating
Verifications when transactions are made never happens. It’s very frustrating this app. My CalBank app is fast and swift, you get messages both email and sms to verify transactions. But GCB the codes don’t come, if it will come to 15 minutes later when it expires in 5 minutes. So bad

Early Loan Repayment Option on GCB Mobile App
Hello GCB Team, I’ve been using the GCB Mobile App for a while and it’s been very convenient for cashless payments. My suggestion is for the loan section for salary workers. Please add an option to repay loans before the due date. This would help users with extra cash to clear debts early and avoid late payment issues. Thank you for your consideration.

I don’t see why I have to take a picture and receive an otp anytime I have to login to my account. Everything was fine at first.

Your standing order feature bugs up whenever you hit the frequency tab ever time the app crushes check that out , and yes you are a government institution but efforts to level up to the standard and even beyond that of private companies is important you survive cos we trust you it’s about time you think about tour customer service too both in office and app development

CARD TO BAN TRANSFER ISSUE
Card to bank transfer is not working in your most recent update. I could move money from my wallet to bank for a while but this was fixed. In general a great banking app

On certain days this app is just a pain to use. Especially on days you’re counting on it the most. GCB customer service is worse than the app.

I updated my GCB mobile app and since then I haven’t received any notification about my transactions I have made to my Visa card.

Freezing issues
App is so horrible it can freeze for days and sometimes you may have to uninstall and download again before you can use it. Developer needs to pay back for such poor work for such a big company. Total IT disgrace in such an AI era. Thank you.

I tried registering my account several times and is not working kindly fix it
Good for payment and keeping money
But the only thing needed for GCB users is offline use If one does not have mobile data that means they can get access to their account and that’s painful and it will be useful if changed and I won’t lie about that pls can you change it just so we all can improve in using GCB app for banking If that is fixed i promise you that I’ll add the 2 more stars
Deposit issue
Ever since I started using this bank account alway having issues with deposit from mobile to account last time I tried sending money to my account, I sent 500 first it didn’t then I sent 100 again , for a whole day it didn’t reflect I called them and WhatsApp them but they didn’t respond their customers service very poor I was then for two days contract them again no reply, later got a message of 500 deposit to my account but never received the 100 I sent the second time up to now , please work on your system well not just the app and graphics

I just downloaded the app and I’m trying to register but nothing seems to be working. I’ve got to the point immediately after taking the selfie where I’ve been asked to review my details below but the sad thing is there’s nothing there to be reviewed and whenever I click next, the response is invalid account number whilst there’s no medium provided for me to give my account number or even the mobile number or email…smh… too much drama
NEW UPDATE ISSUES
I am not happy with the new update GCB. Unless one has a SIM/ESIM before using the app is not necessary. You have password, biometric and even Face ID recognition which is far better. What about those who use devices which does not support physical SIM or even their device network is blocked and their only hope is using WIFI? It’s not necessary GCB. Please remove that.

I’m trying to create an account but I cannot proceed because I don’t have access to my Ghana number. It’d be awesome to allow verification via email for people outside of the jurisdiction. Hopefully this works soon.

I tried to transfer 400Gh from mobile money to my account by using the app but unfortunately the amount was deducted from my account but I didn’t receive any payment at all, And I tried to complain to the customer support team on WhatsApp, instagram, facebook and I also tried their toll free number but they can’t help me to get my money back 😢 So all my advice is that, when you see or done any mistake about your money just move on because you can’t get it back 👎
