Best app for IPTV
This is the best app I’ve used. So nice and smooth. Highly recommend
Too inconsistent on Apple TV
I wanted to like UHF because it has a lot of useful features, but the Apple TV experience has been disappointing. Channels sometimes buffer, freeze or fail to open, even when the same playlist works normally in another player. The EPG can also be unreliable, and the TV guide navigation feels quite basic. It’s not terrible, but it needs better stability before I could recommend it.
Missing One Feature
I love the app for my Apple TV and for my phone. The only thing missing from the Mac version is PIP. UHF really needs to add that feature to be able to see what’s on TV no matter what app I have open my Mac.
Great but
When I first got the app I was impressed with it. However, lately not so much. Twice I sent an email to their support and never got a response about my issue… all I got back was a copy of the email that I sent them. You can have the best app, but it means nothing if you don’t support your own app. It’s like buying a new car but you can’t get it repaired when it breaks down. Frustrating to say the least.
Frequent Audio Cutouts
AppleTV 4K. Since updating to version 1.100.0, audio drops out at irregular intervals—ranging from 5 seconds to several minutes. This occurs across all types of streams, including various live TV streams as well as movies and series. Switching from the native to an external player (or vice versa) does not improve the situation. Pausing the stream briefly temporarily restores the audio, but the interruptions soon become more frequent. It is very frustrating as it completely disrupts the viewing experience. The issue still persists in version 1.101.0.
Manna From Heaven
Without this app, I wouldn’t have been able to watch all the World Cup games. I use it every day and highly recommend it.
Lost its focus as an IPTV player
Unfortunately, UHF has been losing its focus for quite some time. Instead of improving the core IPTV viewing experience and fixing the existing issues, the app removed VLC, which was one of its best and most reliable player options. It has since continued adding more VPN providers and external integrations, including Stremio, while the overall watching experience still does not feel properly refined. UHF previously recommended AngelVPN, which is why I personally switched to it. That setup was working well, but now the app has opened its VPN integration to several other providers, creating more complexity and introducing further issues rather than simply improving what already worked. There are still problems with the newer VPN integrations, and the core IPTV experience remains below expectations. UHF is supposed to be an IPTV player, not a VPN marketplace or a media centre filled with external integrations like streamio. In my opinion, the app has lost sight of what made it good in the first place.
Nice and Great
Great software for IPTV. My only report right now is that the MultiView feature needs to be better. I’m a TiviMate user and their MultiView feature don’t buffer. This MultiView buffer a lot unfortunately. 4 screens and 3 lags. 2 screen is good!
The nagging must stop
I understand that app developers need to make a living, and UHF has reasonable pricing. But what's NOT reasonable is having the subscription nag popping up at literally every action I do: changing channels, POP subscription nag!, browsing the guide, POP subscription nag!, opening settings, POP subscription nag!, literally every action triggers the subscription pop-up window. I'm not sure if it's a bug (it certainly wasn't like that before; the nag would pop a couple times only) or if it's working as intended, but personally the nagging has turned me off the app completely. The UI is also getting more and more confusing with each new release, so it's time to move on.
Good. Could be better
Better IPTV than most. Would be great to be able to manually sort channels in guide instead of by relevance or most watched only. Would also like to have a rewind buffer for live TV.
Fix online subtitle with Jellyfin
In Jellyfin while playing video click subtitle > open subtitle > choose language will open video source same list of “Jellyfin’s server source” not real subtitle list

As they keep updating this app it will definitely be the best one to use, some small thing’s I would like to see is quicker access to the back button or maybe a keyboard shortcut to go back.

The interface initially looks promising visually but when interacting it is a mess - everything involves more steps than is needed or does not work. UHF is the worst iptv app i’ve ever used in terms of frustration. There’s been little care invested in UX, even though the UI looks promising. - Poor onboarding with little feedback if it’s working. - The scrollbar during playback is too close to the bottom so iPad multitasking is invoked instead. - When touching the screen during playback to show the overlayed options, it does not give enough time to see the options - they’re automatically gone in a second. - The search feature doesn’t seem very robust - often struggle to find content i know exists. - Often takes multiple touches (eg: drop-down list > “playlists” > provider > category) to get to the category list, and when returning to the list i must scroll from the very top again, every time. - Scrolling the tv guide often takes me out of the tv guide if there is nothing more to show - please just keep me in the tv guide unless i explicitly navigate elsewhere - even worst, it often navigates elsewhere even if there IS more content to scroll to - the scrolling needs a fundamental overhaul so it takes into consideration all visible rows instead of just the row you happen to touch - this is how every other tv guide works - let me scroll the guide as a whole page instead of scrolling an individual row. Or to put this another way, if the row i scroll comes to an end but another visible row has more to show, keep scrolling instead of taking me out of the whole freaken tv guide. - If i select a previously aired show and its unable to use catchup, just tell me instead of offering the option but then defaulting to live. - When using catchup there is no way to skip forwards by a few seconds. There is just the scrollbar and even that does not work. This alone makes the app unusable for me because i can’t skip adverts when using catchup. The rewind/forward by a few seconds seems to work on live, but not catchup. - When an error or warning dialog is shown, just give me the details concisely instead of making me read through the developer’s attempt at humour. But it doesn’t help that I’m frustrated by that point and not in the mood for wit. The only positive thing i can say is the app populates the channels list OK and plays a channel OK. So it technically works. And it looks OK. Tested on iPad Pro 11 inch with M1 and 16gb RAM on latest OS public version, 26.5.2. I also tried the paid app subscription but that solved nothing. Also waited for an app update too but solved nothing.
Never syncs properly
Syncing across your devices iPhone, Apple TV and Mac is a disaster, there is always a problem or the devices takes an old backup ignoring the new backups. But good UI
The best
Tried many and they have all fallen short. This has been the most solid and easy to use. Beautiful and easy to navigate user interface. I recommend it to all my friends.
No longer working on iPad.
No other devices using my connection, connection details work fine on Tivimate , it downloads the playlist fine but no longer plays anything. Have uninstalled, removed all data, rebooted. Been consistently unreliable all the time I've had it to be honest so moving to something else before my subscription ends. All other apps I've tried in trial mode work.
Great- sports mode?
It is a great app that lets you download episodes of series and movies. It would had been perfect if you could see the games that are on the channels in a specific tab( for example- go the sport section and see that one team is playing against another team in all these channels) that would make it perfect!
Upsell city
It's one thing to have a pop up ad now and then. But literally every channel you use there's a 10 second unskippable ad. Terrible.

Waiting for EPG updates
Be great to set those updates as a cron job or background task. I don’t see a setting for that. Every time I open the app, I have to wait 5 minutes while the data from the server updates. A bit frustrating

Best app of all time
Only plays screen in screen.
Granted I’m using an older iOS version and I’d be happy to pay for the app if I could get a full screen image on my iPad. Unfortunately it on works in Picture in Picture mode. Also the help discord link is out of date.
Great, needs a few tweaks
This is a great app, has a vpn component as well, but could do with a few additions. Larger logos for channels, currently they are a bit small to read. Move to top and move to bottom when organising channels. Add/amend small icons to custom categories. Easy access to refresh contents, or option to refresh in background when opening app. Unraid docker for dvr recording.

Sounds to me like “we don’t support EPG issues.” So, thus my comment about “No support from the developer”. Your own words seem to spell that out quite explicitly. Why would I have wasted my time sending an email about that issue if you already tell me you won’t bother replying? If you normally support that type of inquiry, as your reply to my earlier review seems to indicate, then maybe consider changing your messaging. As for your EPG explanation. Thanks. Much appreciated. I didm’t know that. I’m not an app developer or expert, which is why I was seeking support. In fact, it’s why most consumers seek support. They’re not experts. You are. By the way, it is a very good app. Best one out there.
Great But….
Its hand down the best for Apple products, there is a problem with the BACK BUTTON, it is impossible to actually return to the menu, I’m closing the app to just get back to the start screen. Im using it on a MacBook, its really hit and miss, either you click back 10 second most of the time, or occasionally it will actually go back, please refine, or make it more clickable. Its the only serious flaw to a near perfect app!

PiP doesn’t work, the stream freezes when you leave the app and return - I don’t get the hype around this app.
Amazing App Overall — I would suggest few additions
UHF is absolutely an awesome app when it comes to IPTV on apple TV and I highly recommend it. I have a few suggestions though: - adding is skip intro when available as I haven’t seen it here while it’s available on other app (as well as watch next episode) - showing the episode name when watching a series - the ability to manage icloud backups - correctly tracking the watched episodes

Great app with lots of potential, but the price increases I’ve seen are too much imo.
EPG syncing not working
Have been using UHF for over a year, resigned up to the life time membership, good app for Apple Eco system, except for the EPG syncing issue? Always fails, on start up, use the same credentials for other IPTV apps and have no trouble at all with EPG syncing, not sure what’s up? Keep up the good work :)

Why do I have to restart the app to reconnect AirPlay after every episode?
Overpriced
Subscribed at £0.99 and after a few months they put up the price at £1.99 without warning. There better apps out there for that price. I would subscribe for £0.99 but not £1.99. App does the job and thats it

Awful
Constantly screen goes black after short period on all players available,I have alternative players too test and work fine so it’s 100% not streaming links,ui is good but streaming is very poor unfortunately. Great design but lacks streaming power. Overall 1 out 5
Best so far
Nice layout. It’s stable, except dvr does not record completely occasionally. I liked how easy it was to install dvr on raspberry pi 4 using docker wrap. Wish you could pick how often epg is updated instead of just having auto refresh on or off. Wish it utilized hard drive space on dvr to record live tv so you could rewind live tv. Wish guide did not cover current program as you scroll to check other channels.

I use this app on appleTV and iPad and it is fantastic. Unfortunately is not on the Mac. Constantly freezing and needs restarting. Sort it out please

Renewal price doubled
After my first 12 months of use, the developer chose to double the annual subscription price. What’s most disappointing is not just the increase itself, but the complete lack of recognition for existing customers. Loyalty clearly counts for nothing here. When I raised my concerns, the response from the developer was petulant and dismissive—an unfortunate but revealing insight into their attitude and lack of professionalism. In hindsight, this price hike turned out to be a blessing. It prompted me to explore alternatives, and I quickly discovered numerous competing apps that are far superior: more polished, genuinely professional, significantly smoother in operation, and far less buggy. My recommendation is simple—shop around. There are plenty of better options available, and you will not regret moving on.

Still needs a lot of polishing. Subtitles are a mess.
Quite buggy. Advanced Player has the best video quality but doesnt support CC. VLCkit has CC covering half of the screen and you cant change it. Font resizing available only on Advanced Player it states, but it doesnt even support subtitles!
Downloads are temperamental
Sometimes downloads process, other times they just reset. Does anyone have any tips to get it to work every time? Do I have to leave the app open?
