What people like
- Strict mode stops you from cheating
- One time purchase for Pro version
- Really helps reduce phone addiction
- Great value for the price
What they complain about
- Support never responds to emails
- Fails to block specific apps
- Glitches when creating new blocks
- Uninstalling app removes all blocks
Best time blocker app on the iOS bar none.
This is what software was made for, it just works. No gimmicks or accounts, and much more customization than others. A one time purchase for pro is another huge plus. Thank you for creating this.
Needs Update
Cannot create any schemas, very disappointing
Reduced my screen time
I love the app but there’s a glitch in the app. If I upgrade my phone or sometime restart during any strict schedule. The strict schedule keeps on even after the scheduled time. I manually have to go through the steps to come out of strict mode.
Please add the Focus API it is much quicker than setting up an automation.

This is amazing
This is a great app ive been using it for a week and my screen time improved
Changed My Life
More productive than ever. Made me realize how much time I waste. It’s okay to have fun, to slow down, and to have patience with my goals, but I have to keep trying because life is short. Thank you, Burnout Buddy.
Buggy
Consistently has function limiting bugs that prevent app from working at all.
It’s strict, and I love it.
The hurdle of wanting to cancel a time out or block is so amazing and kinda forces you to not want to anymore. Update: a good feature would be minimizing how many time you can open an app. Because I open Chatgpt a lot although my time is not as much like 10 minutes but i be opening for random stuff.
Ok
Unfortunately doesn’t look like you can block specific apps. Only app categories, if you try to do individual apps it won’t block them unless the whole app category is selected.
Work pretty well but no support
I’m using the full version, the app is quite complete and you’re free to configure a lot of options. Big regret : don’t work with Firefox anymore. I sent an email to the developer, but no answer.
So far so good!
I like the “strict” mode—makes you really think about why you’re unlocking the app, and I guess that’s all I needed. Impressed by this app!
Owner not responding, not getting the service I paid for!
Don’t spend your money on this app. I’ve had numerous issues where it fails to block my selected apps unless I block an entire category. If you want to block only specific apps, this app is not for you; it only works well if you intend to block all your apps. While Strict Mode is decent, the app’s main purpose—to block apps and websites—falls short. I’ve reached out to the support team multiple times but received no response, despite being polite and detailed in my explanations. I initially purchased this app to support a service that offers free usage with few restrictions, which I appreciated. However, the app simply doesn’t work as advertised. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue and get what I paid for, I’ve had no success in getting a response from the owner.
Can’t find how to customise Strict mode
How do you customise strict mode?
Apple holds this app back
Pretty much a great app but I cannot choose all apps and websites to block without the app selection page crashing. Choosing certain apps will make any further process impossible. Have the same problem with multiple phones. Seems to be a bug on apples site, but doesn’t really help me.
Great app
Great app, very intuitive and blocks stuff when I need it to. Request - is there a way to get both schedule and total amount of time? Like a different amount of time for morning or afternoon
Doesn’t Work
Never actually blocks the apps I tell it too.
Strict mode ain’t strict enough
One should have to take slightly more time to get through the boring task before changing a schema.
Some bugs lately
The app worked perfectly when I first installed it but it doesn’t anymore and there are a few bugs.
Changed my life
This app has literally changed my life. I’ve saved so many hours of my life now that every social media platform is garbage because everything is all reels now. Thank you!!!
Waste of money
I have purchased pro version. Everything opens as usual. This app can't stop any app or website from opening.
Amazing App But…
The app is great but it’s often times glitchy when I try to create a new schema it glitches out and exits and doesn’t work if I try selecting multiple apps. Otherwise the app is perfect.
Best Screen Time Blocker By Far
Over the years I’ve tried countless different app/website blockers that were all way too easy to bypass. With the Pro features on this app (customized strict mode tasks, and no app deletion mode) you can make it extremely difficult to get to the apps or websites you don’t wanna be on which has fully kept me from wasting countless hours on social media. Only thing I could ask for is a MacBook version so I can use this app there.
Very confusing
I cannot for the life of me work out how to use this app. It looks really good but is so complicated. I’m planning to delete it as I just can’t use it.
Schémas not working
Hi there, I wasn’t having any problems with the app and I was actually quite impressed with how everything worked but then I had my YouTube set not to work at 9:00 and it was still working. Then I tried going back and turning the schéma on and off and nothing happened. But now it doesn’t wanna turn back on and I don’t know what to do. I’m not sure if it’s because I had YouTube turned on while the schéma activated but it would be kind of bad if it broke the system just to have a banned app or website open when the schéma starts. Overall I’m super happy with the app and I just hope my problem gets fixed so I can keep using it! Thank you
Love it
yes
Pointless
You can uninstall this app anytime and everything is unblocked immediately, defeating its purpose.
Great app- some bugs
The app worked smoothly for the first month of use but it will no longer block the games on my phone under any conditions. Please check out this bug. Other than this I am a huge fan of this app- it performs reliably and smoothly.
Saved me in my addiction
I don’t write reviews at ALL. I can’t remember the last time I wrote one at all.But this app paired with another app im using (Dumbify) has helped me and so many other people in their phone addiction . It is an addiction that is commonly looked passed upon and it has been haunting me all my life. I love this app so much I got the Pro version. I especially like the “Strict mode” as anyone who has tried apps like these know very well how often we may cheat an app like this by just changing the schemas. I am very grateful and can finally go back to being productive and working better as well as a happier life.
4/5
Very good! It would be great if you had a way to block websites and a restricted mode that would not unblock at all.
love this app
honestly i tell everyone about this app. its changed my life for the better!! i love that you can block with so many options.
Good app - not perfect
This app is the best value on the market. However there is still room for improvement in what I would consider basic features. 1. Trying a Siri-powered schema using a shortcut I continuously get the question “what’s the schema” and despite naming every schema I have it never enables one and just keeps asking me. 2. There is no schema that allows someone to block for a time-period (e.g. 30 minutes). I feel like this should be a basic feature.
Awesome App
Only used for 2 days and it’s working for someone who doesn’t have a ton of self control.
