Great way to play Euchre, my favorite card game. Sometimes I win, sometimes I don’t, just like a game with live people!
Seriously Flawed
I’ve played euchre for years, and after spending a lot of time with this app, the AI behavior becomes impossible to ignore. The computer opponents consistently make statistically improbable place, often seeming to know exactly what cards I’m holding. They routinely saved the perfect cards to euchre immune situations that simply do not feel realistic for random distribution. The biggest issue is the partner AI. My five star partner regularly calls Trump without even holding a Bauer and predictably gets us euchre. Even worse, it frequently goes alone with weak hands that have no business being played solo, throwing away opportunities for a higher scoring team hands. Meanwhile, the lower rated opponents consistently place smarter and more strategically than the supposed elite AI partner, even though they are lower star ratings. They also never get euchre. It appears that not only do they know what I’m holding, but they know what their partner has. I paid for the ad free version, hoping the gameplay would improve overtime, but it never did. The longer I played, the more obvious the flaws became. Unfortunately, I ended up deleting the app.
Join game
Why can’t I join games already in progress with real people? I could before November 20th. I have to wait for a new game and it’s always with the computer. Disappointed!!
ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO TELL WHO IS DEALING
I cannot believe that this has not been corrected. I have made 2 mistakes because of this and now I am going to delete this game and download a different one. To the person who wrote a review saying that it was not hard enough. If you go into options, you can control the speed and I also think you can control the difficulty.
Multiplayer uses AI
The game makes you think that you are playing real players. There is no indication when you are playing with bots. Well executed otherwise except for the lack of a chat feature

Table layout
I’d like to see a one color table to play on. Plain one color table/board would make it better.
What was I ordered to pick up?
I hate the fact that you can never tell which card you were ordered to pick up. If I have two Trump cards, I’d play the other to let my partner know I still have Trump. Plus this AI stinks despite being one of the better ones out there. It won’t lead Trump after making it and instead throws out an ace that gets trumped and it will hold the right bower to the very end and get set instead of drawing out Trump. I don’t think the developers have ever played this game.

Great structure. Too many ads, too long and too repetitive. Ads also glitch the game skipping plays and making trumps that you didn’t want!

Wrong in so many ways: 1. Very rudimentary 2. Very limited access to setup options 3. Links to Game Centre w/o permission 4. Wants to add from your contacts w/o permission 5. HUGE ad banner hides your partner and their relevant info 6. Challenging to actually see who the dealer is I could go on, but you get the point. How can people rate this game anything higher than 2* is beyond me?!
Fun game
This is a good app, wish it didn’t have so many ads. It would be even better. I think for any beginners, it would be helpful to show some description of the plays, trump, right, left…
Ridiculous programming but nice graphics
I’m not sure if the programmers have ever played euchre. Your partner will make the most ridiculous plays. And the opponents know exactly what to play and have every card they need. Don’t expect to ever go alone. They’ll stop you every time.
The new change in format makes me want to quit
I really do not like your new presentation when I want to start a game. In fact I hate it so much that I am considering deleting this game completely. Or at least I will play other games so much more. Why did you change the set up?

One of the better versions
I have tried many different versions of Euchre and this one seems the most even-handed… I didn’t feel like the game predetermines winners. In some other versions, the computer team will bid trump but their partner has all the winning cards. Or dealing seems uneven. My biggest criticism would be no option to ‘Go Under’ and swap out three cards if you ONLY have 9s, 10s, and Qs.
Users partner throws game
Play is set upon most difficult setting. Users partner will make bids when has no bowers for trump, etc. Gets set. Never happens with computer opponents. User’s partner will trump partner’s own ace for no reason. Users partner will allow a trick to be taken by opponents even when has a higher trump bower. Keeps team from getting all trumps. This never happens with computers opponents. So game is rigged by giving the user an unskilled partner, that does not even make sensible plays at times. I like the game but because of unfair computer schemings, I give it 2 stars.

When you keep playing the game I notice a pattern after you have been playing for a long period of time
I had to delete it
I got tired of there not being a clear marker for the dealer. I waited for them to improve this, but they don’t seem to be interested in doing it so I’m going to find another euchre game to play. Very frustrating when you pass cause you don’t realize it’s your deal.

I’ve been playing euchre for 50 years. This one plays better than others. It’s even sharpened my game. I got frustrated with my “partner” until I realize the different partner options made a difference. I really joy this app!
WAS a good game before the last update
Now the ad banner at the top is so much larger than before that it covers your partners hand on the screen. It’s super distracting and really annoying. I’d pay money to get rid of the ads altogether. So dumb that you would change the screen layout. Buh-bye.

Major programming flaw..
The computer always plays an Ace first for the team that calls Trump, even when holding both bauers. That is NOT how the game is played in real life. Play both bauers in order and that makes the Ace almost invulnerable to being taken when played. As it strips Trump from the opponents hands.
No frills just cards love it
Hardly any ads can change types and difficulty as well as speed of other players and shuffling it’s not fancy but it’s great

It is very hard to know who’s the dealer. Other than that is is best one I have ever use used and it feels like I playing a real person. All other games stake the deck.
Best Euchre Game
I like this app because it seems to be truly random as far as dealing goes, which is hard to find in a Euchre app. My only complaint is the dealer marker is not shown when I’m dealing. I have to look closely to be sure whose dealing. I would also like a clear sign when someone passes instead of just a quick flash of light by the person who passes. I recommend this to anyone looking to improve their play.
Disappointing
Newer versions have added lengthy adds to the point of more ad time then game. The “aggressive” play feels a lot more like you’re playing against players that know what their partner has. Annoying now “go alone” question now pops up and can not be removed in options. Going to find a new app...

Game is great takes me back to Devonport Dockyard many years ago but the intrusive adds drive me nuts. Would rather of paid for it and been add free.
Euchre
I am very happy that my Dad taught me how to play euchre when I was not yet a teenager. He and I loved to play against my sister and her husband. Now she was very competitive and she would pout every time She and her husband got euchered. I totally love playing, and as I type this, I am rushing to go to the bar to join my fellow euchre players.
Terrible
Ads now cover the cards. Wanted to add a screenshot, but there is now a stagnant ad that cover your hand. Seriously? Game is now unplayable

Ordinary UI, no auto card sort
Very confusing to see who the dealer is, especially when you are the dealer. Doesn't sort you cards in the correct order for the bowers. Hard to see who called the trumps. Very ordinary user experience
Needs work
My main complaint is that it's very hard to tell, who the dealer is, who's turn it is, who called trump etc...... A less busy screen and some clear play indicators would really help.

Why does partner trump your ace instead of throwing off suit? Why does partner make trump and not lead the bowers, but leads an off suit ace, that almost always get trumped?

It’s very difficult to tell who has dealt, whose turn it is to make trump and when you have to start laying cards. Over all Not a good, I’ll be looking for a better euchre app
Dumb plays
Opposing players and partner make real stupid plays sometimes and they do it consistently. When they have made trump and need the last three tricks he’ll lead a low trump to draw out opposing trump and automatically get euchred. Often gives up tricks it doesn’t need to. Also the new update is a pain to set up, can’t seem to get my old settings back. Sometimes it won't tell you what's trump and sometimes it doesn't give you the option of going alone.
There are issues....UPDATE
I understand the need for ads but they block the play, trump is made and cards played before ad clears. Update: Partner continues to play trump on a trick already won by partner.....infuriating! Update: Partner has gone from not using trump to win a trick to wasting it by trumping his own partner. Partner makes stupid moves...will have both bowers and ace of trump and still does not go alone! Last card on trick and will throw off to lose trick even though he holds trump. Also, have seen opponents reneg on trump.
