From Lansing Michigan to Sarasota Florida
I use this weather app on my phone because it provides me the most accurate forecast and weather tracking of all the weather apps that they use for hurricanes down here in Florida. I ran hurricane response teams for 19 years. This app was by far, the best. Other teams that used different apps have now changed to the Weather 6 app. THANK YOU.
Skip this App
As usual, I come home from work-truck driver- it’s been a 16 hour day and I need to know tomorrows forecast. Silly me ! Not on this App! I can get the NOON forecast but not a recent - say 6:00 pm- forecast. This happens ALL the time on channel 6. Skip this! Anything is better! Remember the “Magic Eight Ball”? It’s better then this!
Update went backwards in usability.
This update seems to cause emergency alerts to be very slow to post to the top of the page, and also removed the extended info about them from the bottom of the screen (at least I haven’t found them). The ability to create a map with overlays is clumsy, and you have to specifically select it each time you open it (my experience). Interesting that two supposedly competing weather stations have the exact same app, just rebranded. Not liking the update.
Radar screaming fast- can’t tell what will happen!
Latest upgrade has no positive additions that I can find, and the radar trace is so fast it is unusable.
Was Better
The app was better before you changed the radar map.
Love options of daily-hourly-map
It’s nice to be able to check the daily forecast, see the hourly developments, and also check the map to guess at how long weather events will last and where storms are headed. Nice app!
You took away the dew point
This was a much wanted statistic. Now I have to go to the weather channel to get this valuable information. That age old saying of if it ain’t broke don’t fix it was clearly ignored with you new app
This helps plan things.
I love getting notifications of bad weather. I love being to check what’s coming when planning something.
Needs an IOS update Badly!

My favorite app
I check it multiple times a day. It’s very accurate and keeps informed.
Not as good as the old one
Whatever you updated, you’re pulling in too many graphics at the same time & now you have a lag, or it freezes. Wasn’t much of an update.
Stop the Adde
This was my go to app for weather. However, after the last app update, the adds play over the top of the weather video. You watch the add before the weather video starts. Then a minute in, the add started up again without pausing the video that’s playing so all you hear is noise. Way to go messing up a great app.
Michigan on Pennsylvania alerts
Frequently we get weather alerts for Michigan when in fact we live in Pennsylvania, not good
The ads are distracting
I like the app, apart from the ads that they stuck in the middle of the daily forecast tab.
Won’t even show critical warnings without an AD
One of the worst of the worst apps. Even for severe and dangerous weather events this app doesn’t show you a SINGLE meaningful alert without first shoving an unskippable 20 second AD down your throat. I haven’t ever come across such an offensive app. Shame on the app developers.
Uninformative
I liked the previous version MUCH more. No videos, just weather radar.
New version big disappointment
I upgraded to the latest version a few days ago. Big mistake! Layout changed greatly, mostly to put ads front and center. Yes, now several sub-screens have a blinking/ flashing 1/2” bar in the middle. Large button bar at the bottom, instead of smaller hamburger menu. Just wastes space on my already small Mini. A re-design for no good reason. Also, whenever I update the app it turns verbal warnings back on, also iOS pop-ups about trivial weather or “rainy weekend ahead”. Of course the verbal alerts only go off at 4AM. Really I was surprised how good the previous versions were! I would have gladly paid $5 to turn off ads. I would say they have paid paradise and up a parking lot here. The Apple weather app has been getting better, maybe one more version and it will be all I need.

Map not working
What happened. The map is not working. Which is what I count on during storms. Fix it please.
Minor fixes would make it much better
When trying to navigate, the app is not very responsive at all to touch. I have to hit whatever target I'm touching several times. Freezes up a lot on open. Also, EVERY time I open the app I see a "...push alerts can be customized in the settings..." notice that I have to close before using the app.
Could be better
I use to really like this app because it would alert me with a sound if we had storms on the way. Now that I have a iPhone 4s the sound alert doesn't exist. App DEFINATELY needs some updates - nothing has been done since 2013!!
Great app!
I love this app!! I love the fact that the radar map is actually pretty accurate. Only, for some reason, the map function seems to not be working now that I updated my phone to iOS 7. Is there a way to fix this? I really want to continue using this app as I really like it! It worked fine before I updated my phone, but now it glitches and the radar doesn't show up correctly.
Dueling forecasts
When I turn on the sound, I get the sound from 2 different videos. And when I click on the forecast for the night, I get the forecast for the previous morning.
Mixed review
Mainly downloaded for the maps because I like them so much on the wlns news app. But for some reason the maps on the two sites are two different animals. This one has past layers on it and if it does happen to refresh, any rain or storms shown are completely different from any other weather maps. I'll keep it around for a while to see if they fix it but will dump it soon if they don't.
The best I've seen
I've dl'ed and deleted dozens of weather apps because most of them are basic, the rest are useless. This one, aside from the ubiquitous ads, is absolutely the best. Our local station nailed it!

I do not see any! I thought this was a hurricane tracking app?!??!
Location
Keep getting forecast from an area nowhere near where I live. I continually change the location to my area, but keep getting alerts about an entirely different area.
Too many videos
Old videos play instead of new. Messy site.
