Radar is fast! **Updated: but that’s ok…
I’ve been using this app for many years and I really like it. I just came here to say I’m not a fan of some things with the latest upgrade, particularly the radar - it’s so fast I can’t hardly see what’s going on and I’m not fast enough to pause it at the most recent time. Can you slow it down a little? UPDATE: I figured out I can pause it and drag the timeline around, so I gave you 5 stars! Love it ❤️
Not accurate
Told me every other day I was getting “heavy thunderstorms”, for a week. Never got any rain at all during that time period.
Widgets
Would like to see widgets available. Also, pollen and air quality information would be great as well. Overall, pretty accurate so far.
Unreliable
I want to like this app, but the forecast video uploads are inconsistent. New clips from today’s newscast are not always posted on time, and videos from one or two days ago often remain in place instead. Today I opened the app to watch the current weather video, but as usual it was still showing the one from two days prior. Consistent daily uploads would make this feature reliable and worth using.
Ok
Well coming from a kids perspective I like to look at the weather to know what to wear and 7 times out of 10 it is correct but sometimes it is wrong and an accurate
Great help!
Helps us plan for what’s happening in our area & wherever we’re heading.
Finally a decent weather app, but…
Update: app is still terribly slow. The play buttons are way too small. To make things worse the weather predictions are worthless. This app is very well written and organized towards a users wants and needs. My only complaints: it is extremely slow to open and the flashing ad at the bottom resembling an alert is in very poor taste. Ads like this using trickery are very annoying and a waste of users time.
Showing rain
Often I can see the storms approaching my area but the last few times it has been just pouring rain on us and the map shows all clear
The new map is bad
Don’t care about 200 miles away
Map update not usable
This last map update is a real pain. I like the options but you took away the past running into the future option. Then fact that I have to toggled between past and future males the app cumbersome. I will just go use the wcmh app for maps...sad.
Outstanding Weather App!
This is the best weather app we have ever used. It is comprehensive yet simple and better than all the others. Love it!
Please acknowledge the Gulf of America
I like this app but getting political is just wrong for a weather station. I am uninstalling this app. Buh bye liberals
Live weather broadcast
Miss the taped live broadcasts that use to be on.
It’s OK
This app has the potential to be the best app ever. But since the new update, your alerts are mammal, and the overlays are extra steps and prompts to get to. Everything is labeled under one prompt so you have to click multiple to see one alert. It is not user-friendly anymore. I’ll 60% accurate especially 24 hours forecast. There are free apps out there however this is not bad itself, but they’re definitely it’s better
Latest Update
The latest update ruined the radar functionality of the app. It’s too fast and not up to the minute like it used to be.
Informative
I love being on alert with inclement weather. I’m always the one telling daily and friends to look out for inclement weather. And this app helps me do that in real time. I love it!!!
Incredible delays
12-24 hrs delays in seeing forecasts. What is going on? G
Great app
Love the fact that the weather follows me. No matter where I am traveling in the state it will notify me of weather warnings to keep me and my family safe. Also like that I can put in various locations and monitor their weather before we travel there and even keep an eye on my elderly mother’s weather in Cleveland to give her a heads up on storms etc since she can’t see too well to watch her local news/weather.
Dew point
Please show dew point. It was on earlier version!
Radar stop showing past
Not sure what happened to the app but Radar only shows Now to Future, no past. Can’t be changed. Tried to follow instructions but it doesn’t work. Please fix it! Also tried to get APP support but the link does nothing.
Information
I check weather almost every day….sometimes several times a day. . I get quick and accurate information immediately. Thanks !
Unreliable
Takes too long to boot up. Frequently unavailable which is exactly what you don’t want in a weather app.
Nice app but new backgrounds kill it
I’ve used this app for a long time, and like it. But the new update with the white on white background really kills it’s usefulness. If they don’t change it soon I’ll have to change my weather app.
Not accurate!
The app is very easy to use, but is rarely correct.
It’s ok
Current conditions and radar are goodish. Forecasts change more than the weather (what weather app doesn’t?) Don’t expect a forecast video. If it’s even there, it might be yesterday’s video, definitely not from the last newscast.
Great app
It has been great warning me of inclement weather conditions wherever I am at. Highly recommend
Last update makes the radar extremely inaccurate
Ever since you did the last update the app is extremely inaccurate. It use to be spot on. Maybe go back to the old program because current model blows. I’ve actually downloaded a different weather app.
Map hardly ever works anymore
I used to love this app but the radar hardly works
App Needs Help
The app doesn’t work as it is supposed to. The updates keep messing it up as well. Then there’s the issue of not mirroring Ch 6/28’ weather which it is supposed to do.. Get it right or get rid of it.. period!!!!!
Weather
MARSHALLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m disappointed.
When I first got the app a couple years ago, it was great. But now the radar is aggravating. If I close the app for 5 seconds then go back in, all of the things I set up are undone. Storm tracks, area specific alerts. All undone. The flashy add are annoying as well. A lot of things need fixed, properly and immediately. I am looking for a new weather due to these issues. Good job OHIOWX app makers. You ruined it.
No video forecast????
What happened to the video forecast that was once on this app? I watched that everyday multiple times. Please bring that feature back.
Only Local
I used the app all the time in the states. Recently went to Israel for a church trip and I couldn’t even open the app to see local Columbus weather. When I’m Columbus I could see Israel weather. There seems to be a block to access based on your physical location. Be advised. Looking for an app that works everywhere.
John R
User friendly. Great resource!
Interactive map not working
Not working on ipad
Wrong location
Last couple of weeks it has said I’m in Massachusetts….???? Never even been there. I delete that location and it still is “on” when I open app. Trying to re-install now
Background
Hey I can see the weather. 12/10/2017 So I wake up this morning and decide to check the weather. Open the app and hey new background. Looked nice enough, but then I click on hourly and I see a problem. At the bottom of the screen the white lettering blends in the background of the white clouds. Same thing when you go to daily screen. This is why we need Bill Kelly back, he would’ve never let this happen. White on white doesn’t work. I use this as my main weather app over any other. Time to start looking again. Because I know this won’t be fixed until the app decides to change in about a 2 years.
I love this accurate weather App.
I use this app every day and Love it. It is very accurate and lets me know if bad weather is on the way. I would recommend this app to anyone and will continue using it every day. Thanks for doing such a Great Job!!!!
Unable to open wx app
Why doesn’t it open anymore?
APP says it’s not available in this location
I get this comment every once in a while when I try to access this app. I have it set for Granville, Ohio which should be easily accessed. What is the problem? Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't,
Weather on the go!
Can’t be sitting in front of the tv at home to see the weather at designated times but can quickly see what’s happening in real time and what to expect. Easy to use and it’s right on the forecast and can see the weather to help keep me updated.
Good idea, bad execution
I like the layout of the app. However, I have installed it twice now(Dec 2019) and after a couple days of use, it freezes on the splash screen and never opens. So needless to say it’s useless if it won’t even open.
Contact me when old versions back
Insanely slow loading. Layout is clunky. The old version was amazing.
