Why 5 stars?
I’m not sure why anyone gave it Five stars when it’s one of the worst apps I’ve ever used. It’s telling me my dog should have had certain immunizations on dates that were before he was even born in red and there’s no way to check the ones that he has had. The ones he has had just have a red exclamation point next to them as if they still needed to be done. Some of this may be the fault of the vets office but there doesn’t seem to be any way to clear it up. There’s no way for me to update his weight. There’s no way for me to make the necessary corrections. There should be a place to say he had a visit on this date with a list of what immunizations he received. The dates they give us for our next appointment are after the dates he’s supposed to receive his next shots and so I get the red alert saying he’s past due and it stays there indefinitely. This is the worst way to keep track of my dog’s health. I’d rather go back to the handwritten record that you carry around with you than to deal with this app. I find it clumsy and frustrating and confusing because there is no way to correct any of the mistakes. 😩 this app needs a serious overhaul or the office staff at my vets place need a lesson on using the app.

Does not deliver
PetDesk claims to be a place where you can see your pets veterinary records and yet there is no place in the app for that. You can’t see the history of reminders that were sent to you about your Pet needing a vaccine or something, but actual records are nonexistent. When test results are in and you go to PetDesk to see those lab results more often than not it just says pending even when the results have been in and the doctor has them and talked to you about them. If you wanna go back and look at the history, there’s nothing there. I find PetDesk to be essentially useless.

The convenience of this app is amazing. No need to get on the phone or try and find history for my pets. Everything in one place!! Very easy to use.
Doesn’t support multiple pet parents!!!
The only way to allow for multiple pet parents is for one user to login to the app with the others credentials. This is a workaround not a feature and it poses security risk to the main user. This widens the care gap because it incentivizes couples to put all the invisible labor of caring for the pet/s on one person. There’s no way for the app to even allow for multiple email addresses to be added so that emails can AT THE VERY LEAST go to both caregivers. This is very poor app design, please do better.

Let’s sell insurance
I thought this was to interface with my vet. But no! The main page is all about selling pet insurance. Wellness articles… none on staying fit or managing diet. But 2 justifying pet insurance. And no way to turn it off. When you finally, after multiple clicks, get to your pet’s page.. the first thing you see is : A price for pet insurance. So far have not found any vaccine or license details. Did find appointment history. So what i need is not there And what i do not want is everywhere..

You need you fix the medication remember because it keeps coming up pass due it’s an everyday medication & it’s have to put it in once I finally do it doesn’t remind me everyday it does the one day then just comes up pass do so lease fix

Not too good
Making an appointment is a nightmare as you never get an email or notification from the app. The vets don’t really check anything. It would be nice to be able to enter your pets’ information yourself. I can’t tell you how many times I hit a reminder to have my already spayed dog make and appointment for the same thing. I had to get the vet office to shut off notifications for this. Waste of memory really.
History
Would be nice to see a history of all appointments and treatments. Currently can only see future appointments and current ones drop off.

Absolutely stupid sign up
Devs WTF!!?? I need to validate my email but when I send the validation email, I receive a marketing email to sign up instead. Same email I use at my vet. When I click the link in the email I go back to the app and to square one, sign up, validate your email and bam the marketing email to download the app and join.

Reminders
Why can’t they be sorted by most RECENT date? Pointless having to scroll thru list to the last entry. I’ve given up and manually added to my own calendar.

Can’t sign up - PLEASE FIX
I have tried multiple times to set up an account and you can’t! After providing your information it takes you to a landing page that says “Follow instructions sent your email to validate/finish setting up your account”. The email sent is titled “How to know when your pets need care” and offers no option to validate anything or finish signing up. “We love having you as a client! To say thank you, we've got a new mobile app for you and your animal companions. Plus: Request Appointments 24/7 Pet Pickup Notifications Create and store all your pets' reminders Just follow these steps on your Apple or Android device: 1. Download PetDesk App 2. Sign up using your email address 3. Verify your info and pet info in the app” So you’re back at square one in a never ending loop with no fix available! Cool!

I think this is an App that’s full of all my required information - all stored in one place that’s easy to navigate. I really appreciate that. Lots of additional information right at your fingertips. Two thumbs up!

Terrible app
This app is horrible! I literally downloaded the app and it is suppose to send me a email to validate my email and account instead it continues to send me emails to DOWNLOAD THE APP! Like I LITERALLY CREATED A PROFILE THROUGH THE APP! I DONT NEED TO DOWNLOAD SOMETHING THAT IS ALREADY DOWNLOADED! JUST SEND ME THE DANG ON EMAIL VALIDATION SO I CAN ACTUALLY USE THE FREAKING APP
Rewards section
Something changed if I go into reward section ( the bottom page menu disappears) I have to delete app completely. Then go into store app find and reopen sign in. It repeats every time I try to look into reward.

Can’t even finish creating account
I tried signing up for an account and it sent an email to validate my email. Issue is the email sent isn’t a email to validate my email. It just tells me that there is a new app and to download it sign up under my email and verify pet info. Issue is the new app is the same app and this app has a content pop up of saying to go validate my email. I even tried deleting this app then clicking on the download link in the email and it’s this same app! And as soon as I open it they pop up is back saying to go validate my email. lol. What the heck! Deserves 0 stars because you can’t even use it.
The best app for pet control !
Simply it is the best app of its kind!!! I have two dogs and have all their info at the app, but would be great (and that is why I give 4/5 stars) if add the following features: 1) add Spanish language 2) weight in grams and kilograms
Documents needed
We were on vacation and I needed my pets immunization records to send him to daycare on a really hot day. I was able to use the app and obtain all the records that allowed him to go and stay cool inside and hang out with other pets, he had a great day. This app was a lifesaver. Literally. Had he been outside in the heat, It could’ve been a bad day.
Hides the Logout feature
The vet sent me an email to sign up for this. It may be great but it is a little freaky that they hide the sign out feature because they want you to stay signed in. Had to search the FAQs to locate the sign out steps.

This is a new way for me to keep my pets appointments organized and I am loving it…
Very helpful with pet care
I have all my pets information available to me when needed. I can also request appointments through this app when needed. It even alerts me when vaccines are due. I love it!
Bad experience
I was using this app for all of my pets and it kept ‘most’ of their information up to date. It was a useful tool until I moved and switched vet clinics. As soon as I had my pets records sent to the new clinic in our new neighborhood everything on pet desk was deleted. Also it was within 24 hr one of my cats had passed and they had completely deleted his profile. Horrible.
