Booked taxi cancelled
Aurland. Booked taxi cancelled. After calling the company they said they don’t use the app in July, but this wasn’t advertised anywhere and the app didn’t warn about this.
Despite reviews it works fine
I was not expecting this to work considering the reviews said it’s awful and no taxis arrive using it. But we used this app 4 times during our trip to Norway and it works fine. It is not really the apps fault if a taxi drops off anyway as you can get this with uber and most other apps too (but we didn’t experience this). It does ask a few too many questions during the sign up process and once a taxi is booked the confirmation screen is orange with light blue text which is difficult to read. Other than that it works fine!
No multiple destinations
It’s not possible to add multiple destinations in the app, which you need if you’re splitting the trip with someone. This is easy to do in Bolt and Uber, but you can’t in TaxiFix

Very poorly designed
I tried to submit a request for a taxi to the airport for *tomorrow* am, but instead of letting me tell it when I needed the taxi, it dispatched a taxi immediately. I immediately tried to cancel it, but other than calling the driver, it doesn’t let you do that. I called the driver immediately, but I don’t know whether I will get charged. All well-designed apps like this allow you to confirm the details before the order is finalized. Very poorly designed. 🙄
Works fine
Not fancy, but it gets the job done for advance orders. Which is good as it's the only app I've found that supports smaller towns in Norway.
Basic options missing
Stop giving me 5-10 min arrival when I see taxis driving around that are available and closer. What the hell Also not able to navigate around on the map when a taxi is locked. Also not able to save preferred payment method. Stupid

Alltid hyggelige sjåfører hos OsloTaxi som kan veien og har kjentmannsprøven. Den eneste seriøse aktøren igjen i Oslo. Når jeg en sjelden gang bruker andre selskap så nå jeg forklare veien.

My child use taxi to bhg n it does not let me track, now having a daughter , I am too concerned that it’s broken every other day , n does not let me track where the car is ,, its annoying why cannot they fix ,, how can it be broken all the time
Seems very Reliable
I’ve only used Taxifix once. It was very easy to install and set up. I gave it my US cell number for alerts and it worked just fine. I pre booked a taxi for an early morning 5:30 AM pickup about 25 km out of Oslo and the driver showed up 2 minutes early. Everything worked perfectly. Taxis are expensive in Oslo but sometimes you need to spend more for reliability.

Det er bortimot mulig å skrive inn riktig adresse med skjermleser, og det går ikke an å lese hva man har skrevet i tilleggskommentarfeltet. Synes det blir dårligere og dårligere for hver oppdatering
Great in Gothenburg
Used this in Gothenburg and it was great, both for instant taxis and bookings for later. Cars turned up reliably and I was given their car details in advance and regular updates before and during the journey.
Bafflingly terrible
Ordered a taxi the night before a trip, and the app said it was confirmed. The next day, nothing shows up. No communication whatsoever on the app. It tells you nothing and fails to give you what you order. Absolute crap.
Doomed via update
Worked brilliantly yesterday. Not today after an app update, which is rather unfortunate. Can’t imagine how busy that phone line is going to be as more and more update.
Enkel og fin app
Enkel og fin app, hvor flere og flere selskaper kommer på. Savner imidlertid å kunne se hvor drosjene rundt om er på kartet. Også får å se hvor lang tid det vil ta før man faktisk bestiller. Risikerer at en bil lengre unna tar turen og man må vente ekstra lenge.
Went smoothly
Booked a 3:30 am pickup the day before. This app was recommended by locals. The driver arrived a few minutes beforehand and everything went smoothly!
ABSOLUTE RIPOFF - USE UBER
1st time taking a taxi in Oslo, came across a free one when I needed to get back to my apartment quickly & it ended up costing $49 USD for 2.6 mile ride from downtown. Insane pricing & will be sticking with Uber, they are 3x cheaper.

Vanskelig å se hvor taxien er før den er nesten framme. Ikke mulig å zoome ut eller gjøre noe fornuftig med kartet.
Fungerar inte med svenskt mobilnummer
Beställer du flera taxiresor efter varandra så går appen på den första adressen. Vilket gör att taxin åker fel och du får vänta. Irriterande, händer mig gång på gång. Då jag oftast inte har nån koll på gatan jag åker ifrån, utan bara gatan jag skall till.

Jeg har brukt Taxifix ifm et beinbrudd og måtte ta taxi til og fra jobb noen uker. Forhåndsbestilte alle turene og taxiene var på plass vanligvis litt før avtalt klokkeslett. Fint med en makspris når man bestiller og alle turene ble billigere enn den. Noe som kunne vært bedre er å skrive en lengre beskjed til sjåføren når det er behov. Nå er det plass til kun 42 tegn til beskjed. Ellers synes jeg denne appen var helt topp. 👍🏻

Ingen valg for hund i appen
Får raskt bil og enkelt å bestille. Derfor en ekstra stjerne. Derimot ingen mulighet å oppgi at man har med hund, slik det er hos feks Uber eller Bolt. Trodde derfor det var greit. Så da sjåføren kom, nekta han å kjøre oss pga hund og sa det måtte oppgis under bestilling. Bare synd det ikke var mulighet å gjøre det i appen. Hunden var liten, så det var ikke plass som var problemet. Jeg har ikke mulighet til å ringe, så da blir ikke denne brukt før dette evt blir endret.
An easy way to get around town!
I was a little worried based on the reviews in the App Store but we had absolutely zero issues using this app! We landed at the airport around midnight and I was worried we wouldn’t be able to find a ride since the bus wasn’t operating at that time. We easily got a ride and had a great experience overall with all of our drivers when we were in Alta! I highly recommend.
Useless
Tried to book a taxi in Sweden ahead of time. Lets me enter start and end location but then assumes current time so rejects the request and starts again at location. Never gets to the point where I can enter the time. Fatal flaw
Litt opptatering for å få kontakt
Har prøvd både via app og ringe de gangene når trengte taxi, men kom aldri igjennom på noe av det og bør gjerne gjøre noe opptatering at det blir litt lettere for å bestille via app eller ringe på tlf

The app requires you to enter an SMS verification code before submitting credit card info, but will never send the SMS to international phone numbers. (Icelandic here)

Work Great!
Easy to setup. Only a few steps to schedule a rider. One click to cancel then rebooking as easy as first booking. Car arrived 10 min. earlier then scheduled time. Airport flat fee applied. It’s helpful when you don’t want to make a international phone call to book a taxi using roaming, as long as you can access to WiFi.
Proceed with caution
Downloaded earlier today to request a taxi to the airport tomorrow morning. I got an error submitting the booking and have had 2 charges hit my card for the reservation but nothing shows in the app to give me confidence that a taxi will show up for the early morning reservation. Fare for this short ride in Norway is not cheap (short distance 9 minute ride for $32 US). So I don’t want to keep trying in this unreliable app. Sent an email to support for this time sensitive issue and got an auto reply back. There are no obvious support options in app. Has not been a good experience so far. No idea if taxi reserved and will show, $65 in charges on credit card and who knows how much of my time it will take to get this resolved.
