I love selling on Ecwid, is very user friendly with a lot of great features.
Unusable
Extremely slow and freezes after making any clicks. I have the newest iPhone and app is up to date. No point of this app. I end up having to use the mobile site if I need to get anything done on my phone. Do your app creators actually test it? They should because everyone on our team has the same issue with the app.

Changed the reports and now it is difficult to find the information I want. If I want detailed data I’d go to the website, I just want basic sales funnel information in the app.

I gave a 3 star because though it’s a great platform for startup businesses like myself it gets pricey over time.
Very easy to use
I like using the ecwid app as it is very easy to use especially when you are adding a listing. It is very user friendly and very quick to update. I have been having a hard time with other platforms as it takes too much time when you list an item. And this app works great for me.
Poor service
It used to be good but the service is quite bad now, they removed the live chat. After I spoke several times with bots via email, as I think there are no more human being service, they say I have now the live chat which in part is “true” but doesn’t work properly, and I’m seeking them by email for a week, and the problem is not sorted yet. Plus after 2-3 emails from my side, answered me at the same thread Allianz Digital!?, how that can be possible? I’m having the suspect that they can be scams? If the problem is not sorted soon I’ll probably abandon Ecwid
Love Ecwid but the price for the plans has gone up significantly over the years.
I have really enjoyed the ease of use of Ecwid and the ability to bring things about. However, when I started with Ecwid years ago, it was much more reasonably priced small businesses. I understand that there is changed and progress progression. But I started out when Ecwid only had three plan options. Now they have four outside of the free plan, but the prices have gone up so much per month. It’s still cheaper than Shopify however it’s not cheaper how much. Some of the same features I was used to getting in the venture plan have moved to the business plan and even before that it was called premium. Needless to say I’m not quite sure how much longer I’m going to be able to continue having my online store with Ecwid. Some of us do not gross 20 K a month. Some of us don’t even make sales every month. And that was one of the things that drew me too awkward is if you have a very small business, trying to get out there do what you can stay viable, you need options that aren’t gonna cost you a significant amount of overhead. Also, some of the connectivity to social media aspects, with the ability to customize layout those features don’t always integrate properly.

App doesn’t work
Not a bad review because I’ve used Ecwid before and it’s very good and easy to use but I just deleted the app a few weeks ago to free up storage and now I’ve downloaded it again, when I try to open the app it just leaves me on the loading screen

Horrible practice of deactivating my store
I have been the customer of Ecwid for over 3 years, the increasing monthly subscription forced me to look for somewhere else. To avoid the renewal in 7 days, I cancelled the subscription plan earlier. Without any warning, and with 7 days remaining paid subscription left, ecwid just deactivated my online store while I still had an open order to deal with. It's really horrible and cold way to keep your customers out. I am glad to look for alternative plan now rather than too much rely on it.

Seit Tagen versuche ich über das iPhone XR mich einzuloggen mittels QR Code oder E-Mail Adresse. Die App bereits zweimal installiert, in verschiedenen WLAN getestet: Immer kommt die Fehlermeldung, dass es Probleme in der Verbindung zum Server gibt. Mühselig. Ich habe die App auch auf dem iPhone 12 seit über einem Jahr. Immer wieder öffnet sie nicht die Bestellübersicht, sondern der Bildschirm bleibt im gelben Lademodus.
Find it expensive
In order to use this app well for a small business you need the higher levels. I wish the Venture package allowed 500 product items. Such a jump from 100 to 2500 items with the plans.
New to e-commerce
Ecwid is super easy to set up and manage an online business!! So far I’m very happy with this platform. I have tried Shopify and I feel Ecwid is easier to set up and manage! Definitely recommend!!
The price hikes are crazy
The service is good overall. But they are increasing the prices at a completely crazy pace making excuses about new features that most of us don’t need. Just be aware what you are getting into. I will try to find an alternative and I suggest you avoid.
I can run my day to day business operations on my phone
And I like that ;) The app is lacking some features that are made up for on the website, but the website is lacking some features which then negatively impact sales (such as not allowing the cheapest shipping option to show first automatically, which drives away customers before they get far enough into the checkout to see the full list of options. A code input provided by support helps but does not solve this blatant overlook). Shipping orders off the app is simple and extremely fast. I copy the tracking number from Pirate Ship and paste it into the order and the rest of the work is done for me! I can post listings and work with SEO entirely on my phone. I can review abandoned carts and assess what I can do better from my phone. I run 95% of my business from my phone thanks to Ecwid! Overall Ecwid is great and I’ve seen no compelling arguments for me to switch, but someday I may have to if a service which provides everything Ecwid does and more is made aware to me. I hope that Ecwid continues to improve, especially the shipping option at checkout issue mentioned above (it really does hurt my sales).
Doesn’t open all the time
I use this app mostly every day- or try to - every time I get a sale, the app won’t load up. It’s very frustrating when your trying to run a business but can’t access your own shop!
Great app
Would be nice to have automated abandoned cart emails on the Venture option for online stores with digital resources. It is rather pricey to upgrade to Business just for this feature.
Amazing app for small business
This app has literally made our small business possible and they keep creating more ways to make our business successful. Their customer service is always responsive and nice. If they don’t have the answer then they will find it and email it in a timely manner. Best app ever!!
Thieves and liars
I joined up in 2010 as an early adopter under the promise of $17 a month for life because they were missing shipping costs, weights, and dozens of other features that are essential for an e-commerce product to be launched. They didn't have enough money to launch and so they asked early adopters like myself to join with the promise of $17 per month for life for free. I was also one of the two idea mangers behind this iOS app, and they credited me when they added it to the Apple App Store with my name and his as being the inspiration for the app and they thanked us both. Now they're expecting me to pay for it because they've turned it into a subscription app and the early adopter subscription isn't included. So firstly, they broke their promise by doubling the $17-$30 a month without informing us, and secondly, they turned a free app into a paid one to force people to upgrade and actually took it away from the two people who gave them the idea for the app in the first place and ask us to pay for it? Well, ECWID is dead. It's been taken over by a point of sale system that is unethical and really old-fashioned in its methods and doesn't have a future and this product will end up going the way of GL cities and my space because they haven't got on the AI bandwagon either so compared to Shopify and big commerce and wix, well, They are just really a tiny ant stood up against a giant tree ..it's Shopify or another more trustworthy, larger, corporate product because these people are really dodgy and they keep breaking their word and changing their mind and you can't trust the product anymore since the light speed take over

Bug!
Ne pas téléchargé la dernière version ! Elle a bug qui empêche d'avoir toutes les informations de son compte. C'est indiqué qu'il faut upgrader le compte en premium pour avoir les informations directement sur l'application mais je suis déjà en premium et pourtant je n'ai plus rien depuis cette mise à jour ! J'attends un correctif rapide... Merci

У меня так и не получилось синтегрировать Эквид с Фэйсбуком , чтобы полноценно продавать в Инстаграмм . Возможно , Эквид здесь и не причём , но сражаться с Фэйсбуком у меня нет ни времени ни желания . В итоге , деньги выкинуты на ветер ( месячная подписка на Бизнес план). При попытке удалить приложение , чтобы не платить снова за продление - отказ . Надо дождаться сутки до окончания действующей Подписки и только потом удалять . Почему я не могу удалить приложение тогда , когда это удобно Мне ? А должна держать в голове дату, назначенную разработчиками ?

App keeps crashing
I love ecwid and have always used the app but for the last month it crashes within the first 15 seconds of opening it always. I have updated the app since and it still happens, making it unusable to me. Please try fix this bug!
It’s OK
Ecwid does the job you need it to do. However, there is a lot of improvement to be made. As it provides us with a free trial, it should also allow us to create discounts instead of paying £14.99 (lowest price) before. Only the lack of customisation it has for the website. Please allow us to edit the code sections etc. We need to make sales before we make a purchase to your service. It’s not fair for beginners at all!

Great e-commerce platform
This is the best system I’ve used both for website and e-commerce platform. It was easy to learn and it’s easy to use and very convenient with the app for my phone as well. A few things to work out with shipping, but hopefully that will be coming soon. Outstanding staff to work with.

Idea Great - implementation still poor
The Feature "New Order " is great but it would be Even greater if it worked. E.g. It is Not possible to choose options for a product, e.g. You create an Order for a shoe, but you cannot Key in the size, Even though you have put all the Sizes in the product options in the store beforehand... You cannot filter orders by Customer neither... By Putting an Order you cannot choose by product categogies... Again: Overall: Great idea but it seems that the developer do Not Talk with real shop owners or do not listen to their needs...
Bien, mais des points à améliorer
Le système ECWID est bien fait et complexe. Quelques remarques toutefois : 1/ Il existe une interface est en français et c’est assez pratique. Cependant aucun support ou aide en français, c’est un énorme problème. Même avec un niveau d’anglais plus que correct, ça devient vite très difficile à gérer. 2/ Pas de réponse aux mails lorsque je contacte le support clients. Il y a un système de chat, très pratique et les gens sont compétents, mais la plupart du temps surbooké et on nous invite à plutôt adresse un mail (sans réponse). Sinon une liste d’attente très longue, on peut énormément de temps. 3/ Système de paiement CB, trop limitatif. Des partenaires dont la fiabilité peut paraître douteuse (modules de paiement), certains même qui ne répondent jamais (le français LEMONWAY). Impossible d’intégrer le système MERCANET de BNP PARIBAS qui fonctionne pourtant avec la plupart des sites!! J’aimerais pouvoir contacter ECWID pour leur faire part entre autre de ces points, mais ça ne semble pas possible, dommage.

The po has been 30 days not opening! It only shows a black screen, i've tried reinstalling it on my phone and others phone still same problem
Great e-commerce system
Ecwid is a fantastic and often-underlooked e-commerce system. This app makes it easy to keep an eye on orders when out and about. Given 4 stars instead of 5 as despite being a paid member I cannot edit orders as I need the next level up which is crazy given that it is such a basic function.
