Not reliable
Wish I could give negative stars if there was one. Bought 3 items which consist makari products and upon arrival it was a totally different thing that was delivered. I don’t know how that happened and upon several complaints about a refund they refused to refund me. Use this app at your own risk!!!

Poor, substandard quality control
First purchase, success. Second purchase of the same item “defective”. All 20+ of the items visually & physically defective. Items should be inspected prior to shipping to customer. The issue would have been addressed internally between supplier and Ubuy. Instead, I a previously happy customer is now playing email tag ( arguing) with customer support. And they are telling me there is nothing they can do. Absolutely, unacceptable! Terrible customer support and lack of supplier quality control.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional e-commerce experiences I’ve ever had. I placed an order containing multiple items. Ubuy contacted me to say one specific item (a ring light) was going to be severely delayed. I requested to cancel only that delayed item so the rest of my order could proceed. Unbelievably, they told me I had to pay a $12 USD cancellation fee because the item had supposedly "left the seller's warehouse"—even though the delay was entirely their fault. Reluctantly, I agreed to absorb their $12 fee just to keep the rest of my unaffected order moving. What did their customer service team do? They showed zero reading comprehension, completely ignored my instructions, and cancelled my ENTIRE order, including the items that had absolutely no issues. Because of their own supply chain delays and the utter incompetence of their support staff, I was penalized $12 and received absolutely nothing in return. I essentially paid them to waste my time. Save yourself the headache, the hidden fees, and your money. Avoid Ubuy at all costs. **UPDATE (April 21, 2026):** Shortly after posting my initial review, I was contacted directly by Ubuy's Senior Online Reputation Management. They sincerely apologized, took full responsibility for the miscommunication from their support agent, and promptly refunded the unfair $12 cancellation fee. I appreciate that their management team monitors feedback and genuinely steps in to make things right for their customers. I have updated my rating to reflect this positive resolution.
Buggy app and a rip off
Sometimes it feels like that it’s the last option to get items from overseas, but just don’t do it. The application is extremely bad customer support is bad. All sorts of hidden fees. I needed a particular computer part and it ended up costing me about five times as much. A second item was destroyed at customs, and I was unable to recoup the costs of that item overall, a horrible experience I would never do it again.

Lame Shipping
I purchased a rocket stove and a 100 liter stainless steel kettle. At some point, ubuy.mw said that the two orders were going to be combined into one. The rocket stove was shipped and received, but the 100 liter kettle was not shipped. So, now I have pay someone again to travel to the Chileka airport in Blantrye again.

After reading the reviews and seeing that it had good overall reviews, I decided to download the app and give it a shot. I buy quite a few items from online retailers, and when you first open the app, it immediately asks for your location. Once downloaded, the United States is not even an option, so if you live here in the states, don’t waste your time downloading the app. I read the reviews and they said they are working on lifting the shipping restrictions to the USA, however this has yet to happen.

Good but could be improved
Loading items when searching for something takes a bit of time which is inconvenient during long shopping sessions. Other than that it is a solid app and meets standard expectations of any online shopping application.

I would like to announce About The shipping fee And the (Shipping,& handling) And i would like to add the (clearance), Fr. why is the shipping And handling Costs 2x of the order half Also the clearance Must Not be included In the order, many companies Hasn’t Included The clearance. I'm so confused How would you Add a 10x money For the reason, Even the bad company doesn’t even Do that, Please go fix your fees. Its an scam to include 15x of the money. This company has allowed for my website to be scraped and have reproduced my copyrighted content in multiple countries. They have lied to me about it and claimed to have taken the pages down but it's a lie. HORRIBLE PEOPLE.

Worst Customer Service Ever
I’ve been using the app for a quite a while ordering form the US store, but my last few orders were such a negative experience, made decided to delete the app, and never use the service again, customer service never answer in a transplant answers and keep provided unrealistic solutions and answers

You can find almost everything in this app. However the search could be more specified to help get exactly what you are looking for.
Convenient for rich, load on purse for others
Its a convenient online store for rich people who wany to buy items from US, but for others be careful. They hide the extra charges of import duty/tax being levied by Indian authorities. You will have to pay heavy amounts even after paying the already steep prices on the website. Be ready to shell out 1.5 times the already high price mentioned on their website if you want to receive your item with no refund option. Wow experience.

Ubuy used to have reasonable prices for products and shipping but nowadays products are unbelievably pricey and shipping depends on the products

Got item from USA...successfully
This is First time I ordered from their website, product was from USA... got it after paying huge Customs Fess (delivery partner share online link for this payment) as fees are higher on imported products. Finally product was delivered by DHL, packing was good, proper updates are available on apps, links. Initially I was worried to order after reading online reviews... but I give it try as product was not available anywhere.

Slow, bad, and un professional
The app is painfully slow, the shipment is crazy overpriced, Customer service do not respond, payment domain can lag and cause the amount to be deducted but without the completion of the order which would prompt you to contact customer service that do not even respond, also the customer service number is incorrect for most countries
