Great but
I am starting grade 4 ballet and I have been using this app for a while now and I noticed that you can’t see any previews of anything before you buy it. Why is that?
HORRIBLE ALWAYS FROZEN
when I got this app I was so exited to progress on my exam I spent 30 dollars and as soon as I click a exercise it goes frozen I can’t get on the video and ai and all the rad websites could not help me HORRIBLE APP

Can’t transfer to another device
My daughter has her own iPad now but I’m not able to put it on her device. So every time she wants to use the videos she has to use my iPad. Very frustrating. Now I’m not sure whether to purchase the grade 3 video on my iPad or hers. If I purchase on hers then not all the videos will be on the one device. Could you please fix this?
Convenient but has issues
It’s great for the convenience of being able to quickly look up the syllabus, but certain features don’t work properly and other features that should really be there are missing. The most obvious issue is that grade 7 is missing. There are some glitches, e.g. Setting the playback speed to 0.5x, scrubbing, then pressing play causes the video to playback at normal speed, even though it says it’s still playing back at half speed. This gets annoying after a while. There should also be an option to mirror the video, so that you can dance along without struggling to translate the movements into the correct orientation in your head as you go. At the moment I have to face my iPad away from me and place a mirror in front of it to get the desired effect, which isn’t really very convenient.
Amazing
Helps so much to get the syllabus quickly
No sharing - buyer beware
They REFUSE to allow family sharing, forcing you to PAY for the SAME thing if you have multiple children. They are aware but treat us like CASH COWS. Predatory behaviour, knowing the syllabus is only useful for one year and not allowing family sharing for siblings to utilise on their devices.

Cannot use family sharing
I purchased the app for my daughter as I don’t allow her to purchase anything on her iPad but she cannot access the purchase on her iPad through family sharing to practice, so has to use my phone when she’d like to practice. Kind of defeats the purpose of having it
Could be better
I recently got the app and I bought the grade 4 syllabus but I can click on to barre but it won’t let me click on any of the dances. It’s very frustrating because my exams are coming up don’t and so I have to go to YouTube to practice.
Excellent resource
As a teacher, I love using this app alongside the syllabus books and music. I’m very much looking forward to grades 6,7 & 8 being available also. I would love the option of a mirrored version of the videos for following along with.
Doesn’t allow family sharing
Please update to allow family sharing. My daughter is old enough for her own device, it was not stated upfront that family sharing wasn’t enabled. I now have to let her use my device or pay again for it on her device. Please enable family sharing or refund me so I can purchase on her device.
It’s ok
it’s good for practice but it’s expensive and will cost you lots of money they should add accounts so that you can have the same level you’re in on a different device without having to pay as much and still have accounts onto devices.
Family Sharing - Please help
Can you please help in allowing Family Sharing. It is already expensive but having to purchase for each of my children so they can practice on their own devices is crazy.
One Problem
The content on the app is amazing but disappointing that there is content for boys Grade 6-7 but not girls. My daughter has been using the app to help her with her Grade 5 exam practice and it would be really useful as she continues to move forward

No Family sharing and cannot rotate video to landscape
Average app but terrible set up with no support. App does not support family sharing and it also is locks in a portrait mode for the videos. I cannot rotate to watch in landscape.
Pretty solid
This app is really good, it’s just it only works on mobile. It would be appreciated if that could be fixed!🥰
Purchases won’t share across devices
I wish I had known that purchases themselves don’t share across devices! Now my daughter either has to use my phone to use this app or I have to repurchase from her device (clever way for developers to make money). Very frustrating
Allow family sharing (properly)
App itself is fine. We’ve used it for years without difficulty. But now my dancers are old enough for their own devices it’s infuriating the family sharing doesn’t work. I don’t need the whole rad syllabus on my phone and iPad. I want it on theirs! And if I purchase through their ID then I can’t use it for the next dancer as it only recognizes the purchase on her device. Fix please!

Please fix family sharing. It only plays on my phone (and can’t rotate the videos to full-screen horizontal view so it’s tiny!) and I bought it for my daughter’s IPad. I now can’t share as it won’t allow family sharing. VERY FRUSTRATING!
Family sharing in app purchases doesn’t seem to work
Having just got a device for my daughter it is frustrating that the family sharing doesn’t make the purchased grade videos available directly on her device.

Works perfectly, ignore the bad reviews
Amazing resource for students to watch and learn outside of class. Perfect examples used (the dancers doing the demonstrations are Distinction students), audio is loud should you want it to be and it works landscape and portrait. Only worry/issue: RAD, where is grade 6&7 for girls. You have the boys version but not the girls? I can’t imagine having such an amazing resource as this and having to give it up at grade 6 when the choreography gets more complex!
Family Sharing Issue
Please fix this so the app can be shared. $30 is a decent amount to be paying for an app and very frustrating that it doesn’t allow access through family sharing.

I had some issues at the start but it got fixed after a day or two I am learning my dances for grade 5 and am learning them very quickly now thank you!
Needs work....
This app is ok but they don’t have Grade 7 or grade 8 girls and when I try to call them to ask if they have those syllabuses, RAD never answer the phone. They really need to fix that and add the grade 7 and grade 8 girls. I bought intermediate and it works great but just add the grades please.
Well......
When the app is working, it is great! However, it has been very disappointing as it’s currently not letting me download a syllabus, I have just paid for! I have read previous reviews and looked up what to do online, but still won’t work! It says it’s an internet connection problem however, that is not the case! I would recommend the app (if it’s working fine) however, don’t assume that it will! 😕
RAD Ballet

No Family Sharing
I cannot believe I cannot share this app on my kids devices! Very expensive to have to have just one iPad with everything in one.
Not all grades on here
Great app and very useful - used it for all my exams so far. But I currently need the Grade 6 female syllabus, which is not on the app.
Not useable
When I opened this app and paid for the syllabus, it wouldn’t let me get onto the exercises. I feel cheated and really disappointed with this. Not happy about it.
Good but not excellent
This app is very handy if you need to study or practice the exercises when not with your teacher. It works smooth every time I use it, it took a little bit to download but was because of the internet connection. I gave it 3 stars because you can't see the content offline meaning I have to stream it if not connected to Wi-fi and secondly because they don't have all the material available (Grade 6-7 female, that it's my next one).
Really helps me
I love this app, it really helps me to learn my syllabus for my class and exam. I practice all the time with the music and watch the videos whenever I get the opportunity to .
No family sharing
Really terrible that there is no family sharing. Y wife made the purchases, so we can’t get the videos on my iPad making it really hard to use. Very disappointing.
If the volume was louder it would be perfect !
Gorgeous and love the new features . Has really helped , but the Volume is so low ! Please could this be rectified as with any sort of student / background noise you just can’t hardly hear it x
Bad
I downloaded the app, and went to god Grade 6 GIRLS and it wasn’t there. They only have a few grades, which is stupid! Don’t get the app!
RAD you must try harder!
When this works it is a great app, you can watch the syllabus as many times as you like especially if you are struggling with a particular section. What is really frustrating is if you have taken the app off your device for any reason, it is impossible to restore the items. And yes, removed the app and reinstalled as suggested by the RAD's website. When each syllabus is in excess of £10 and most closer to £20,RAD must do better to make the app helpful to the user. How can they block your purchase multiple times, when any other app does not do this?? Makes me reluctant to buy future syllabuses....
Brilliant
I downloaded this to help my daughter before exams and to practice a new grade’s dances and exercises before moving up. I originally purchased the syllabus on my iPhone and had trouble restoring my purchase for my iPad, but have since worked it out. Simply click ‘restore purchase’ and then click ‘buy’ on the item you have already purchased. Rather than asking for payment confirmation, it will just start downloading the syllabus that you have already paid for. The girls and boys demonstrating the exercises and dances are brilliant. Thanks for making this app RAD.
Video purchase not working with no app support
I purchased an in app video for $42. It downloaded but none of the videos played . There is no real support, any avenue I tried went no where . The contacts from RAD app said it’s a problem with apple and nothing to do with them . All my software is up to date, the app requires iOS 9 and above . I have ios16 . I followed all apples suggestions update and restore . RAD were very dismissive . It’s such a shame it doesn’t work .
Volume?
Great app most of the time but volume is super low since latest update? Love the new features though!

Very convenient but I need sound!
I love that I can watch the syllabus from my phone, it's perfect! However the video plays without any sound. Very unhelpful when trying to learn the exercises. Please help!
Great App.
I got this after being advised from RAD themselves and it's cheaper than buying from their website. Works very smoothly on my phone with fast download speed. A must for when practicing outside of class. No faults so far, a brilliant app. I highly recommend it. If it doesn't work then it's more to do with your internet as so far it works brilliantly for me. Not sure if you need to stay connected to the Internet to play videos though or if you can play them offline. Overall I see not fault so far. It would be nice to have little notes as to what to look out for like the instructions your teacher would give you. But I may get the book for that.
Doesn’t work with family sharing
I just bought this app and the relevant video on my iPhone and it doesn’t transfer over to the iPad as my daughter is signed in. This is OUTRAGEOUS that it’s not stated in the aps original purchase information. Clearly this is designed for children who need parents to buy it for them. Please refund my money or fix this!!!

Should have a log in system so purchases can be accessed on multiple devices. If your device dies, you have to repurchase the grades again on your new device.
Very good, BUT
Generally very good and helpful for exam preparation. The app has all the exercises and dances of each RAD grade. However, the iPhone version does not work on the iPad. You can only have it on one device, which is very annoying - particularly given how expensive it is.
