I love it I used to check it every Sunday but then it stopped working it won't let me in any more I've tried everything so.
The app is weekly messing up and violating the principle of least surprise
Every week it seems it randomly chooses a day or two to reorder the tabs. This brings to my other major complaint. You can go back but never forward— eg it seems to remember random check points of your reading history. If you accidentally hit the back button, (while reading, while trying to fix the fact that they’re rearranged your tabs for you, etc ) you sometimes can recover it from the history on the main page but otherwise you have to remember where you are. Eg the browser back and forward button is a standard way of doing things like this — so if you can go backward why can’t you go forwards??? Stupid interface. I use this app daily — for myself and kids. And so the fact that this happens 30+ times a year is super annoying and proof that they don’t understand good user experience, or don’t have the quality control to keep the app from breaking in these unexpected ways. The content is great, the links, the videos. But how do they screw up the most basic parts of the user experience and expectation. There’s nothing like having a tool that is otherwise good but weekly reminds and frustrates you with its random behaviors and poor UX.
Fix what you broke in the hymns section.
This app was wonderful for over a decade-until they broke the way hymns display somewhere around July ‘26. Bring back the easy full-page zoomable interface, and it’ll be back to 5 star status.

This is an amazing app for studying the scriptures.
I can't stand this app.
It's functional insanity not focused on media access and progress history... Youve turned a reading and study app into a collection of isolated file cabinets instead of treating your actual workflow and journey as the primary interface. By forcing everything into strict structural silos (Scriptures here, General Conference there, Manuals in another drawer), the app completely breaks the natural flow of study. When you are jumping between a verse in Alma, a footnote link, a handbook, and a 1980 conference talk, your study history is your context. Burying that trail behind multi-tap menus or treating history as an afterthought (or a basic text log) completely misses how people actually engage with complex text libraries. An interface built truly around history would make your timeline the canvas—a fluid, chronological stream where your path of discovery is front and center, letting you swipe effortlessly back through your exact footprint instead of forcing you to re-navigate nested directory trees. History is everything. Where we've been. The progress we've made. The last time we accessed. Timestamps, titles, progress, re-opening the app and history being the first screen. Continue where you left off? Here's where you were last ( last 5+ media). Tap> open in new screen? Go to existing screen. Savvy?

Has all the LDS tools and scripture I need. However, it can be a little glitchy and finicky so some updates or patches would be great
Please fix
Please fix asap!! The last 2 days the app doesn’t respond at all. If it does, it’s too slow to do anything. Tried it all on my end but nothing is working with it.
Progress
This app is developed over the years, but after over a decade of frequent requests to have tabbed side-by-side studies, still not a thing. I kept another scripture app of the book of Mormon on Standard Work just so I could do the side-by-side reading Mathew chapter 5 and 3 Nephi 12 and other scriptures that match the Bible for comparisons, but not something they’ve added so glad we now have a back button to go to the last thing that was opened, we are for now missing the forward button. In this latest release often the refresh bookmarks doesn’t show up thankfully they updated when you scroll up and down that things don’t hide, but we get other glitches now and occasionally it’s still jumps into full screen mode, even though the preference is not to do that
SUGGESTION TO UPDATE
Please make it possible to create a study plan of different things. For example I would love to create a study plan for all the general conferences that talk about “marriage”, if would be awesome if that would be possible. Or to if we can just add whatever talks we want. THANK YOU! LOVE THIS APP
Constantly glitchy
Grateful for the gospel, unfortunate we can’t get the app to work smoothly. It’s been many years that this app can’t work straight and continues..
App is great but is missing a few features
Navigating the app is fine. Highlighting scriptures is very intuitive. There are a few features I would love to see added. Highlighted scriptures should be able to be organized into user defined topics. Highlight colors should show the predetermined color as well as a user defined color using the color picker. Writing using any type of stylus should be able to be used throughout the app. Writing colors should also be considered as well as allowing others to pick their own color.

Great features poorly implemented
I’ve used this app for many years and have found it a real blessing compared to using traditional paper based scriptures and manuals. Being able to create notebooks while studying the scriptures has transformed my ability to learn, recall and look up relevant scriptures when preparing talks or lessons. However it disappointing to see how consistently buggy the app is, frequently needing me to do a hard reset to get menus and notes to appear properly. I like to use dark mode which seems to cause even more problems with menus etc. I wish the development team would put more effort into testing as the bugs are quite easy to find. It is also disappointing to see the changes made recently to the layout and navigation of the app. It is much more confusing now and a step backwards from how clear and simple it used to be. Great app, shame about the development, testing and support.

I love this app so much every time I listen to walk with me every time it goes like walk with me the walking part like stay at the top I’ll sing with it and I’ll be like I don’t want to tell you the whole song so just go to the app download it. It’s completely free. There are no ads. I totally recommend it so you don’t have to get it. Read this review before you get the app. Trust me when you get it. You’re gonna love it just as much as I do get it and trust me, you will not regret not getting it.
Soo Glitchy
This app Litteraly dosent work anymore please fix the bugs, the scrolling is so so glitchy and the pages don’t load in properly. Also the text goes white when it should be black.
Bugs…
I’m using an iPhone 16 pro max. Lately double tapping to make the header and footer disappear is mostly not working. It’s sporadic at best. Also as of late clicking on footnotes in a verse isn’t working. Additionally there can be lag switching between multiple tabs in the app. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. That helps for a while but soon the same bugs come back. If I could take a screen recording and send it to one of your devs that would be great! Thanks,
Accessibility
I am very disappointed with this version because the writing is much smaller than before and being partially sighed I cannot enjoy reading the scriptures or Sunday school lessons. I am upset that whoever designed this site shows very little regard for people with special needs

Glitchy and crashing
I don’t know what happened with the last update but ever since then the app has become very unstable and crashes. Appears to be very glitchy when it does work it takes forever to load.
Full screen - bleh
Please revert back to the conference talk videos not automatically entering full screen when played, it is SO annoying to have it pop up and then have to tell it to go back. If I want it full screen, that should be an option, not the rule. I also don’t like that it doesn’t pop back in, just floats on the screen. The previous way was MUCH better. Also, I’m unable to add bookmarks now, oops. Please fix!!!

Search bar bugs galore
Seems like every update brakes as many things as it fixes. Search bar - on iPhone app, latest app version, latest iOS version on iPhone X - it’s not working or is super slow, when using internet, data or nothing. I’ve even got everything downloaded, all 9.5GB of stuff on my phone and still the search bar is slow or doesn’t work half the time. This has happened before in previous versions/updates. Build a stable app already!

The app is completely perfect but what I do would want is that there would be an option for like the quote of the day to have an option to be displayed like in your wallpaper so lest say you start your phone then you see quote of the day right there to let you start holy.
Bloat, Menu Labyrinth
Everything in one app means bloat and menu mess. Developers please eliminate the plague of menus. Articles’ info should be on the main page, not weirdly hidden in menus. To relieve bloat, begin by separating out the scriptures into their own four separate apps. And separate back out Hymns. Fix ‘Search’ so that it actually works, or don’t have it at all. We implore that all articles have a PDF option. And we plead: stop the practice of using phone volunteers who merely sooth, pacify, placate, and give faux fixes. It insults, frustrates us. Be guided by the Steve Jobs slogan, “Begin with the user in mind.” Developers, think about what that means. I finally deleted this app; developers do not listen to feedback, suggestions, comments, hopes, petitions, concerns that burns.
Highlighted footnotes do not open
The highlighted footnotes no longer open when pressed. Please fix this bug. I can’t search any footnotes right now.
Frustrating search formatting
While there are so many things I love about this app there is one frustrating thing about it that hasn’t changed since it was released and that is the formatting of search results. It’s not effective. When I want to search for a particular phrase or word I want direct results just like lds.org and what’s frustrating is having to navigate my way through the different menus to just see how the searches phrase is being used.

Hey! I love this app and the streak tracking. I had an idea. It would be cool if there was an option to block social media and gaming apps on the phone until one completed a lesson or read a chapter or something. The Duolingo app recently added a feature for this, which gave me the idea. It think it would be a fun way to improve daily consistency for those who were interested!

Disappointed update bookmarks is gone
I was really disappointed to see the update bookmarks was taken away. I don’t know why this would be done. This was a great feature that reflected how I read the scriptures. I keep my bookmarks organized in order so I know specifically where they are. Now I have to create a new one every time and look around for them. This is especially confusing when I read the same books personally and with my children. Overall it is a good app but if I can find a way to downgrade I will.
New update is not very good

Great app but latest update not good.
I use this app a lot. I cannot fault the content, but the latest update has brought its own problem. In the past I could highlight text with a highlighter effect or by underlining, and in a number of colours. I have found this useful for colour coding scriptures and especially usefull in organising lesson notes (I am a Sunday school teacher) but since the latest update, aka can onl orderliness in red and cannot use the highlighter effect at all. Can this be changed as I found it really useful?

Poor audio play.
Very difficult to listen to scriptures. The audio play feature feature used to be easy to use. But now I can find it most of the time. And if I do find it, it does not work like it used to. Very disappointing.

Bug Fix Request
Whenever I use the features where it reads the text out for me, I found it really cool, but sometimes I would close the app or leave the chapter and if I put it back on then it would start back from the beginning, so I would have the choice to either restart the entire chapter, OR try and slowly scroll back to where I was. I’m just writing a request to plz add a update where the recording can skip to a certain verse.

I LOVE that I have all this information at my fingertips!!! 😁😁😁 But I STRUGGLE with the notebook section. 😞The notebooks themselves are currently sorted by most recent, name, & count which is awesome! 👏 😎BUT I wish we could sort with the most recent at the top WITHIN each notebook. It drives me CRAZY having to scroll down every time I want to add a thought to a notebook. 🤪 For example, in my Gen. Conference notebook, I’m still scrolling past Oct 2020 when it’s now June 2026. Thanks! 🙏
Having issues
Since the last update I've had problems with my library and not being able to download any books to it. Not sure if this is just a weird bug I'm experiencing or if others are too.
Doesn't work
I love the app and use it on my iPhone and iPad but recently it doesn't open on my iPad. It says updating gospel library and then turns to a white screen. I would like this to be fixed soon as possible
