I moved to this game from risk. Really active/ cool community. If you play this I would suggest getting a padded toilet seat.
Horrible AI
The ai is op always knows where you are going to attack and stops it dead. I recommend just spending the money to get the actual risk game
AI is broken
I have been playing for a while now off and on and I have noticed that the AI is completely broken on some levels. It always is able to deploy a lot of troops when the game has just started, and it does this even when it starts in areas that don’t have good bonuses. I like a good challenge but this just puts the player at a disadvantage especially when they can’t deploy as many.
Over Run With Ads
Was a great game with a few banner ads. Now it’s overrun with full screen ads every time I want to play a level. I get having an ad every now and then but this is too much.
Problem with ads not going away
I would have said this was one of my most favorite, and frequently played games. In last month or so however the ads that show up before game won’t close. Still able to turn off audio but clicking on the top left corner, but clicking on X in top right corner has no effect and the advertisement is stuck on the screen preventing game play.

So a few high level players basically control the game, if you play with them they order your every move! If you do not listen to them they report you, harass you, berate you, and even hold you hostage until you make the moves they ordered When I reported this I lost my account, for “spamming” The dev is part of the gay boi club Best to just save your time and trouble and play the real risk, not this awful knock off
Awesome political game, but…
I played virtually non stop for a month, then I got bored - or maybe burnt out? FFA games are so boring to me because it’s so analytical and feels repetitive and boringggg. Diplomacy games are really fun, but that’s only because I get to talk to people and play real politics. I wish there were more, but simple, dynamics to diplomacy games!

Banner ad's block the main menu buttons on ios. Unplayable as a result.

I used to enjoy this game till they recently added a currency for it and I just can’t get with it. I preferred the old version that was just get armies every turn.

Barely functions properly, so many text bubbles still do not work and performance is abysmal. Development is at a snails pace, the mod team abuse their power and you do nothing to fix it. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME!

Great game, app has been broken for months
This has been one of my favorite games for years! I love coming back to it periodically and working on the incredibly extensive solo missions or playing a long custom game. Sometime this year, hard to say exactly when, my phone (iphone 13) stopped being able to play this game. Whenever I open the app, the app will freeze immediately (within 3 seconds or so). I love your game, and donated to help you fight the activision lawsuit. I really hope that you are able to fix this issue sometime soon. I'm not sure if it's an iOS thing or a hardware thing or what. Thanks
Better but difficult UI
So the update looks good, and is a big improvement but it’s major flaw is you can’t hide the list of territories when deploying. The list takes up virtually the whole screen on an iPhone and makes it very hard to deploy. Please can you fix it so that you can toggle this lists visibility???

Great to see devs still active
The game after not having tons of popularity (im guessing) after 6+ years of being out, its really nice to see the developers still active with their game. Only reason it’s missing a star is because of the micro transactions in their Idle game mode. You don’t have to buy anything to play and the game is still enjoyable without them. The only thing is they bundles are way too expensive! I’d guess they’d make way more money making a small bundle $1 instead of $10. I’d love to buy some of the bundles, but the in-game value is so mismatched to the price. Out of school promo bundle? Great! $10 for some coins and a membership thing I don’t quite understand? Heck no. In my opinion they should take a page out of Supercell’s book with Clash of Clans. If they offered different price points with higher overall value, I’d totally spend money on this game. In the current moment, I haven’t paid a dime. I’ve been playing this game for years and this has been my only complaint. It’s a fantastic game and their baseline game mode is BETTER than Risk in my opinion. I enjoy the fact that there’s no ‘getting lucky’ on dice rolls when attacking territories. Everyone is on even footing, so it just comes down to strategy. Hope this review has been helpful.

Terrible overall game. Would not suggest, poor mechanics, and a ripoff of Risk. Save your time as this game is extremely pay to win and riddled with advertisements on every other turn.
Crashes
This game is fun, and I’m currently Level 52. But, wvery single time like after getting in multi 4 times, it crashes. Could you please fix this?
Stupid bloody adverts
I don't mind adverts now and again but adverts have ruined this app. Every 5 seconds, the same video pops up over and over again, and you have to hit 'done' on the video to close it. Absolutely infuriating!
Great game
Love this game. Simple to use. Frustrating to play. AI is too powerful, 126 armies against 3 and I lost! Very annoying. But still a good game.
Amazingggg Strategy game.
My brother recommended the game to me so we could play together and it was ADDICTIVE. Its like those bad mobile game ads but the teams is actually insanely good with a loyal fan base too.
Does one thing well and many things poorly
Do you enjoy watching paint dry? Do you abhor the thought of using math or spending any time thinking? If so, Warlight Idle is the game for you! Plus, you get the bonus of getting nagged for in-game purchases for nonsensical items. Is it a holiday? Then you get to be nagged double, because the app developer is just begging for handouts it's Mother's Day? Give me money. Earth Day? Here, buy this. The base game is great, however, despite the 1980s sound effects. Finally, I've struck the rating I have because the developer deals with folks with edgy game names in an unfair manner. Pay him money and you can name yourself whatever offensive name you want. Don't, however, and you're subject to his heavy-handed admin renames.
Nice game
I do love this game but I have a couple of ideas for improvement: 1) I keep getting automatically added to quickmatch games and I don’t know how to stop it! Every time I open the app it tells me I’ve been booted from a game that I never even started 2) Often it becomes obvious that you have won a map but you have to go through the motions of taking over every territory which is so time consuming. Perhaps the AI could surrender to you when you reach, say, 80% map dominance?
Fun game but keeps crashing!
Good game but the offline single player keeps crashing whenever you access the card playing section. Please fix this!

I have recently got the new update, which I guess was supposed to fix the crashing but for maybe my phone specifically it hasn't done anything, I hope you fix this soon :)
Best strategy game I’ve played
Honestly this game is pretty fun, there’s basically no ads and it’s impossible to P2W. The learning curve is strong but once you get the basics you can test out different strategies. Definitely recommend. The idle version app is veryyyy fun too. Great game!
No outright purchase.
The only way to get rid of ads is to “subscribe “! Childish. Deleted.
Best game
I really like that game but sometimes the app just freeze and I need to restart the app and for up to a minute my phone is very laggy, however the ads still move so it’s really the game that freezes and not my phone. Other than that no problems
Crashes after every level
I've never seen my iPhone crash so completely it reset - before trying this app. (iOS 7 up to date, iPhone 5S) The first level resulted in phone reset, then I had to close and reopen the app after each level to see the map for the next level. It's a good game, spoiled by this problem.
Bug ruining great game
Fix the bugs I can't even start a custom game! I love your game on the PC but this Is just to many damn bugs.
Better than Risk
This game is better than the original Risk’s app!
used to be fun, now it is a neverending ad machine
I understand that you need funding, so a few ads are part of the bargain. But now, it is absolutely impossible to deal with your app. There are intrusive—with sound that can’t be disabled—ads avery time you start a game. Every. Single. Time. I have enjoyed your game for some months, and you received some modest revenue from the ads you fed me. No more. I am uninstalling this annoying app now.

This game is brilliant but it crashes at times, if this were to be fixed then I will give it a 5 star.
Same as on PC but not finished
Tried playing single player, and the second level map doesn't load properly preventing you from playing past that point. I gave 2 stars because I still enjoyed the first level but its a pretty poor and unpolished miatake
Small Rant
I like this game but whenever I go to play a card, the screen goes black and the game crashes. I would like this amended in a future update because this never happens on my Samsung Galaxy S4.
Better than any similar game
I bought a similar game a long time ago. It was nice not the mess with the pieces. They removed the game from the store and relaunched it some time later trying to force people to buy again. So happy I found this! It’s better than what I was looking for
Frustrating
The game is okay at best, it constantly piles ads on you and the in game purchases are wildly overpriced. if you get stuck on a map you’re supposed to get a skip but i’ve only gotten one between the two times i’ve downloaded this app. if you want to waste time , fee free to get this. otherwise, skip it for something that has a developer that isn’t greedy
Save function doesn't work
Great game and I would play it more often but the save function isn't working and the game often freezes meaning I have to start a long process again! Please fix??

Good, but improvements needed
Love this game, awesome and fun, just like it was when it was on the computer, but there are a few changes that must be made: -Let me take my turns offline, then have them transmitted to the server once I've done them, it's so annoying when the game lags out when I'm playing and have a bad Internet connection, and I think making it partially offline would be helpful -Fix those bugs which keep making me restart my app, they occur randomly and really decrease the gaming experience, I've seen the 'an error has occurred' screen too many times -Let me take my turns offline, I feel this is important enough to say twice -When my teammate resigns or is kicked, give me his territories and increase my base armies by five and add his armies to mine, that way I won't be screwed when my teammate gets booted for not taking his turn for three days Other than that, awesome game! I highly recommend it to strategy lovers. Btw, if you get this game, take your turn as often as possible, waiting for one guy to take his turn for a day every turn gets annoying :)
Significantly better game than Risk
This is a Risk-like game, but way more enjoyable. No annoying ads between games. Custom community made maps. Come complex mechanics. I love this.
Like all the games in the app store
I am always looking for games that you pay once and your set. The first few maps are easy to play and learn how to play. After playing to level 5, I started to look for the way to eliminate ads, only to find out it is a monthly subscription. I am so glad that I did not start the subscription because not too many stages later the difficulty ramped up and I ran into a situation where I had to surrender. That would have been fine. But that wasn’t the type of escalation I was looking for. All that to say, it would work better for me if there were a number of maps at the 3rd level, a number of different maps at level 4, etc. you pay for a bundle of maps, after you try one in the bundle. So you aren’t getting continuously billed. The game “SLAY” is an example. I am also not planning on playing in a community and realize that is a different experience all together. I did like the format of Making all your plans and then Committing them.
PLEASE FIX IOS 8 BUG
This is a brilliant game especially on the computer but PLEASE FIX THE IOS 8 Bug yes you may have just recently fixed the bug so it doesn't glitch like hell now in this update the war light screen has been zoomed in ALOT and it won't let me scroll when I'm playing a game so: I can't play, can't speak and I'm getting booted out of a load of games I'm currently in Cornwall so I can't play on the computer so I'm getting booted out of a lot of games PLEASE FIX QUICK.
Great game, when it lets you play it.
The lag is unbearable. I'd hardly say that my iPad 2 is out of date, but it takes around 20 seconds for each button press to have an effect. Please sort out all this lag, and perhaps make the game friendlier for the iPad (The keyboard also has lag) And then it'll be at least 5 stars!
Fix the problems
I like the game, but the errors are getting annoying. This game works great on the computer, but when I play it on my ipod, it's so glitchy and annoying. You can't just through a game of the PC onto a bloody phone.
