What people like
- It is super convenient when you are sick
- Doctors are usually kind and listen well
- Great for quick refills and minor issues
What they complain about
- Wait times are often way too long
- Customer support never actually helps with issues
- The app is buggy and keeps crashing
- Therapy service can be a total disaster
This was awesome
Such a pleasant experience. Very quick and direct.
Refused to swap medication
Got prescribed an uncommon medication for my diagnosis, when it didn’t work and I wanted the medication normally prescribed for my diagnosis, they refused.
Long wait / not getting a doctor
Yes
Estimated wait time
Says 30-45 mins but has been over 1.5 hours just be honest on the wait times
Way better than urgent care
Highly recommend for those with a good understanding of medical needs. Children , special needs and elderly should still be seen in person.
Awful
The primary care physicians are great for acute illnesses. I plead with anyone who reads this DO NOT USE THE THERAPY!!!! I attempted twice to get therapy and both times was an absolute disaster. The first therapist went off the rails about politics, name-calling and slurs, and I ended up reporting her and she got terminated…. The second therapist scheduled me for an appointment that I didn’t agree to and after battling them for 30 days, I ended up having to pay $150 missed appointment fee for an appointment that I never scheduled!!!! they did reimburse me and send me a check 30 days later but the point that they admitted fault and I had STILL HAD to pay $150 to keep it from going to affect my credit and going to collections was absolutely ridiculous and predatory. Stay away from the therapy!!!!
Canadian services
For you Canadians there is a service just like this...it is called Medeo. The app is in the App store
They Can’t do anything for you
Signed up about an ear infection, got on a call and they couldn’t proceed the appointment since I didn’t have the proper medical tools to look into my ear at home. They did refund me
The Best!
Greatest app for health care ever created.
Don’t waste your time, I wasted 6
Waited hours “in line” only to be kicked during the 2 min the app was off. Waited another two hours to get connected, the providers service sucked and the call dropped. Still no treatment. Scheduled an appointment and waited for 2 more hours for the Dr to no show me. Dr on Demand sucks. Take your business to Amazon or Teladoc
Not for Australia
I attempted to create an account, entered all my details and it would not let me submit due to my phone number. Even using the correct area code. Please help
Great Visit
One of my best visits since I’ve used doctor on demand
Buggy nightmare app with fake reviews
Trying to schedule urgent Virtual care and this buggy app is not loading. I had another one star review, but apparently it was deleted. The only way this app is rated so highly is they delete and filter out a lot of the unpleasant reviews. Also scheduling urgent care visits for the next available appointment, it will say a 15 minute estimate. I waited for over an hour and did not get moved in queue. I’ve never had this issue with Teladoc so I’ll be moving my services there as this platform is unreliable, especially if you have anything urgent you need assist with. This app sometimes works, but it’s buggy and slow.
Okay but
Ok but not Much UK support. Can't even enter my address.
Fantastic Service!
I am new to seeing a PCP via an online service but what a Godsend it is. It’s so difficult in my area to find a provider that is accepting new patients, and this is a great way to be taken care of until my new PCP is able to get me in 4 months from now. I was able to discuss any issues, get refills in my prescriptions and got a bloodwork order. All the bases are covered. At no point did I feel rushed. She was kind, caring, and so helpful. This is a fantastic way at to fill gaps in our healthcare system and I hope it only continues to grow. Thank you!
App itself is good. Team supporting the company is disappointing
My dr ordered standard lab tests and when I showed up to the facility the lab never received them . I had to the contact support number and when I did this they assured me the lab would receive. When I showed up again the lab didn’t have my orders . I contacted this company a third time , and then contacted the lab directly because at this point I didn’t trust dr. On demand to get the job done . The lab told me it was missing a requisition for the order ( which is standard practice when sending orders for labs ) my experience with the 6+ different customer support agents with dr on demand was disappointing. Maybe they are outsourcing too much of the work- or maybe I’m speaking with ai .
Great Provider
The doctor was very attentive to my needs. Listened to my concerns and was able to help immediately. Highly recommend!
App doesn’t load properly
App doesn’t completely refresh, the main button/ links constantly refresh and unable to connect. So unable to access any service. The help message tool is AI , so that works as well as expected- it doesn’t
I love the time we live in
I’ll not leave my bed after not feeling so well. Turn on my phone and receive immediate attention. This is the best I love it.
Service has dramatically changed
I have been a loyal and happy user of Dr on Demand for years. However, recent appointments were lacking. They seem to have been acquired by another corporation and the level of healthcare is minimal. The final straw was this weekend when I logged in for care. Was told it was a 45-60 minute wait. 90 minutes later I had not been seen and the time was not progressing. Mutiple calls to customer service resulted in only “the app must be down.” I was told I had to wait until the next day to be seen. When I was finally seen, the care provider was dismissive and offered no real care. Beyond frustrating experience. I recommend users find another service. Don’t be fooled by the high rating. All of the previous good years have averaged them up. They don’t deserve a 4.9 anymore.
Thank
Thank
The worst possible customer support
This app would be great if customer support was even a thing. I’ve been overcharged 3 times now and never has anyone helped. I am currently on day 30 of “we will let you know in 7-14 days”. Convenience is great but the service is just so god awful
Bi-polar 2
Dr was excellent and knowledgeable.
Trash
Spent 3 minutes on the phone for Dr to Google and tell me things I said in the intake and couldn’t provide help.
Great service!
App worked seamlessly, provider was kind, and thorough!
Terrible
Wow this country really has it messed up when you have to rely on services like this working for Walmart who is a billion dollar company can’t even pay us correctly let alone give us proper health care.
