What people like
- Clean interface without tabloid nonsense
- Easy to pick your own topics and sources
- News summaries are short and to the point
What they complain about
- Loading news takes way too long
- Videos make the app crash constantly
- Articles often lack pictures when you read them
- No easy way to send feedback or report bugs
I recommend
The power of Google News without the privacy issues and tabloid nonsense. This is the only news app I need. Thanks dev!!
Gone downhill
Sept 2024: this App continues to go downhill. Articles open but embedded videos start autoplaying (no settings available to disable this) and if you hit X to close the video the entire app crashes. July 2024. This app use to be good. Past few weeks each article is just a list of links and when I click on them they disappear. Will be deleting the whole app.

Pls update your app now that iOS is updated and the app no longer works
Daily news is useless, delete it
This app used to be ok, but is now unusable. Unsolicited video intrusion. Delete it
Simple and easy. Exactly what I want
Very well organised and useful. The only issue I've found has to do with videos not playing. Besides that it's brilliant. Would be great if there was a feature to report bugs and suggest changes! I’ve got heaps of ideas but nowhere to put them!
속도
너어어어어어어무 레이턴시가 심하네요;;;;;;

Great App
Had this for over a year then updated my iPad. Thought I’d lost it, but thankfully, it’s back and better than before....

New Daily offers a new easy access to news
Bruce Guthrie introduced me to your newspaper at our U3A meeting a few days ago. So here are my immediate thoughts about your New Daily that come to mind. 1/ Easy quick access to the news that appeals to the reader. 2/ nice “modern feel” presentation. 3/ Regular news updates keep me abreast with the very latest in what and where news is happening. Happy to recommend New Daily to all my family and friends. Finally, Bruce gave everyone a fabulous insight into the news industry, and we thank him most sincerely for a most memorable presentation. Kind regards, Barry Levy
Just what I wanted
I wanted something to replace Sources but I didn't want a news reader or an rss. I wanted to be able to put in my own topics like I could before and this does just that. Very happy with this app.
왜 19년도 11월기사가 지금인 21년 2월 메인에 뜨는거죠..? 중고 아이폰 가격 급락 이거 아이폰11나왔을때 기사인데..; 기사 추천하는 ai의 신뢰성이 떨어지네요... 그리고 앱내에 피드백 받는 것도 없어서 여기다 쓰게되네요 ㅋㅋ 좀 허접한듯....;
Excellent organised news service
Thanks for this. TC

Ok
Good app. Can be slow to change need items at times
Good seemingly independent news feed
Would be better if it didn't link to any subscription only stories. Also if the user could screen sources to avoid certain media groups.
Good for free app

Excellent
I use this app twice a day for all my news. It's the best news app.
Disappointed
I've had this app for a while now, and have been tempted to delete it until now - today is the day it goes.. Pictures with articles - why is this so hard? You put a pic with the short version yet every time I click to read more, NO PICS. Why?? Also, you seem to be on serious time delay - the app updates so rarely in a 24 hr period, I end up closing it in frustration. Positives? The text is succinct and to the point but often, the first paragraph is repeated 2, maybe 3 times. What with that?? There are other more up to date contented apps out there.
Good coverage
News coverage made simple
President Trump
So much anti Trump fake news and not enough of the positive work he has done for the USA
Great and no subscription fee
Perfect for my needs.
Easy to use
Straightforward setup, easy to add subjects, good range of sources.
Great Update!!!!
Love this app. Keep up the great work.
Terrible
News available when I want it, wherever I am in my iPhone but heaps of grammatical errors and news aren't proofread I reckon. News just end suddenly. I also need to be able to zoom photos which the app doesn't feature
Daily news.
Never miss a day since I discovered it, informative and doesn't limit my viewing unlike some e-media apps.
Bit disappointing
Can't watch video!
