Tv times
Payment taken but magazine not received
Awful app
I had this app for a few years as it’s difficult too get hold of a paper copy of TV Times. I had so many problems every week trying to download it that I ended my subscription and got my copies from another app where I experienced no problems. This app has recently been sold and no longer works in my region. So I thought I’d give the TV Times app another try in the hope the app had been fixed. No such luck in fact it’s even worse! Sadly I will now have to resort to alternative tv guides. SORT THIS OUT TV TIMES!!
Nightmare
I have been using this app as I cannot get out for the magazine. Even though mu subscription is up to date every time a free trial is offered I am unable to download the new magazine. Repeatedly following the steps set out in the help section I am still unable to asset the magazine. Seems I will have to cancel.
Keep getting locked out
Poor app as even though I can sign in it has stopped letting me download. Just purchase or take out a subscription.
Access to the App
Every week I have problems downloading the TV Times magazine. Please fix the problem. I continue paying for this weekly mag but in the last few weeks it’s gone pear-shaped. You have proved you are incapable of fixing this so I have told you to cancel my subscription. To reiterate - I’m paying for something and have been doing so for months but have been unable to download it do to a problem of your making. So you owe me about 6 months of payments
Fabulous TV magazine
I have been buying TV Times for over 40 years, always been my favourite, love the way tv pages are laid out and interesting articles. Usually buy every week but as it is difficult to get out and get it at the moment while we are all self isolating, decided to do a subscription, for the time being at least so that I don’t miss it. Thank you TV Times.
Price jump.
This has been my go to tv guide for more years than I can count, first in physical and then digital. Unfortunately the astronomical price increase from £3.99 per month to £7.99 means it’s no longer affordable. I’ll be cancelling asap.
Really handy!
Really handy to have my TV times with me when I am travelling. It takes a while to download each issue, but, once loaded, it is easy to use and really clear. It would be good to have automatic bookmarks to find specific days as it can take a while to find the end of the week.
Could be better
I have to say I only but TV guides at Christmas so thought I would go for the iPad version this year. I thought it would be at least able to highlight programmes I want to watch if not get more interactive ness like at the end a sortable list of all highlighted programs to enable assistance when setting the record on your chosen tv box but no unless I am missing something it is not as good as the paper version and I am likely to spend the money once again :(
Has it gone wrong?
Worked fine in November. Next time I used it was 25th Dec and I could not get it to move forward without closing it down. There must be a better way.
Telly
Easy to read and very clear
Unreliable.
Despite having a current subscription, I still get asked to pay for the current copy. If I delete the App and reinstate it, the subscription reactivates sometimes other times I have to ‘fight’ with it. Very annoying
Not bad at all.
The only complaint here is that it can take awhile to load. A part from that it's as good as the printed version.
Poor
Takes too long to load Not easy to navigate Better using other apps like On Air to find programmes quickly
OK !
This app is ok and gives you everything you get in the paper version but it take to long to load the pages which is a pain.
Tv times
After months of perfect service in last 2 days app will not open, starts to open then closes down. Any reason?
Wont Open
Keeps jamming on the opening splash screen. All you get to see is the TVTimes logo and it wont let you see the magazine you paid for. Rip off.
Double spread pages a pain on ipad
As above otherwise ok.
Brilliant
App fantastic always got it with me
Appalling system
Out of focus most of the time. hard-to down load, had to pay twice to get. Terrible app
Tv times
It's brilliant
Free trial
It shows a 30 day free trial is available but there are options to pay for a month or a year, nothing about a trial.
TV Times Magazine
This is a great App when it is working properly. It us usually pretty reliable, keep on top of any issues with being able to use it, downloading magazines and being able to read the magazine. Also please could it be made possible for people to be able to be able to mark any particular programs they want to watch on the magazines. This way viewings can be planned in advance. It is very handy to be able to read the magazine on my iPhone as well as on my iPad so that I can read it wherever I am.
Parson's Egg
The authors seem to think it is okay to force you to write a stupid review.
Ms
Love it. Can read any time anywhere
Great magazine terrible app
I have read the TV Times since I was a child. The magazine is great but this app is terrible. It's really just a PDF of the magazine. It takes ages to download and difficult to read on an iPhone. Come on TV Times! This app should not just be a copy of the magazine for the price you charge. Check the metro newspaper app. It's brilliant and so easy to read and navigate.
Love it!
Great magazine
Awful
This app is a rip off, free to buy but to view each week you have to pay £1.49!
Great magazine.
Great magazine.
