Helpful to me
I get the paper at home, but I am often not at home to read it. So this is helpful when I am away from home, or just haven't yet had time to wade through the paper copy. I also like the opinion page and breadth of coverage.
Horrible UI Excessive Popups Glitches
Title says it all I don’t understand why this app is so antiquated and buggy and useless (for me that is).
News press interferes with iPhone web pages
When I attempt to view many web pages a banner for News Press is placed over the top part on the page I want to view. There is an "x" on the news press banner but it does not get rid of the annoying and unwanted banner
Very liberal news but good coverage
The online version is a pleasure to read every day. If you can weed through the leftist part of the articles, the rest is good reading. DO NOT TRY TO CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE. They do not speak English, and have no idea what service means.
Sports more needed
Need more sports of ACC basketball and football and Big ten plus other conferences
E-Newspaper
Being away from home the E-Newspaper is a great way to keep up with the local news. Easy to access and read.

i subscribe to 4 newspapers and Gannet’s interface is the worst BY FAR. I also pay for home delivery. I would like to pause delivery but is there a mechanism to do this ANYWHERE on the app.? Apparently not. So, I will have to waste my time calling their 800 number during whenever their office hours are. I can barely contain my disbelief.

Set it up more like reading the paper
Don’t like the set up. Eliminated things like obituaries. Important news should be on front few pages. Not sure the e paper is worth it

For the most part I really enjoy reading the paper on my iPad...only downside is some items are repetitive...business, taste, and life are often not updated every day...got tired of the real paper because of all the ads...

The news press Fort Myers print edition
Can’t get print edition only e-edition. What happened to my print edition??? 👎
Poor layout today.
Again today, technical issues. The e-newspaper layout not available apparently. The “ up and down” system issues with this paper are quite frustrating. And the price just keeps going up and up. My husband wants to unsubscribe, but so far I’m holding him off, as I enjoy reading the e- paper when it’s available. N J Pearson

When changing to next page.... it should take you to the top of the next page!!! Annoying to constantly have to scroll back up to begin at top of page!
Variety of things
Current local, regional and international news. Great sports coverage, including TV schedules for all sports in the Sport section. Lots of great puzzles. Recyclable!
Not worth money
I got 6 months for a dollar and it’s not even worth that. There isn’t much local coverage and most of it is syndicated fluff from Gannett.
The best source of local information
I was a paper subscriber for years to the News-Press and when the digital world took over, I stopped. Recently purchased online subscription and am extremely pleased with format and relevant content.
App
The app has changed directions that it will open up a page. It used to be landscape which made easier to read & adjust. Now it’s portrait- the print is smaller & it doesn’t expand as easily. Maybe I’m missing something. Help!
Hard to navigate
I’m trying to look at the universal papers but can’t get it on my iPhone. I have no trouble on my laptop. Not user friendly
Good coverage for all interests
I like the coverage except it lacks coverage for my ND sports. I read it online every morning and most days work 5 of the puzzle games.
Difficult to use
I have to delete the app and reload it every time I use it. I am a subscriber and only want to read the Ft Myers News Press and print the crossword puzzle. What was wrong with the old app?
Size of page
I used to open to the front page and it was full screen. Doesn’t do that anymore. The size was perfect for vision impaired people like me.

I have been getting the News Press in some form or another for over 30 years. The digital form is convenient, mobile and is helping save trees! The News Press keeps me in the know locally and globally. The price is amazing! Support honest and truthful journalism ! I highly recommend this subscription!

The News-Press is the first thing I read in the morning. I can skim articles that I don’t want to read and read articles that grab my attention. Always love to read “letters to the editor”.

Great way to read paper
App seems to work well and is quick and responsive. Sometimes I end up opening an article when I am trying to move to next page, but otherwise works well. Ads that must be closed at beginning of each section are slightly annoying, but can be closed quickly.

Technology and Senior Citizens
I am 88 years old and just want to read the newspaper. However, your system is so complicated that is not possible. I am beginning to wonder if the aggravation and expense is worth it. Your technology staff has little understanding of Seniors. How sad.
