I love how you can save when using the DG coupon
Sucky
Why does the app take days to show what you bought in store? If your trying to take something back and need to use the app as a receipt you can't because it takes days for transactions to appear on app. Plus on Saturdays when most people use it, it glitches. Won't show prices and makes you log in each time you open app.also you will qualify for p&g offers and be charged a penny but will never get the coupon on the app.
Awesome-when it works properly
Even after the latest update 1 week ago, this app frequently gets hung up, gets stuck in a loop, or returns to the sign in page and stops functioning. So frustrating, because otherwise it’s great!
Dollar Store App
The app is not user friendly. I can see all the items on sale but then can’t find the coupons. Was just using this weeks add I received in the mail. Got on the app and can not find the freeze coupon!!

This is the worse app. It log you out every 5secs and then when you create a new account because you no longer have access to an old email address, it won’t let you because you still have the same phone number
Love the coupons
They need to make it easier to clip coupons. It would be great to have one button to clip all coupons.
Verification
They must not want people to actually use this app. I can’t get it to even verify my number. I can’t get it to go back. Then when verification text finally comes through. It was 15 minutes later I had already closed the app and had to start over. Not worth the time or aggravation.
Problems with search in the app
I’m so frustrated with the GG App. Every time I search for something it shows everything but what I searched for. I do like the QR code reader for checking prices. . But the app isn’t user friendly. I searched for French Fries and it showed me a pizza and a can of Frenche’s French fried onions. That’s not a bag of French fries. I’m seriously considering deleting the app. Well that’s all .I’m really tired of of trying to use this app. I don’t drive so I depend on apps when looking for what I need so I can get my list to give to my friend so she can get my groceries. Please figure out the problem so I can use the app. If it’s me and maybe the way I’m putting the items, please let me know. Thanks

I just love the app it’s so easy to clip your coupons. Then add them to your list for easy shopping. The app also shows your total before you buy the items.
Fix coupons
Dollar General system takes the lowest coupon first. App auto clips coupons and you can’t unclip them so you can use the coupon you actually want to use.
Bait and Switch
I constantly have prices higher in store, coupons that are clipped and shown on my list do not appear at registers. Employees say this happens frequently with everyone and they have no ability to “adjust” prices to match the sales promotions… I have been told this is your bait and switch tactic because you are aware of the issue but it’s a solid income revenue for YOU.

Have been unable to sign on for days. Tried changing password, reloading app and reloading service. Continue to be unable to sign on. Because of this I can not access the coupons!

DG Store deals Don’t always work
I have been using the in store and digital coupons for a while although I always end up with at least one issue in the checkout. I always read the terms, deal limits, and scan items for verification on the app. While most other deals are clipped, not all DG store deals are actually placed into the system (and yes I make sure not to stack them with another DG store one). Even some cashiers tried to help make sure through buying things with their app and the same coupon didn’t work either. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve gotten good deals through this app, I would just hope that the systems would be updated better because prices should ideally be as advertised.

The app shows things in stock that aren’t. I can’t tell you how many times I have drove to get something that they showed to have for ur to be no where in the store.

Corporate failure
Yet again, I am dismayed when I shopped at the store while the staff was very pleasant they worked very hard and the service was excellent. They had to deal with upset customers because the store was in terrible condition. The bathroom was out of order for absolutely no reason it should have been maintained properly. This is an issue corporate should have in place a good maintenance system that would’ve immediately sent out servicemen to fix this problem and the lack of Internet service is an issue with every store customers who shop this store are unable to take advantage of the many sales and the website the coupon system rarely works for the customers because they’re unable to click on the barcode in order to save money come on corporate you can do much better than this. It’s bad enough you installed the self service check outs and let them just sit there now unused ! You should have kept them in service and instead hired one person to supervise the the area like Walmart does. They would be a wonderful feature. There are a lot of good customers that would save a lot of time by self checking out when the lines are long. Those lines make many of us late for church, events, work and others such important things again corporate get on the ball here.Please take care of your customers by stepping your efforts. You can definitely do better!!

I ordered my items at 8:00 pm and it said it’s gonna come within an hour. I waited an hour and then it never showed up and then I waited two hours and then the store was closed. I had to cancel it. Still didn’t get my stuff if I could rate this zero stars I would
