What people like
- Great podcasts with honest opinions
- Reliable for out-of-state fans
- Comprehensive Ohio State football coverage
What they complain about
- App often crashes or stops working
- Recent updates broke the user interface
- Too much basketball news included
Steven, Doug and Nathan balance each other very well.
I love the Buckeye talk pod the best….no matter the time of day I’ll get the true view instead of the fan speak I here on other pods. The explains every facet of the Buckeyes and break it down completely in their articles. Glad I found them before the Covid times…
Pay a fee
Used to get all my OSU football info here. Now, you have to pay a subscription fee to access anything.

I loved the app until the latest update. Now the most recent articles are all over the place and I can’t browse the most recents easily. There also seems to be less content.

Too many typos and poor writing. Stop being lazy and posting videos.
Too many typos and poor writing! Stop being lazy posting videos. Do the work and post quality articles. Also, I signed up for OSU football articles, stop with the basketball and other articles.
OSU Football
I feel that there is too much basketball. Maybe it should be OSU sports. If it is OSU football then how about 70 - 75% football and the rest whatever is worth reporting.
Love it
Love hearing all the latest news about my Buckeyes.
Rarely Works
Rarely updates or has stories at all. Used to be great...now, useless.

OSU Football
This application is the best for Ohio state football but it still lacks more football news of opponents and accomplishments of Ohio state players in the NFL. I would rate rate 4 of 5
Great app for a greater newspaper
I been using this app for over 3 years. It has never failed to live up to exIpectations. The Plain Dealer is Ohio's greatest newspaper and they have proved it time and time again. Their app is no different. I have news about my beloved Buckeyes at the touch of a fingertip. No bugs, no crashes, no buffering. For this I am informed and grateful. Thank you Plain Dealer.
Doug — Your Mobile App is down!
Doug: You write great stuff about Buckeye football and your podcasts rock. But hey, your mobile app has been down/ Non-functional since posting the “Angry Underdogs” podcast a week ago. Put the Geek Squad on it!! We need the Buckeye App back! Henry — Ohio transplant to Minnesota
