Great
Great app, we really enjoy it
Trash app
Too laggy and needs a lot of storage
Hate the new update
I paid for a yearly for just this study cat because this was the only one you could choose a specific game and level but now it’s changed to be like the other ones and he hates it.
Can be so much better
Not sure why they choice someone who can not speak mandarin to teach children mandarin! They female speaks so bad basically make mistakes every single game. Any word involves z,zh,c, ch, in,ing, she gets wrong! No writing practice and much of pinyin which is the very first step of mandarin speaking! That’s quite disappointing. Very basic, my 3 years old likes to play with the game but he learns fast and then so running out of words to learn. But the game is well designed otherwise, they are fun. All in all, good designed game but unfortunately they do the basic very poorly for a game charging so much.
Fun games but bad pronounciations
My children like the new update for the adventure mode of the games, but they really should provide an option for better pronunciations. I prefer my children to learn Beijing accent instead of Taiwanese because the speakers can’t distinguish between z and zh, c and ch, etc. Also, most Chinese people can’t understand many words Taiwanese use like how they call Pineapple, donut, cheese, kiwifruit, pizza, etc. They use different words. Majority of Chinese don’t talk that way. I understand Taiwanese people may want their kids to keep their own accent, but most of us are not from Taiwan. At least give us another option to choose the Beijing accent. It’s like when non-English speakers learn English, they shouldn’t learn their pronunciations from people with strong Scottish accent unless if they live in Scotland. It’s frustrating I had to keep correcting my children her pronunciations and which words she should say instead.
It’s a fun app
It’s very interactive and fun for little children to learn Chinese.
Trial bugs
Could not exit the trial screen 🤷🏻
Cool
Should spell out and have Chinese characters Though
unable to access new content after subscription
hi, I am unable to access new content after I started my subscription. Can you advise?

Learn Chinese 🇨🇳
I love (♥ω♥) school
I Hate the new version with its awful adventure mode. HATE IT.
My kids have always loved learning Chinese on this app with the little sections of little games they could choose from and play. We bought the entire app back when you could do that with a single purchase. And then they turned it into this stupid subscription mode- which I mean I don’t even pay for Netflix - I’m not going to pay a monthly charge just so my kids can play a game. But we still had all the games we’d purchased from before at least; we just couldn’t access the new ones. BUT NOW? This incomprehensible adventure mode is THE WORST thing I’ve ever seen in any kids app Ever. Let alone as a replacement for the games we used to love so much? NO. If you want to make a new app fine, but don’t COMPLETELY change the OLD ONE.BRING BACK THE OLD FORMAT.

Needs More Content
I like the game but the other games like Fun Spanish have more stuff. Please can you make an update with more stuff. If this game had more stuff I would give it a four out of five, but right now it only gets a two in my opinion.
A few lessons to learn
There are just only 3 levels to learn and this is why it’s way too expensive compared to what we got. My son only play 2-3 months (not everyday) and finish them all. Why we need to pay for whole year.
Great for Chinese
This app is great for adult or child beginners in Chinese who aren’t ready to read yet
Recent update is terrible, please bring back the old version!
Why did you get rid of the exercises where you record the person saying the word and play it back? That was the part that helped my kids learn the most! Also, in the food section, why were rice, egg, and bread replaced with pizza, hot dog, and donut? These are purely American foods. Why would they need to use these words in Chinese?
Great game, needs to be more motivating though
Would be nice if they included an element for earning points or surprise prizes to motivate children. Pronunciation of certain words could be better. Also to add in hanyu pinyin as an option.
Tons of games but speakers have accented mandarin
Cute game but the devs used speakers with accented mandarin im guessing taiwanese accents? Please get new voice actors.
I am so happy
I made me a third grade I’m not having too much fun my Chinese teacher shut sē lāo
Not worth the subscription
There isn’t a lot of content
A bit expensive-
Cute, fun, engaging. Wish there were more subjects and basic sentences for the high price.
Mistake on clothes game
There are two mistakes, the Chinese speaking on “ CLOTHES “ game. First it should be ”T-SHIRT” instead of “SHIRT”. Second it should be ”OVERCOAT” not “JACKET”. Hopefully it can be correct.
A cut above
Such a great exucation tool. My kids adore and request it!
Love it
Hello! I’m 5 years old and I love it so much! Thank you for helping me learn Chinese in such a fun way!
It’s great 👍🏻
It’s good but some of them don’t really teach you to learn Chinese.
Fun for kids
My kids both love this game. They are 3 and 6 years old. We are not fluent speakers in Chinese, but we have been working with a private tutor. This is a great game for the kids to hear Chinese and practice their skills! We have been using it for over a year with our eldest. The youngest has been playing for several months.
Great
So I’m an adult wanting to learn and this app is great. Games are fun but its yearly cost is not much. As a beginner this is perfect.
Colors Only
The free version is pretty useless. A few games on learning colors and nothing else. Don’t download.
Nice but too easy
Everything is great about this app it’s just that it is way too easy. And I would like for it to have more levels/games. I would also like for it to be harder and make the paying less. Please respond
Easy to learn
It is a good app for kid...
Studycat
Studycat is amazing!
Horrible Pronunciation
There pronunciation has strong Western accent, can’t they get a native speaker to do the app????
FUN CHINESE
I think the app is great I actually think you have more fun then you actually learn witch is good because when your having fun you also learn
eee
very bad just kidding
Study is good
It is fun
Stupid
This game is for kids to learn but they barely learn anyway so why did you make this game
More modules would make this great
Only let down is that there aren’t enough modules — please add more when you can:) its great!
Upgrades dont work across all devices
Lots of fun activities to reinforce the words and my daughter enjoys it. However I bought and unlocked the extra modules on my iPad, but can not access these on my iPhone (they remain locked even though i paid for them) and there is no way to contact developers to fix these. Please fix.
Everyone’s learning
And their Childs are learning. It’s great for a child for learning Chinese.
Dupes you to buy more but it’s same
Not sure why or how it happened but it prompted us to purchase more packet, so thinking it would be giving us new material we did and it’s the same app?! Not happy.
Fun Learning Tool
A fun interactive learning tool even for adults and not only kids.
Soundless
I love your game but even with my volume up no sound comes! Please help.
