Early
I enjoy the e newspaper during the early mornings. 3 or 4 am. . My most enjoyed feature is being able to listen to the news as I shave and walk a mile. . Thank you for this feature. . Please give coverage to Cruising The Coast. . AL Moore ……. Laurel, Ms
Terrible
Some things ought to be simple. I had to replace my credit card with a new one, new CC# and all (fraud thing) and therefore needed to update my subscription so it could be auto paid each month with the new card #. I can’t find anywhere closely resembling how to do it. If it’s here, good luck finding it.
Great but…
Too many ads!
No tv section!
I always used the Sports Section to see the tv station section so I would know all the games being shown and the channels to look for them on guess I’ll have to cancel!
New App
I do not like the new app for the CL.
Audio
We enjoy the iPhone reading for us because it speeds the morning’s routine.
New format
Do NOT like the new format! Please bring back the one that looks like a newspaper. Going to cancel it if it stays like the new format!
Changes to the CL
Your reporting has greatly improved over the last few years. I know it would be a great leap, but there are things I miss: 1. A daily editorial page including letters to the editor, and an editorial staff who tries to hit it right down the middle, unlike Mississippi Today which is obviously far to the left, and Mississippi Tribune which in my opinion skews to the right though not as severe as the other swerving. 2. ANY Sports coverage of our community colleges. 3. ANY sports coverage for Alcorn State, Delta State, Mississippi Valley State, MUW, Mississippi College, Millsaps, and Belhaven. It really boggles my mind that nothing is ever mentioned about the last three that are in your backyard. I still consider the CL to be the flagship newspaper of Mississippi, and truly believe your paper could draw the readership with the broader content listed.
New Digital Format
I HATE!!!!! this new format. It is Not user friendly at all. If I want to read an article that was sent as a notification it doesn’t open that article it gives me a whole page that I have to hunt for the article and this morning the article wasn’t there. HATE IT!!!!! Fix this!!
Adequate.
Barely
Trust is important
When I was a young teenager growing up in Mississippi reading the Clarion Ledger was a must do in my homes. After a thirty year absence from Mississippi, I was gave to pick up a familiar news source. Truth in reporting accurately is important at any age.
Terrible
Can't activate e-newspaper
Easy to use
I’ve been an E subscriber for about three years. I choose the layout that is like the old-fashioned newspaper. Would have given five stars, except for two issues. 1) share feature doesn’t always work. I tap on the article and it should turn pink and then I can email or message or otherwise send it. It just won’t copy. 2)Once in a while, the current edition is not available at 5 AM in the morning.
Overall D+
Technology does not seem to be of interest or concern to CL. This new app could never be called user friendly. This app is pitiful! The old app was slow and had to reset after changing sections. But it beat the devil out of this thing you have now. Headlines and National news; sports, including an occasional article on Mississippi State athletics; politics; the puzzles, not a challenging request. I will see if I can get the old app to reactivate.
It’s OK
The reader is much improved, but the comics still are difficult to read. I would like a place for letters to the editor, and I’d like more around the state of Mississippi news.
New
We are new to the CL. We moved from TampaBay area in Florida to Oxford Ms. 2.5 yrs. Ago. We been trying to find a newspaper to read, then we found the CL. We like the paper a lot. LT
CL
Too difficult and time consuming! When you hit the back arrow it starts from the beginning. Example, jobs, at the top is Jackson in the search box is Madison, you have to change it (retype) your city every time I wanted to search Brandon. After looking at an entry it defaulted to Madison and I had to start all over 😔
Old App Better
The new app is much more difficult to navigate. I read TCL on a 10.5” iPad and trying to spread articles to make the print readable is really frustrating. App has improved but still work to do.
Cannot print story from app
Same
Day late news
I’m in central Mississippi. I can’t figure out why I seeing Memphis and other Tennessee issues in the Sunday Perspective section. Every sports article is either about a future event or was played 2 days earlier. Never any box scores.
Clarion Ledger
Often freezes up.like now!😝
Clunky
The navigation on this app is so clunky it is ridiculous!
Jannifer
Great newspaper
Ads
The ads are so irritating!! I’m paying for the subscription and each section gets a new popup, along with a bar across the bottom that has to be closed. It’s constant interruptions.
Hard to use
I compare this app to The Advocate, Baton Rouge, and its related editions. All are very easy to move between and to see their pages without hassle. Check them out, it will be faster than trying to tell you.
Good Read
I grew up reading a real newspaper. I find thee newspaper just as good as reading the paper copy years ago!

Great
Great
Very little news
An occasional newsworthy story, too much sports and only for two of the three big state universities. Best baseball program in the state gets no coverage.
Awful
Poor!!!!~
Early riser
Enjoy eNewspaper! Very well done.
Unnecessary work
I have been a paying member of this aper for many years but every once in awhile I have to sign in to read. Takes forever to get this done. I just want to touch app and start reading. William Lance Greer
Phone app
Many sections when I click on them Such as editorials columnist Iam not able to proceed box pops up saying unavailable at this time
Print Journalism
It may be on life support, but there’s nothing more nostalgic than reading the newspaper.
Terrible
Horrible. I want to just see the “paper”
Good
The App Store finds what I need.
Clarion ledger App
Cannot access after 50 tries. Horrible access. Paid and cannot access.
