Easy to use
Very good and convenient
Poor UI
Better than nothing, but the UI is poor, especially when it comes to payments, which is arguably the most important part of the app. The bank account verification process is extremely confusing. For some reason, the verification pop-up does not appear from the automatic payment screen; you can only complete the verification by going to Payment Accounts through the menu bar. Even after getting that far, there is a bug in the amount field that prevents you from entering an amount with two or more digits. I finally managed to complete the setup only by typing the amount elsewhere with two extra zeros added and then copying and pasting it into the field. It’s hard to believe this app has gone through proper user testing.
Very very convenient
All issues are addresses promptly.
Auto pay
The autopay is very annoying and doesn’t work !!! It’s gives me the error “ enter start date” when I already did a million times!!! Now I have to pay an extra fee when I pay rent.
Pictures selection
The app is good , but if you add an option to select more pictures at once to attach them. Now it seems it’s not possible and clients need to choose pictures one by one.

The app works, but it works as well as any app did 10 years ago. There is no option to set up a passkey like Face ID or touch ID, the two factor authentication does not auto fill requiring unnecessary steps, and the ability to change accounts or delete is next to impossible, and their customer service is unresponsive. It is like they created the app in 2015 and then completely forgot about it.

Next to 0 functionality
App simply doesn’t work. Whether that’s our landlords fault or rent cafe is another question. We are told we can submit maintenance requests through the app yet there is no option for it. Either clueless landlords or poorly designed app. I’m sure some of both.

Clunky and not user friendly
1.Impossible to get building notices as push notifications. I have them turned on- nope, not working. 2.The bulletin board should have a photo function. Most people use it for giveaways or selling items- previous apps I’ve used have this- so why not Yardi, the ‘gold standard’ property management software. Oh- they do make it easy to pay your rent and submit maintenance requests . But that’s about all this has going for it. There are much better renter apps out there.
Face ID removed from latest app update
Face ID support was removed in latest app update making it take longer to actually login to the app

So far—useless
On the desktop I can sign in but get an error message when I try to go to my account. On the app I can’t even sign into the account. Pretty useless at this time.
Paying is difficult.
Can’t use bank option we moved apartments to across hall and had to pay the to expensive fee for using debit . Don’t like that . There was a mess up and our bank accounts need to be verified again. No option to remove a bank account if you messed up and entered wrong account number.

The repair was very good
Sometimes it works.
I used this app to pay my rent for 2 years and then suddenly it stopped recognizing my email or username. My rental management couldnt help or fix the probelm and I was stuck having to get on a computer and manually pay that way for about a year. It seems to have worked itself out now but it was very inconvenient for some time, especially when it first happened and I was late on my payment because of it. When it works, its great.

If payments don’t process, what is the point
At this point, I’d rather write a cheque and walk it to the office just so your app isn’t used. Full payment processed and my property management company didn’t receive it for over 7 days. Processed another payment, received confirmation, also deducted from my rentcafe account. I still have my money.

I am extremly disappointed. Because of system issues and constant complications, I was left feeling frustrated and stressed. On top of that, I was charged for late fees even though the funds were withdrawn from my bank account. I would choose 0/5 stars, because instead of making payments easier, it makes it more difficult.
