Solid game with good variety
I absolutely love it, it does make me miss the Golf variant of the game. Still solid though.
Game has become a cash wall
This game used to be amazing it was engaging, fun and challenging without requiring a person have to pay to win. In the past year this has completely turned around. Where you used to be able use lucky card draws to obtain set pieces and rods it now only offers item designs. Upgrading and awaking gear has become a pay gate as the mats an requirements have been changed intentionally force players to pay real money. They are sadly running this game into the ground unless your pay to win and that strat won’t benefit anyone for long. I’d advise passing on this game

Could be fun
Game is overloaded with things to keep track of and to manage/purchase. Not to mention, you unlock things as you progress as you level and they’re nowhere to be found in your inventory or mailbox. It’s a conundrum of imbalance. It could be fun if it was balanced and easier to manage, but it’s so weighed down that there is just no way when there are way better alternatives on the App Store.

I’ve been waiting for like 10 years for that intro song! Every now and then I’ll think about it and would try to find videos on yt of the intro with 0 luck. I logged backed in after a few months break only to hear that intro I once heard when I was around 12-13. Thank you so much !
Outdated
This game is hilariously outdated. Like 10 years outdated. It’s exactly the same as how it was when I first played it many many many years ago. They should do an overhaul on the graphics instead of just changing the name from Fishing Superstar to Fishing Master lol
Great Game; Two Concerns
I've been playing this game for a while (a few years), and this is still my favorite fishing game. It's fun, can present quite a challenge, has great gameplay and graphics, and there's lots to unlock. I do have two concerns that I would like to be addressed: 1. Lack of cloud storage for save data. I would like to play the game on a new device with a newer operating system, but without cloud storage (like linking to Game Center), I may eventually be unable to play the game. 2. Revealing outfits. While I would honestly prefer none of the outfits to be revealing (especially since the game is rated 4+; honestly, if I had a 9-year-old, I wouldn't want him/her playing this game for the reason of the revealing outfits), I would at least like them to be where and in a way that I don't have to see them (the beginner's tutorial is something that I believe should change, for example; I was able to see the tutorial because I was attempting to see if the game would prompt me to use my game data from the other device). Like I said before, this is a great game, and I'm looking forward to the game becoming better and better. (Also, I'm running a version of the game that is earlier than 5.2.2, in case it shows that this review is for version 5.2.2.)
Great game, ruined by slow servers.
I played this when it first came out and loved it! Rediscovered it recently and looked forward to playing it again, however the games servers are too slow to play the game seriously. Please allocate more data for this game! I would pay to make this happen. Thanks!

Where’s all my progress
I downloaded a new update and logged in for some reason the game is called fish masters and not fishing superstars but when I logged in alll my progress was gone GONE 3 years of grinding just for it to all go down the DRAIN the game was fine why WHY

Fun game to play but graphics can be improve further.
Impotent purchasing.
I love this game! It’s pretty fun and I love the idea of a fishing rpg. I have one huge problem tho. One that will keep me from playing this game. I can’t ever complete limited time purchases. No matter how I try to get ahold of the devs they never answer. I just want to be able to spend a little money. Fifty bucks here or there, because I enjoy the game that much but I don’t have time to grind all the stuff I want. So that’s it really. If they ever get ahold of me maybe I’ll change my review. But for now I’m going to have to shelve it.

Ace Fishing disasterous language change
Very disappointing indeed. After updating to ver. 5.4.0 language also updated to Korean. English speaking gamers like me cannot continue to play. Can admin please reverse it back to English or post a note to help us revert to English. Thanks Repeat request to revert game language to English. Most of us do not understand Korean! We cannot play this game until language reverts to English. If Korean is more important to admin can I propose dual language (English/Korean). Update says this game has an English version. This is great but even with the new update the game opens in Korean! How do I change language from Korean to English? Can admin please include a guide in English to help revert game to English? Thanks! Still waiting for a response on how to revert to English so I can continue to play! It’s been so very long and there is neither a response or a change. Why? Please provide instructions to change language from Korean back to English. Have sent several requests for this but have not received any response! Does Ace Fishing admin. even read inputs to help non-Korean players like me get back to playing mode? 08/01/2020

From good to bad
I enjoyed the game but that is before game update. After updating to version 5.4.0, all texts changed to korean language and the fishing rod cannot be cast. Did I updated a bug?

Need Developer Assistance
Ever since the new update I haven't been able to play/open game it acts like it's downloading and installing 6 update files then once it says successfully updated it starts them all over again repeatedly .. It been doing this for over a week now..I have been playing for a couple years now please help or fix this

Cute BUT it's PAY to WIN.... So it's JUNK
Good program, art, unrealistic fish hunting but they have a little system...this bait works on these fish etc. plenty of cute anime characters... And I think outfits if you pay or earn enough coins... Never happen... Anyways.... Would of been a great buy it game but they ruined it ... Trying to turn our devices into a pay per play arcade... Um sorry... As soon as I recognize this business model... Me and many others stay away as we find these deals sketchy... I'm a developer myself and I think this is a grubby way to do business... Sell ad dons... Not consumables... Nice business model... I'm not buying though... Too bad... Game is cute.

Awesome game for anglers
Compared to other fishing games not the best
Over priced items. To reach VIP7 you have to buy a minimum of 14 $100 star packs. That's $1,400! Who would spend that much money for a temporary 30 day VIP reward? Way too difficult to get stars. At least give stars in the main quests please. And add more quests. Make the fish in the aquarium swim around an actual aquarium with a side bar to feed fishes. Maybe make the fish sizes more realistic. Like I don't get why in the beginning it is so hard to catch a tiny fish. It would be easy to catch such a small fish just using a stick with a string. Update the character designs. Especially the female ones so that kids don't get uncomfortable playing this game. I also think it's unrealistic for a women with huge b**bs to be fishing giant sharks. The characters should look like they've worked out at the gym for a while so that they could catch sharks and such. The update on the hero set being at double stats for the weekend should be displayed in the shop in the item description. Not many people know that later the costume they bought would have its stats dropped by 50%. Also there are a lot of typos that haven't even been fixed. It wasn't that annoying until I played this game for a while and kept seeing typos that weren't corrected. The only reason I don't 1-star my review is because I'm nice and also really good at this game. But please change these things because it seems like as the app developers you shouldn't be ignoring this. Upgrading rods shouldn't downgrade with failing. In-app purchases are seemingly necessary because the game is based on low chances and our stars are wasted. No one will spend money on this game if you keep the game this challenging. This game doesn't even have enough reviews in the App Store for a rating for the current version because most people put in a low star review and left. This game has a fun creative foundation and it's cool to be able to fish for dinosaurs but it seems like if you don't spend any money there is an invisible barrier and if you are unfortunate with legend luck cards you will never catch any of the stronger boss fish. The trial rod from the Sunset Lighthouse quest shouldn't be held to a limited time as compensation. This entire game is based on like. Feels like a 1% chance to get good rods from luck coupons or upgrade rods past +10. You try and buy stars but a small batch of them is too expensive and you might not get anything worthwhile depending on what you use them on. Seriously what the fish. Fix this game NOW. PLEASE

Pay to play sums it up. At level 28 they stop giving you stars. The daily challenges for stars require high level areas that are out of reach. Fun while it lasted

I just upgraded my iPhone to an iPhone 6 from a iPhone 5. Supposedly all was up loaded to iCloud to save everything. But when the Verizon store down loaded all my info and apps I discovered I don't have my fishing superstars v-3 back in the original status I had attained. I have to start all over again from level 1. I was on level 59! I lost all contacts with friends and can't find my Guild team! My team was Seawolves with my player name as Docjim MC. My Master on the game was Nucky or Nuckey. This totally upsets me as I have been playing this game for about three years! HELP HELP!!!!!

It was Fun Playing this game but right now when I log in, It shows a black screen i cannot see the background, only see Words then other than that the rest, I cannot even Fish... Please fix the problem..
Good game but issues with the saving mechanics.
It's a good game and I would not mine playing the game but, I lost my file after the latest update and I can't get it back even though I registered with gamevil. I can't get my file back and it makes me annoyed since I can't play on that file.

After an update, my game have convertered into the chinese edition with chinese language. My character is gone as it goes back to level 1. It's a great game but I'm disappointed by my profile suddenly being rebooted. Please help me with this. Thank you.
