Please update the number keyboard. It is not representative of either a calculator or a normal number keypad. Thanks. Also, please slow down the hat trick. I am old and cannot really follow that fast anymore. Thanks.

The heavier heaviest game doesn’t fit the screen, iPhone 16 pro max
Great brain training game but it there are glitches.
Good game with lots of great puzzles but the 3rd level of the heavier, heaviest does not display the choices at the bottom, they are off the screen and needs to be fixed. My device is the 15 pro.

Love Brain School but…
I enjoy the games, I love a challenge but sometimes I get stumped. It would be nice to be able to have hints and then see the solution if I can’t solve it. Something like a hint button (perhaps a two hint limit?) and an “I’m stumped” button or “uncle” button which would show the correct solution. Otherwise, I enjoy it immensely. I would (and have) highly recommend it.

Some people may struggle with one concept. It was too challenging so I stopped doing the entire program.

Update 9/24/22: Yes, latest version. the below review was an old review from 2017. I had to re-purchase the game 😤 a few days ago after I kept getting a message that the old one I had needed to be updated by the developers (but wouldn’t update). So I had deleted it. I thought it had been abandoned but was surprised to stumble over it again on the App Store. I don’t have the same issue with sudoku as mentioned below, but the kakuro still has missing numbers in the columns and rows. For example the very easiest kakuro could not be completed b/c two numbers had “…” instead of the sum amounts for those columns/rows. Update: Really loved this game, but some time back, the Sudoku "possibles" (mostly number 9, sometimes number 8) broke--they disappear if other numbers are entered in the same box. The Kakuro broke a long time ago (numbers missing). So disappointing. Also, I really liked the difficulty of the Sudoku. Just opened it from the most recent update, and it's way too easy--two lines (one vertical, one horizontal) had SEVEN numbers filled in each. Please fix!!! Otherwise, I have really loved this app and have spent hours playing. One of the most-used apps on my phone! Love this app. Fun and challenging.
Fun and Challenging...Challenge your kids!
Changing it to 2 stars for now because I cannot complete the last section of year 2 (Paper Puzzle) in order to take the year 2 exam...I answer the first question and then the whole program shuts down. I will change it back to 5 if it gets fixed. I didn’t know how else to report the problem. I always like the brain tests but they usually cost a bunch of money or have a ton of ads. This one is simple, challenging, somewhat free and fun. Kids arent all that crazy about school? If they are anything like mine, they WILL enjoy getting a higher score ore than you! Especially in the name memory game...that is the area that youth has a natural advantage!

TBI Help!!!
I have a TBI since I was thrown from a wildly spooked horse, breaking MANY bones, getting trauma fractures on all left side teeth, plus a concussion and traumatic brain injury. It’s been 12 years, lots of surgeries and therapies (physical, speech, cognitive, etc), and I’m STILL not back to 100% but apps like this have helped me a great deal. I highly recommend this app to anyone with a TBI or Alzheimer’s or dementia, or even anyone wanting to slow any age regression in thinking!
Doesn’t work
Can only do first level magic hats. Won’t open on any more. Maths shapes makes no sense. Not a very good app so I hope it didn’t cost me anything as there was no price. Going to delete it now form my iPhone 6s.
Nice brain workout
Starts out easy and gets harder. Nice little brain workout. However I can’t get to level three because the paper puzzle in year two will not open up. It keeps kicking me out. This needs an update.
frustrating!!
This game could be fun, and possibly good for your brain, but if you get stuck on one part of one puzzle in one level, you’re outta luck because you can’t go any further. Why wouldn’t there be a way to see the solution and learn what you did wrong?? Or to skip that puzzle and give me a lower grade - who cares??? I would be really ticked if I paid for the ad free version and got trapped. Grrrrr.

I’ve always loved Brain school!!
I first practiced and worked on Brain school app 7 years ago. I think it can be used in many various ways to benefit everyone. Here’s the only reason only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. It has always been super frustrating trying to rotate the yellow shapes on any touch screen device. They like to get stuck when one attempts to use two fingers to spin the shapes. It seems to not occur as frequent on my iPad Pro vs my iPhone. However, regardless of device it eventually happens while using touch screen and my fingers.

I love this game and I’ve been playing for a few years but now I’ve updated my iPad to the new iOS and I updated this app and I was doing an exam and then the app crashed. Please fix this.

The time limit is frustrating! I downloaded this app for my 3 year old as a way to challenge him mathematically. He knows how to answer all of the questions for year one but he needs time to read the sums, find the numbers and then hit the check/tick! Due to the 55 second time limit he is only able to work through 3 questions before he is timed out, which is frustrating for him. If you had a casual one where kids aren’t timed out and can work at their own pace the app would be perfect. Kids would be encouraged to learn, not become discouraged at not being fast enough! The aim should be to get kids excited about learning!

I am enjoying all the quizes I’ve done. The plastic puzzle is quite difficult. The one I and others are stuck on is year one second star, I’ve tried so many possibilities to make the required picture, with no success but a lot of frustration. Is there a way to find the solution or can you send me the solution please, please — losing sleep. Thank you. Martha

How confusing!
Most games can be played without reading the 99-page instructions! Your programmers skipped school!!
Not saving progress
The only thing I don’t enjoy which probably will end up deleting this app is that it doesn’t save the progress when putting the puzzle together in the 1st level. I don’t have time or want to play for long periods of times and have to redo all the puzzles to get back to where one was...

Since the update today, the app crashes each time I tap on a game. I tried deleting the app and starting over, but the game still does not work. Too bad....😕
I loved it, but level 4 not great
I played this as I found it challenging and fun. However I am now at level 4 and the Kakuro and Sudoku puzzles are frustrating because I am not able to select the correct numbers I need to fill in the boxes. The floating number box is unresponsive to any selections.

The sudoku game doesn’t let you put the numbers in. I can sit and click on the correct number all day long and nothing happens!! It’s putting my blood pressure up!!! Which defeats the whole purpose of trying to do a brain training game to keep healthier and younger!! 😉some of the games are good but some are not!! No feedback on where you went wrong either!! Just a pass or a fail!!

The plastic game shape is exactly like what shows but no explanation on how to submit answer. Spend more time trying to figure out how to submit answers than playing. Figuring out how to play is easy but once you have the answer how do u submit it. Don’t like this at all!!!! Now I can’t get this review sent!!!!
Quite nice, killed by ads
The game is nice and challenging enough, but the amount of ads really is annoying.
Good but a few glitches
A lot of fun and gets your brain going but not always user friendly and some of the more difficult maths questions are marked as wrong when they are definitely correct. I know my maths and for some reason, this app seems to struggle with large numbers. Keypad on sudoku and another puzzle in Year 4 doesn’t work particularly well. Won’t let you input numbers, it just moves the number pad around. Otherwise, good fun games
