I started using this app in 2017 and it still works great. I haven’t used many other recording apps but this one has saved my recordings and is simple with out a bunch of nonsense or unnecessary features. Record the call and done. Not sure I’ve seen anything extra from other apps that I personally need. Give it a go.
Does NOT Work
The app could not even complete the test call to my phone to setup. Don't waste your time or the possibility of being charged by Apple for an app that does not work at all!!!
Great Audio
Easy set up, pretty self-explanatory, and easy to use. Really good sound quality on the recordings and easy to download!
Not so easy
Found it difficult to use.
Saving issue
Recording for out going calls is perfect, but for incoming calls is a bit complicated and could not do it at any time yet, an other issue is saving the recording , I need to save it into my drive or voice memo, but the only think I get is a link!!!! I do not know if I can use this link after unsubscribing or if I do mot have internet!!! Please advice . Thanks

Really good app
App not working
I downloaded the app and registered with mobile and email even bought unlimited recording but the app doesn't work. It can't even make the test call. Please fix the issue or refund me at your earliest. I bought the app to use not to play with and it is currently in no use.
Cool app
This app is pretty cool. I believe people in the legal field would benefit from using this app/service. If you have to make a call and want it recorded, you should use this app! It can be used to help provide evidence in a he/she said situation. The app provides transcripts of the recording as well but it isn’t 100% accurate. Overall, I think the app is cool.
Don’t pay the transcriptions
I paid for the calls to be transcribed, but they were full of errors. I had to redo the entire transcriptions myself so that they would be accurate. Waste of money.
Good but unreliable
I have very much enjoyed NoNotes : I am a freelance reporter and it has helped me a lot. Although, since the last updates, it has been very much unreliable. Half the time, when I try to record a call, it will load and then go back to the dialing page, and when I try recording an active call, it will load and in both ways, I do not receive the call from NoNotes. Pretty disappointing. Please fix the issue, I need you, NoNotes!

Based on our experience, NoNotes who was once a great product with excellent tools and exceptional customer service. NoNotes is out of business. The company no longer supports the app, tools or replies to customers.
Would Recommend for Lawyers
Would absolutely recommend for those in the legal field who want to easily transcribe messages with clients or witnesses.
Clumsy
It is a bit clumsy to get to the point of recording the call. I finally went with using a separate mic, iPhone on Speaker mode,and the voice recorder on windows 10.
Great app and great customer service!
I need a dependable recording device for my job as a journalist, and of all the ones I’ve tried, NoNotes is the best! I had one wonky problem one time, and the customer service was just fantastic. Can’t recommend this app highly enough.
Run Away - Nonexistent Help
The app works great until there’s a problem and your recordings are inaccessible and no one will return your emails or calls for a week and you can’t do your work because no notes has ghosted you.
Almost Perfect
I love the app. I buy the annual subscription. Works awesome to record my conversations. Only 3 things I hate: 1. The messy saving feature. You need to log in on a pc/laptop, the click a few links, then save target. That’s really old school. Should be able to do direct save/share right through phone itself. Right now all it offers is the link. Or if not to phone, to I cloud. If it weren’t for this, I don’t think I’d need my laptop anymore. 2. In the beginning, when I gave someone my number to call, they’d get this weird greeting interrupting our call. They’d usually wait for me to call them back. I don’t bother giving out that number anymore. 3. Having to merge an incoming call. Maybe there’s no way around this? But putting someone on hold while you fumble switching screens, then waiting for the other call to come in. Then merging. Isn’t fast and easy. Especially if you need things hands free. But despite those drawbacks for me. It’s still worth it for the peace of mind having things on record.
$ Do NOT Redownload After Unsubscribing!!! $
The service promised by the app - recording and transcribing calls - works great. HOWEVER, and I can see from other reviews that I’m not the only one who experienced this: if you cancel your subscription and delete the app from your phone, redownloading it renews your subscription for some reason and charges you $10. Even if you then delete it again, you have to manually unsubscribe once more and jump through hoops to get a refund. I downloaded it and subscribed in Dec 2018 for a project, and canceled my subscription when I no longer needed it. I redownloaded again in May (don’t even remember why, maybe just to show someone else or check it out again) and deleted it shortly after, without asking to renew my subscription or using the call recording service. I didn’t notice for three months that it’d been charging me again. I unsubscribed, chalked it up to being my own fault and thought I’d accidentally resubscribed, and didn’t think much of it. Then in March of 2020 I noticed I’d been getting charged $10/month AGAIN by this app since Oct 2019! Is it common practice for subscription apps to automatically resubscribe former users if they just redownload the FREE app but don’t use the PAID service?? It’s certainly never happened to me before. I emailed customer service asking for an explanation and a refund, and was told there was nothing they could do on their end. Apple, for whatever reason, was only able to refund me for the three months of 2020 charges but not for the three months at the end of 2019. Now I’m going between Apple, NoNotes, and my bank trying to get the rest of my money back, for a service I haven’t used since 2018. Very disappointing and frustrating.
Best $10 a month I spend
The automatic transcription service is invaluable. Certainly accurate enough for my needs. It has made a world of difference in my ability to interview people and capture 100% of what is said.
Terrible app and no customer service
Still doesn’t work. No response when you try to call for technical assistance. They just keep billing you and hold your prior recordings ransom. Not good business model.

Hi Matt, replying to your email. Your app has and will be quite useful, a couple hiccups, but you assured they will be remedied. I recommend this app for anyone that thinks someone is defaming or using you in an illegal way. Very, very helpful. Wish it could record incoming calls though.

Tried several times on WiFi and without to connect but I never get the message code so I can make a new user

Couldn’t get it to work after paying $9.99
I purchased this app about 30 minutes prior to an important call that I needed to record for work purposes. Based on a previous phone recording app I had used, I assumed this recording app also would be easy to use and have an instructional video or slide show. There was nothing like that I could find. After three failed practice calls, I couldn’t get it to work. And my account shows that I have a 35 minute recorded call, but when I click on it and try to play it, nothing happens. Extremely frustrating and disappointing and a waste of the $9.99 a month I paid for it. I have already canceled the subscription when it expires, and I’ll have to look for another call app service. Ugh!

NoNotes never works ~ stay away
I was an earlier adopter of NoNotes when it was a wonderful app tool with amazing features and wonderful custoner service. In recent year, NoNotes never works and they never provide customer service. Call recordings are lost, not accessible and constant error messages. Calls cannot be connected, bad receiption and dropped calls are typical. NoNotes is likely out of busy based on the fact nobody ever takes a customer's call or email.
Great App!
This app does its job well. It was easy to sign up and make a call. The call worked well. The receiving end was very clear, the sender was a little fuzzy but you could still understand the words.

Out of business?
App has worked wonderfully until just this week — similar to other users, my recordings are logged in the app but not retrievable and, when I call No Notes, every extension has the same message that agents are assisting other customers. Written messages have also gone unanswered. Do not use.
Good Quality and User Friendly
This app was very easy to understand and use. I was able to easily record calls and play them back at a later time. I often worry about the sound quality with apps like these but it was no problem. A great product!
Awesome!
Very useful app. If you are in a certain field of work the requires a lot of documented calls / conversations this is a perfect app. You are able to record a call and download a transcript into word. Very easy to sign up and straight forward.

I can’t get anyone to call or email back with my request. My recording is coming up blank and I need help getting the call off No Notes’ server. It is a file for work I urgently need today. I have used the app for years and never had trouble with accessing a file and when I really need customer service desperately, there is no way to reach anyone. Completely disappointed. I have gotten immediate feedback from a free recording app; they even followed up to learn how they did. Help!!
