Mediocre scheduling app
This app is ok but frequently struggle to login or out of my shifts and I have two shifts when I am allocated to work one handover shift and then my full shift and when I clock in it doesn’t always register both. Also when requesting a shift swap it won’t let me request to swap them both with another employee which we need to do to be able to successfully request the swap before management authorise it so only 3 out of 5 stars from me

Messaging update
Quite like Planday, does what we need, the recent addition of direct messaging is great but there’s a bug on iPad. If I switch from the new DM tab to email, it just jumps back to the DM, even if you select a mail message it just ignores the touch and slides back to the DM tab. The only way to stop this behaviour is to quit Planday completely and launch it again… but then it just starts doing it once more if I look at the mail message tab. It’s pretty frustrating, this is a good, alternative to AI slop services like WhatsApp but in its first iteration it’s very buggy on iPad, my iPhone doesn’t have this unexpected behaviour. Can provide a screen-grab video of the bug.

Love Planday. One of my favorite things since joining this new company. One thing I don’t like, I have to open and refresh the app before I get notified of a new message .

Difficult to use
2 months trying to put my bank account details. The app is not allowing me to change any profile details . As a result I will be missing again for my payment 2nd month in the row.There is no any details for support from app. I send more than 10 texts to person who responded for technical support in our company, but nothing happened. They asked to attach screenshot with problem but due to app doesn’t recognise me as a member nothing happened.
Should add a way to link to apple calendar

It would be SO helpful if Planday was an available app in iPhone Shortcuts. So that I could get a notification to prompt me to start /end timer when arriving or leaving work.

It would be ok if plan day was to work for every shift, sometimes it doesn’t register. Clocking in clocking out or both. Some members can’t even clock in or out.

Login issues all the time
Most of the time I can’t log into this app. It says my information is wrong when I have it on auto fill so I know it’s correct. It’s also very unresponsive sometimes. I like the lay out and how easy it is to navigate but the login is a really big issue.
Useful scheduling app with two flaws
Really useful on the go scheduling app that shows me exactly what I’m doing on various days. Two flaws are that you cannot see what others working with you are doing, if you click on them it tries to send a message instead of showing their role, the second flaw is you can’t rotate the screen to landscape mode which would alleviate flaw one as the data is off the screen but landscape would show a wider screen view allowing you to see what other team members roles are on each day

The location is great but little space in the entrance. Unlike some other stores where there is lots of space in the entrance where we can set up our display.

I was hoping to have a user-friendly scheduler to make the schedules for my department, putting a bunch of personal information for employees just to be able to schedule them I just want a simple app where I can put someone on the schedule name in time I don’t need all the other frills I guess.
Lagging
Right, so far I used the app for a couple months now so that's my point of view : app is ever so slow, today I've received a message on the app and it took me almost 15 minutes to be able to load it. When I go on the schedule, again it takes good minutes before I can be able to scroll left or right to see the shifts. And please for the sake of God stop the app from sending 5 notifications when the shifts is coming to an end.

Privacy concern
Incredibly concerning that it says they collect data on your phone like text messages, photos and videos and pass it to third parties. Invasion of your privacy. Why collect photos from your phone and pass it to third parties? Imagine they collect photos of children and who will they send them to? Had to delete app.
Glitch with shift swap
Really frustrating when I try to swap a colleague a shift & the shift I’m trying to swap for doesn’t exist as a swap option 😒
Great idea
What the app offers is good - when it works. For the last 2 months, my boss has had trouble assigning shifts. My coworkers and I put in our availability but the app allows us to be scheduled on days we cannot work. Also, the app could be CONSIDERABLY more user-friendly. It’s set up very poorly.

Flexibility
An employees should be able enter a vacation day / PTO day for approval, rather than send a message and hope someone remembers to enter it. If an employee forgets to punch in, they should be able to enter the punch Time subject to approval. It would be helpful if an employee could go back and review their prior shifts to see if something is amiss rather than find out on pay day.
Just okay at the moment
The app is okay, I love some features on it and it would get 5 stars from me if it didn’t have a constant lag, freeze on every single one of my teams and myself use app Messaging the team on there, changing a shift, ending a break requires sometimes two to three forced closes before it will probably work after starting up again (at multiple sites not just at one) Takes a good 60-120seconds to load a page (for everyone) i wish I could clock people in for them incase their app or phone wasn’t working . I would really love it for scheduling however in the midst of creating a roster on my MacBook, the website kicks me out mid flow - luckily it saves it 4 out of 5 times I love it connects to our surrounding software or give us better figures but overall the app needs to be made user friendly and not freeze so much, it’s so frustrating for someone who have to use 5-7days a week as a manager If the app updates and this issues are resolved, I will definitely change my rating as this app has potential but at the moment just causes everyone frustration
