We’ll simply beautiful magazine and the online version is fast. Love it.
Impossible to subscribe
I’ve tried numerous times to activate my subscription and use the app without success. Staff very apologetic however still not resolved after 18 emails. Have cancelled, shame as looked like good magazine
Great App
My only complaint is that when viewed on an iPad you can’t see double page spreads together which defeats the point if you have to swipe to see the second half of a room!

A Monthly Treat
I always look forward to the beautiful pages of this magazine. Such a monthly treat to peak inside other people’s homes, get great tips on gardening and cooking and just enjoy an hour’s respite from the daily grind

Summer reading
It is delicious to browse through the lush pages of the H & G magazine. Gossip is interesting when one has holiday time to indulge and gazing upon beautiful summer villas and their refreshing interiours most enjoyable. I wish the G&G application would be available on a laptop since reading large format of a luxurious glossy magazine on the tiny screen of a mobile iPhone is quite limited and at times discouraging. Reading the digital form would be so much improved if one could enjoy its pages on a large screen. Particularly during holidays, one cannot receive posted issues while traveling and its digital format becomes the only option. Yours truly, VAB Vancouver BC Canada
Doesn’t seem to work for past issues
I bought a subscription through iTunes that should give me access to past issues, but only the most recent issue seems to be readable. Any past issues say I’ve already bought a subscription but then say I need to log in or restore purchases to read the magazine. Which seems like a waste of 5 bucks so I def canceled my subscription instantly. I wonder if buying thru their website works and thru in app purchase doesn’t or something.
Good content, poor app
It is a shame that attempting to turn the pages can be so frustrating that you tend to lose the will to continue to read the excellent content.

‘There is a connection error’
App clearly not running properly. Cannot activate account even though I have paid for a subscription. I have tried many times to gain access and the same message keeps coming up ^ … I have tried several WiFi connections and 4G. It is not a connection error. CN customer service really not helpful… don’t waste your time!
Can only view in Portrait
The App does not allow viewing of the magazine in Landscape so you don’t get full benefit of pictures and articles.

I enjoy the magazine but there there seem to be regular problems with the app, with many pages inaccessible for unexplained reasons. I may in future get the magazine in hard copy for ease of access and reading
Wouldn’t Be Without House and Garden
Have been taking the magazine for over 30 years and now also save articles in the app. I still eagerly await my paper version of the publication but find saving articles easier on the app. It is undoubtedly the best of its kind and gives me much joy each month. Never disappoints and stays unto date in its style. Simply Wonderful.

Great content unfortunately the formatting on an iPhone 11 or iPad are not correct. Need to be scrolling down as the top always cuts off.

App constantly logs out and loses the info plus login doesn’t work most of the time. No help with support email. Wouldn’t bother with this you can never access the magazine!

Time to e-publishing is too long
It would be much appreciated if the online version of the magazine became available at the same time as the print version. Some of us don’t have access to a shop copy. This is the only reason I’ve not given you a five star rating
I think they need some mathematics
I just got my new iPhone XS with 500GB of storage. Imagine my surprise when I fired up this app and learnt that I was low on disc space and the app erased all my previous purchases. I just checked. 403GB of spare space could make things a bit tight for some but not for me. Do you think the programmers are having problems with where to put the decimal place? What a pain!
Awful app
Agree with other reviewers, this app is an absolute waste of time. Always connecting issues, fails to log in, I have deleted it from my phone for good.
No longer working
Purchases of issues and downloads worked fine before I upgraded my ipad to ISO7 now after purchasing two new issues which I can't download and after trying various refreshes, download fixes and reinstalling I still can't download and have now lost all my previous issues. Pixelmags have been quick to respond to my emails but the issue still hasn't been resolved now I'm out of pocket!
Why the delay versus the Print edition
Waiting for the Jan 2018 edition that’s been in the shops for a few days, (and ironically is also the one used for the preview in the App Store) but in the app it’s still just the December issue...

Hopeless. Continually restarts losing your place. Condé Nast appear not to care about their readership.
Dead End
Renewed my subscription. Try to link with my account, says it is already linked. Try to sign in to my account, says to link the subscription. I have been stuck in this loop for a week now. Customer Care via email are totally useless and in the same loop as the app. I cannot access my subscription and cannot login to the app. Nightmare that nobody seems to be able to fix.
Terrible app
I have and have paid for the app but can’t download the magazine. Conde Nast blame apple which is a terrible piece of customer service.
Terrible awful app
I subscribed to a yearly subscription through apple via this app. It worked fine for 2 months then suddenly stopped working, it wouldn’t refresh the magazine and kept saying I didn’t have any subscription. I deleted and reinstalled the app a bunch of times, reset my password, I reinstalled purchases. I spent waaaay too many hours of my life on this stupid thing. I contacted conde Nast, they told me to contact apple, I contacted apple, they told me to constant the app developers which is Conde Nast, I contacted them again they told me to contact apple. Still haven’t got any resolution and still haven’t got a refund for the 10 months I paid for and didn’t receive. Wasted £30 for nothing. DO NOT USE THIS APP you will lose your money and waste hours of your time!
This is rubbish
What a pain this app is. It frequently requires me to sign in, unless I download a new version of the app I cannot get the latest month, it takes ages to download and instead of remembering where I am in the magazine, it takes me back to the cover each time. Other magazines can do. What's wrong with these people?

As with others, I can download one month's issue but when a new issue appears I am asked to pay in spite of my automatic monthly renewal ( which, in itself, seems an odd system). I then delete the app, reload it from my purchased apps and it works once ( but only once!) before I have to repeat the deletion process. Getting a bit boring! Philip Hill
Terrible app
Hard to believe this title is from the same stable as The New Yorker - which is so much better in every respect. State of the art. The H&G app is barely usable. I give up in frustration every time. And am now wasting time writing this. Oh, and the print edition arrives over a month after it appears online, so H&G can’t do real world either. Huge disappointment. If I were an advertiser, I would seriously renegotiate my rates down.
