Great resource, whilst easy to access
A great resource with appropriate information on topics of health, fitness and wellbeing all tailored to women and age groups. Reassuring to know that the workouts are suitable for women and to see proven results,
Clunky
Not very intuitive. Clunky and has bugs. Also even though I supposedly have full access I cannot view the back catalogue for free. My husband has the same subscription for Mens Health and can…… what more do I need to say. The app is one of the worst I have come across which makes no sense as all it needs to do is download and store magazines…. The rest you have to access via the website anyway. Also no navigation menu for the magazine, you literally have to scroll/swipe to pages you want to view…. Please sort this out.

Needs improvement
I would like to rate this higher as when it works it is great, HOWEVER, if I leave it idle for more than a few minutes it forgets me. As another reviewer says it would also be useful to see what my subscription is, but I wonder if by doing that people cancel their subscription ahead of the standard monthly charge coming in. Considering the amount of glossy ads in this mag I'm surprised WH can't afford to make a better app.
Doesn’t let me download
I joined this week and paid my subscription but it won’t let me download half the magazines. It’s very slow and customer care were not very helpful, just told me I had to wait?!
53 and loving gym
Never really did weights.. always cardio… never saw the point of lifting heavy weights… didn’t wanna get too massive… however being menapausal it’s helped me no end… my aching joints are so much more easier… I love the buzz and I’m definitely not hooked on just what the scales say.. more on how much have I lifted today and seeing the progress… my clothes fit better… even down a size… but the weight hasn’t really gone down… but lost inches … it’s taken me a long time to get over not getting hung up on what the dreaded scales say and going more on what my body is saying xx

Subscribed, paid all my money etc. Got the first issue and now can’t ‘get’ the second... nice!
Not great
The app unfortunately rarely works properly and always charges full price despite the add banner claiming a lower one (when you click that, nothing happens). It takes forever to download, frequently crashes and I've had to reinstall it a few times.
Good App needs restructured though.
This app is free but do people really expect to get the magazines free once inside the app?? I certainly didn't and think the prices are reasonable. Love having my mags all stored in my iPad forever but think its not a very pretty or user friendly app. The layout could be much better!
Awful - developers don’t care !!
Would give this app no stars if I could, it’s now 25th of the month and still not received this months issue. Needs sorting out !!! Developers don’t care, just save your money
Waste of money
App is great but only if you have a subscription and the subscription isn’t worth paying for as you can’t get access to the magazine when it’s already available in shops! Not too sure how the digital edition can be released so much later than the print edition! As per other reviews Hearst customer service is also shockingly bad, definitely won’t be renewing my subscription.
Slow downloads
Takes ages to download past issues, and even when it says it's been downloaded, you open it up & there are still pages which can't be read. Have had to uninstall and reload the app a few times too.
May Issue?
So normally this app works great however despite restoring etc cannot get access to the May issue which is annoying as I can see it every time I go to the supermarket sitting on the shelves! Have paid the subscription but can't access - needs sorting asap.
Late releasing magazines
The issue I have with the app is that the magazines are often released late or fail to download within the app. It's rather frustrating as I follow the WH instagram pages and get excited about the release of each month's magazine and then have to wait longer than those who aren't subscribed. Makes no sense to me as WH should be looking after their loyal readers. I am considering cancelling my subscription on the back of this. When the magazines are released I don't have an issue with the app.
Shocking!
Late to come to the store and the images are of ABYSMAL quality. Probably wouldn't mind if it was cheaper but for the price I'm expecting it to be as good of better then the physical product since we aren't paying for the resources of ink, paper and shipping to stores.
Rubbish app upgrade- lost all my back issues
I'm horrified to see the app upgrade has removed the vast majority of my back issues. I've spent 4 quid a month on magazines which I like reverting to on my iPad to find that I can only access 4-5 issues now, I've lost around 12 issues. Will go back to buying in paper version- this is a stinker. Change the app back fast.

Don't bother buying this - rubbish
As per the other reviews, I can't download the May issue. I have heard back from Customer Services who just told me to Restore Purchase. I did this, and nothing, nada, zilch. Still waiting on a response back from the rd email I sent.
Not as good as US version
I have purchased the UK and the US version every month for a while now. The UK version is just not as good and well researched. There are a lot on cooking recipes, beauty products and fashion which is frankly lazy editing. The current issue (March) is possibly the worst ever. I will no longer buy the UK version.
Don't know what everyone else's problem is?
I have women's health subscription. Every quarter it's there for me to downloads and I never have any problems. Nothing to moan about it all!!
Awful user experience- no access even though I pay
App is awful to use. So unclear. No way to see what type of subscription I've been gifted. Can't access material without a message away by either subscribe or pay even though I've been gifted a subscription. The may issue is out in the shops but not showing up on app for me to download. A complete waste of money.
Am I being Unfair??
I am already a subscriber to paper version and have just received my April issue. On the address / cover sheet I'm told this mag is now available for me to read digitally - Yay! I duly downloaded the app and sign in to my 'existing account'... However I am now given the option to Purchase or take out a digital subscription!?! - Again? Really? None of my other magazine subscriptions do this to me. Very Disappointed! Incidentally, the latest digital magazine is 'March' - Yet my paper magazine issue is 'April'. Not at all impressed. I am, however happy with my glossy editions, and would give a four or five star for these. The three star deduction reflects my disappointment with the digital recharge. :(
Disappoing don't upgrade
Quite a few things wrong with the app. The latest issue is out now on newsstands but is not yet available on the iPad. It keeps logging me out and saying i need to pay or subscribe even though I'm a paying subscriber already when I try and resume reading an article very disappointing not to mention all the old issues they just deleted.
Broken?
I have a subscription but the app won't update and let me download the May edition. I've reinstalled the app, restored purchases and follows the troubleshooting advice in the FAQ online... still nothing. So right now I've paid for something I have no access to.
Not impressed
I've lost all content and it keeps trying to charge me again for content I should already have access to. I've emailed customer services since January, and still no access. I will not be renewing my subscription.
