Poco funzionale
Manca un sistema chiaro e ordinato per trovare le puntate dei programmi/serie tv, che dovrebbero essere ben divise per stagioni ed episodi, anziché un minestrone di spezzoni e puntate intere ovviamente mai in ordine cronologico. Servirebbe anche una funzione per guardare una diretta in corso ma riprendendo dall’inizio anche se già iniziata, ed infine bisognerebbe fare in modo che l’app sappia cosa ha già visto l’utente, così da poter riprendere da dove si è lasciato. Insomma non mi sembra fantascienza, eppure mancano queste funzioni basilari, il che rende l’utilizzo dell’app difficoltoso e laborioso.

Si frizza dopo un po . Come sempre in italia non siamo capaci mai a fare le cose come si deve con i soldi publici .

user interface problems to no end
This app was clearly written with some cross-platform API, which in itself is bad practice. But the developers didn't even make an effort in trying to make the user interface usable on an iPhone. No standard shortcuts work. No gestures work the way they're supposed to work on an iPhone. external controls such as AirPods are broken. For a broadcasting institution of the size and budget of RAI to publish an app that could have been written by a student for an undergrad software project, is an embarrassment. And it has never improved over the years. Since RAI decided years ago to commission a cross-platform API app, it's been a disgraceful result.

A me dispiace molto che la App non funzioni sempre. Succede spesso che la App la devo disinstallare così funzioni di nuovo purtroppo. Sperl che farete qualcosa cosi funzionerà mehlig

Non so perché però da un paio di giorni non si può più vedere in diretta. Vengono solo due pubblicità e poi si spegne ….

Con una VPN funziona perfettamente dall’estero. Ce ne sono varie.
Software terribile, contenuti eccellenti
Lascio questa recensione nella speranza che gli sviluppatori la lèggano anche se si trova sullo store USA. I contenuti di RaiPlay sono eccellenti, peccato che il software sia pieno di bug, lentissimo, inaffidabile. Inoltre al momento la app occupa oltre 1 GB di spazio sul mio iPhone senza che abbia scaricato nessun contenuto. Non è normale. Mi auguro che la Rai possa investire di più nello sviluppo di un prodotto che a livello di contenuti merita tantissimo — ma la forma è davvero scadente. Nota bene: vivendo all’estero ho accesso a pochissimi contenuti, ma in Italia lo uso abbastanza spesso.

Diversi problemi
Background playing non funziona Non si riesce ad arrivare una appletv (dà errore 404 su “associa tv”) Poi su appletv non usa i campi standard di username e password quindi non si può usare la tastiera del telefono per scrivere username e password e ci si mette letteralmente una vita a loggarsi E ovviamente ignora la password e ritorna alla schermata principale
Not great, but it works
It does the job. Not sure what all the one stars are. It’s nowhere near the BBC app, clearly, but I’ve been using it for years just fine. For those complaining you can’t see many programmes from abroad: wake up, you nitwits. It’s about rights. It’s the same for every other TV. You can’t watch the BBC from Italy, for example.

Frustrating
I have VPN Italia and use it in conjunction with RaiPlay. Lately when I sign onto a program advertisements come up first and they freeze. They cannot be removed and prevent access to the program I would like to see. I have to delete the app and restore it every time. This wasn’t always so. I don’t have any idea about why this is happening, but it is a nuisance.

Uso questa App da anni da USA, e non posso dire niente di negativo. Questo anno per il Festival di Sanremo , anno dato la possibilità guardarlo anche senza usare VPN . Con il cuore raccomandato .

Vivo all’ estero ed ho preso un vpn solo per guardare la tv italiana , non funziona niente , si blocca e non fa vedere nulla. Siete zero proprio

Fix needed
Since this last update everything freezes up. A fix is needed I don’t understand why an app that everyone should love they make it terrible and every time they update it somehow it gets worse and useless.

I think that Rai play is a good app. Because I live in England some programmes aren't available which is expected but it works perfectly fine! I enjoyed watching Sanremo 2023 on it 😁

La programmazione RAI è di ottima qualità e pure l’applicazione è molto amichevole. È infatti un peccato, così come segnalato dagli altri utenti, che all’estero buona parte dei programmi non sia più accessibile. Lo trovo molto strano perché ci sono milioni di italiani all’estero che vorrebbero assistere a tante cose e ormai ne sono privi non si sa bene perché. Mi unisco quindi al coro che chiede un ripensamento di tutto ciò.

I was able to see few Italian programs and now those are no longer available. They should no offer the app outside of Italy if the programs are not available to watch.

Nuova outfit va bene - però è rimasta un po instabile come sempre. Ma una cosa mette sempre a dura prova la mia pazienza. Perché si deve sempre di nuovo accedere con il password????! Che delusione!
A parte il fatto che molte volte non si riesce a farla partire oppure fa crash, la RAI fa un gran rumore sul fatto di unire gli italiani all’estero…ma la stragrande maggioranza dei programmi è visibile solo sul territorio italiano. Capisco i film sui quali possono esserci diritti legati alla territorialità, ma pure programmi musicali o di varietà ? Cércate di venire incontro a noi italiani all’estero!!!
