Amazing
I played this game back in 2018 after randomly finding it on my iPad, but recently after paying attention to the game and actually playing for progress I’ve gotta say it’s superb. I will admit the graphics and villain texture could use a little work, but it’s a 2D game and for that it’s almost immaculate, especially when considering its age. The plot, the mission, the abilities, and the movement is extremely well done. Overall 4/5 stars (8/10).

The ads are just relentless, understand you’ve got to have a few ads but just let us play the game!
Great concept with very rough edges
It’s really amazing that a game like this can even exist. It’s exactly the kind of single player experience that mobile gaming needed. However, I have some suggestions that I believe would make it feel much better to play. The most important is consistent sword animation. The ‘3 strike’ is fine, as long as the subsequent attacks hit as high as the first one. And the first strike should always cover the head, which would do wonders for fighting bats in closed spaces. Take notes from terraria broadswords. Clean consistent overhead protection. Never feels like you missed something you really should have hit. Would also really appreciate a duck button, and less pushback when hitting an enemy. Consumables should be bought for that level, and dying after you’ve used one shouldn’t mean it disappears. You should get it back when attempting that section, since you obviously bought it to help you with a difficult level.

The bats…
The game is great, mostly, but one of the important parts of adventure games is predictability, the bats dont follow a specific path, so you can only have a general idea of they are going to go next they should have a constant movement path so the game doesnt feel as luckbased, also controller support isnt fully functional in the ui. This gives it a rating of 3. 3.5 in reality, and if these two issues are fixed 5 stars easy

Sward and magic both are great
What a shame
Once thought to be the best mobile game, but if you master the game and play it without armor and with a basic sword (to make the game more challenging so that will make you pay attention to every detail), you'll be surprised by the severity of the bugs in the game and it also cheat too. If you play with usual gears to finish the game, you will never know, cos it's too easy.

Marking down a star as worlds end so frustratingly hard I think I’m going to uninstall before completing. Wouldn’t be so bad if a couple of checkpoints in it! This ruins what is otherwise a good game

First played this game in 2014, its been 12 years, played again in 2026 and still found this game amazing, no comparison only a real RPG game which keeps you involved. Wish there were part 2 and so.

Beautiful game, but it’s far too intrusive with its data collection. Sort it out, please. I’m not having software like this on my phone. My privacy is more important.
Pretty good
It’s good and I play it a lot. I don’t know if other people know this, but if you have a Bluetooth controller then you can use it for this game. I do think it takes heavy inspiration from the legend of Zelda series, and of course isn’t as good, but for a mobile game to play free? I’d definitely install a sequel to this game.

Swordigo if not is one of the best platform mobile games on the market with a clear creativity and inspiration throughout it. My only complaint is the controls themselves feeling janky at times and unresponsive

Please fix your glitches. There’s levels where you need to get a key from the yellow soldiers but they give you no key. It says “here take this key” but the do not give you a key. Please fix this asap I love this game
