Great game! But…
This is a wonderful game. I love flying the airplanes and playing with other players. I totally suggest it, boys and girls. One thing; there’s a bug going on with it. I don’t like it. I go in to the app and hit tutorial, and when I pick a random plane and fly, it just goes straight. I can’t fly around, I just go straight and hit the wall. Something is keeping me from flying. Sometimes it ends up working, but some days I can’t even fly at all. Other than that it is a good game. Please fix this bug.

Fatal Flaw glad to see he’s still trying till the end though
At it’s best this was a very fun little game that could pump you full of adrenaline when you were lucky enough to compete against willing competitors with more skill than you that would bring out the best effort in yourself. It’s time to get to that fatal flaw though, that was unfortunately never fixed by the developer despite this game having been able to just barely squeak out an existence for well over a decade thanks to the good luck of Apple never completely killing off Game Center. That fatal flaw that was never addressed is the fact that players that felt like they were going to loose a game could simply run away from there opponents, which would cause the game to end in a draw, which is what happens when a certain amount of time goes by without a kill if you didn’t do the smart thing and just quit instead of letting the runner opponent waste your time. Because of the way the game is designed not only are players uncatchable in most of the maps, if you choose to try to chase an opponent that’s refusing to play and simply running away from you instead, it gives the running player major advantages in winning a game I won’t waste time getting into here. Because of this major game design flaw, Running away from players actually became the playing strategy of a good handful of players, this undoubtably caused many players to simply walk away from this game. It’s at this time I’ll mention that not all maps have this running flaw, some maps in the game are circular with little or nothing to hide behind, when I get matched up against a player that runs in one of these circular maps most of them immediately quit because they know they can’t run away from me and wait for me to quit or time to run out to draw. That’s the point I wanted to get to here, it’s completely understandable that it would’ve never occurred to the developer that a good handful of players would waste there time running away from an opponent, and it would be enjoyable enough for them to waste someone else’s time, or make them wisely quit and allow them to technically win by forfeit. But since this was very much in fact the case, I must point out it is astonishing that the developer simply allowed these players to ruin his good little game when it could’ve easily been fixed with small adjustments that probably would’ve took less than a day of work. Here are just a couple easy solutions to this problem to prove my point although I could list more. 1. The game has these wind coins that help players by refilling a tank of air that is used to propel your plane forward, when a player collects one of these wind coins, it disappears for a certain amount of time, therefore when it comes to running players, you can’t catch them because they’re able to collect these wind coins that the chasing plane cannot. In this example, all the developer would have had to do is change a piece of code to make it so the wind coin never disappears so that the chasing plane could collect it as well, then when it comes to runners it could’ve been a fun race to hunt them down, in this scenario players would just stop running because it just wouldn’t work to avoid losing. 2. There is a map in the game called Deathmatch which is just a small little room intended for quick games with intense action and no where to hide. Instead of the game ending in draw when an opponent runs away, with just a little bit of coding work, the developer could’ve made it so that players are transferred to this death match room instead to finish the game, these are two of the easiest ways to solve this problem that I can think of, I could think of dozens more that would take more code and more characters to describe here than the App Store allows. But I think I made my point, it’s so easily didn’t have to be this way, I contacted the developer about this, and he was kind enough to respond back, the reason he gave me for not doing anything about this problem was essentially it was just too late, and the player base is now too low, despite the fact that the developer seems to be a kind hearted guy, with good intentions I can’t give this game anymore than two stars, the only people it’s worth trying to enjoy it with now is your own family around holidays. The game could have been so much more than it was had the developer put in that little bit of extra effort that would have been worth all the rest while he still had the chance or the will to do so. I respect the fact that he’s now retired that I hope he enjoys, but I needed to point out one of this games biggest shortcomings because of how disappointing it is knowing how easily it could have been avoided. Update: I gotta give the developer a little credit that he’s still trying to keep this game alive, even though I’m sure there’s no real money being made on this game, so he’s basically working for free. The Everything unlocked free on Friday was a nice try, but unless Apple can get Game Centre working properly again it’s looking like the end for this game, I’ll try to get friends and family to give it a shot while it’s still somewhat working.

Great game but Pay to win. Not fair for those who don’t spend money. Otherwise it is surprisingly fun and entertaining. Good selection of maps and ammo. 3/5 only because it’s nearly impossible to win against someone who pays.

Connecting but rarely ever connects
Now the tib is as useless as the developer. One shot & the tibs dead. Developer is clearly a loser will always blame the players as is the rule. While the dev/owner plays without ever losing a point & keeps disconnecting but never gets a “flake”. Will be reporting to Game Center for unfair & biased conduct against paying customers. Developers such as this shouldn’t be allowed on Game Center at all. The fact remains that this game will have a 1:50 chances of actually connecting to a player. The rest of the time it’s just the pinwheel of death & “connecting”.
Awesome game!… but controls are strange
For Mobile players like me the whole turn your phone/iPad is weird because if I start at, say a sideways angle when I turn the iPad up right the plane glitches, and more like the plane at a perfect strait angle it turns left or right. that’s why I want a joystick. But the game is great! I’ve flown paper planes and toy planes for years and this game is perfect! I’ve always wanted to do toy plane battles for a real long time and now I have it.
great game gone bad
i write this review because I used to love this game, the gameplay can be amazing, but developers permit such bull with cheaters [ litterally players that will not die, they will quit midgame without concequences to stats and now, players that will just respawn in other parts of the map whenever they are in trouble ] and this without mentioning the horrendous match engine at the start - whole minutes go by to get to get matched and play, only to get stuck with a cheating troll. If you, developer, just don't care about your game anymore, just sell it, or have the decency to take it down. Just a waste of a good concept.
When you press pause
There’s a bug where you press the pause button and you try to press “resume game” and “settings” and “end game” nothing happens please fix this bug!

Spawn killing jerks
The game is great except for the spawn killers. I’ve played this game from the beginning. I held a very high position for a long time. I NEVER spawn killed, and always helped teach the newbies how to play by allowing them to chase and even shoot me down. Why you haven’t addressed spawn killers is beyond me. It ruins the game because it takes a long time to get matched. Couldn’t the developers allow a longer period of time after spawning to gather ammo before you can be hit?

The servers are terrible! When my friend and I wreck our plane or just randomly it kicks you out saying you won.

I’ve loved this game ever since I downloaded it years ago. I really recommend it. Even if you lose have fun! Although I wish there were more players it’s always 10 or 11.
The company doesn’t care anymore
This USED TO BE A GOOD, ENGAGING GAME. Not anymore. Don’t bother. You can’t even build your skill anymore. All you do is wait for a player to show up that almost never does.

I have been playing this game since the first month that it launched. Over the last several years I have continued to play on and off. There’s nothing like playing multiplayer, playing against players that may be in China or the other side of the country. It’s not a perfect game and it does run off of Internet so if the person you were playing has a crappy Internet connection it’s going to be a crappy game. I have seen a few players complaining about hacks there are no hacks I’ve been playing this game a long time and players like that pretty much don’t understand how good you can get or how much internet can mess the game up. I ran into Brian green stone the developer of the game just yesterday while playing. Good game Brian. How about 2 new levels lol.
Too many jerks playing this game
This game has been taken over by people who evidently live in their parents’ basements and have spent thousands of hours eating Hot Pockets and figuring out every possible trick to exploit gross, serious weaknesses in the game software to avoid getting hit by even a gargantuan flurry of 50-80 rubberbands. See, the auto-aiming—which you’re FORCED to use (no manual option exists)—is laughably bad. These morons have figured out how to flick their planes rapidly to almost completely foil any attempt to hit them with any weapon. Don’t believe me? Try flying a Quad—which the developer lies and says is just as accurate as any other plane. You can be flying straight at a Dart, he’s not even dodging, you can fire 40 rubber bands, darts, anything, and they will ALL MIRACULOUSLY MISS. It’s such a load of crap! Then, of course, even though your Quad has far heavier armor than the Dart, and is much more massive, the two planes collide head-on and your Quad is THROWN VIOLENTLY into the nearest obstacle or wall, and you die. The rinky-dink Dart is UNTOUCHED. This also happens to the Quad when it passes by a floating mine. You can COAT any other plane with darts, and it will survive them. But a Dart or other plane has but to hit a Quad with maybe five or six darts and the Quad will be devastated if not shot down from full health. This game needs an option to turn off auto aiming and just let the player aim straight ahead. The way it works now, you cannot even “lead” another plane, because the truly stupid AI aiming thinks it knows better than you do, and sends off all your ammo to ridiculous corners of the field. And god forbid you as a Quad fire a salvo of missiles! They automatically slam directly downward or to the side, instead of AT your target! The game needs a lot of work.
Pretty good but needs a few things
Love the game and think it's really good but don't like the shooting button placement. It's too low...most times I have an ai or real person plane in view but I'm like how come I can't shoot and I realize the button isn't where it should be...maybe try moving it up a few inches...
