Could be better
The app is great, except for the fact that when I got a new phone, I had to start again from the beginning and lost all my progress. Secondly, the slider to adjust how often a word is used is too close to the bottom and is difficult to move without sliding the screen around. The slider should be a higher and not touching the sides of the screen so that the window doesn’t move or slide.

Need more information about the features
I’m enjoying the Nemo app, but would it kill the developers to put in information about how to actually operate it? For instance, there is a bar at the bottom that goes from red to blue, hot to cold. I couldn’t find any information on the app itself about what this means and how to use it. There may be more future features that I’m unaware of which is frustrating.

I was leaving a positive review for this app because I was learning phrases instead of just words. Not 2 seconds after I left the review, they blocked me from using without updating to the “PAID” version. If you don’t plan to buy, don’t bother.

lacks customization
This program is great for limited vocabulary building. Word choice suggests it is designed with young adults in mind as words used my mature adults are less emphasised. Although additional vocabulary is available there is no facility for personalisation or adding words suitable for a profession or career which is unfortunate.

I know pronunciation is important and mine isn’t great, but I can’t figure whether it likes it or not. It’s given me about 5 words (hello, goodbye, please, thank you and one or two others. I’ve been learning on Duolingo for a couple years and can’t believe my pronunciation is so bad that I can’t get past these words. Seems like a waste of time

I don’t have time to focus on reviewing written flash cards, and I don’t do well with pure audio-only, this is the best of both worlds! I can hear the word and see it written the first few times, so I know how it’s spelled. Very nice :-)

Would have given this app a higher rating, but cannot assess paid version on iPad AND cannot connect to their app support.

Great Universal Program
Nemo does a good job for multiple languages. This gives a lot of word choices and you can choose how many to work on in a day, and play them on a reel or use like flash cards.

OK so I have a trying a bunch of apps to learn French this is one of the worst ones because when you say the word through the microphone I don’t know if I said it good or if I said it bad it doesn’t say if I’m saying it right fix this make it like you would learn in the classroom the way you did it made me freak out

На мой взгляд, для серьёзной помощи в изучении не годится. Знаю разговорный язык, училась и работала в Париже. Многие фразы говорят, например, в двух распространённых версиях. Здесь всегда значится только одна. Лексика слишком простая и больше по учебнику, а не из реальной жизни. Скорее поможет туристам, чтобы выучить элементарные слова/фразы

Used this to learn French a few months before traveling to Paris. Many options to learn, no annoying ads, works great 👍🏻
Doesn’t function properly
When using this many words are dropped and are not audible - don’t know why, tried to contact them with the issue but like so many apps they just take your money and that’s it.

Good for Begginers
This app is my start to learning French. I’ve already learned a lot, but I do wish I didn’t have to pay for more words and phrases to learn. If you want to start learning or are a beginner, this is a good app to start with! Some of these words are harder to understand, though. I can’t always understand the pronunciation of a word or phrase. But other than these things, great app! Merci! Edit: Some of the phrases and words, are not the most common French phrases or words. Take as “Avec plaisir” as an example, it’s mostly just used in Southern French and not the easiest or most common way of saying “You’re Welcome.” Why not use “De rien?” But it’s not the biggest problem.

Doesn’t work after iOS update
Hi. Wasn’t quite sure where to send it. Useful app, however I had my device updated yesterday and today the app would not play. I can open it, I can check my stats, when I go to play app just switches itself off. Same with your German app. Not happy as I paid a subscription and I do like tilt use it.

Finally bought the ‘Full’ version, a little disappointed, could have more. Such as the numbers section does not even give all numbers up to 100!

BEST French app found and using it daily before trip in July 2023. Intuitive learning to build language base. Highly recommend Actually, I was unable to open application on my IPad and this is currently a scam.

The app worked well to start with, and then stopped working, very frustrating considering it cost £18.... I would not recommend this app
