Es war eine tolle App
Sorry ich hab vergessen meine Bewertung raus zu nehmen, nachdem Sie die Fehler behoben haben, an sich eine echt tolle App
Buggy…
… as for the last 10 years. It’s oke once it’s all set up with sync etc., ignoring the occasional sync failure and loss of all sync. Developer been notified on multiple occasions on bugs, but no fixes. Unfortunately not much else on the market w.o. subscription.
Zufrieden
Macht was es soll und ist schön schlicht in weiß gehalten. iCloud Sync funktioniert bei mir bisher einwandfrei. 4 Sterne, weil ich mir noch einen Dark Mode wünsche sowie einen automatischen Tastaturen Wechsel im Lernmodus. Beim Vokabeln eintragen wird automatisch die richtige Tastatur angezeigt, genau das wünsche ich mir beim Lernen auch. Dann gibt’s 5 Sterne :-) Weiter so!
Super App, bis auf die Sync-Funktion
Ich habe mittlerweile Stunden verbracht den Sync zum Laufen zu bekommen. Unter iCloud dauert der Sync grösserer Vokabelhefte Stunden und bricht dann leider meist irgendwann einfach ab oder die App friert ein. Unter Dropbox habe ich dann zwar irgendwann eine erfolgreiche initiale Synchronisation geschafft, aber nach dem letzten Update komme ich jetzt beim Start der App in eine Autentifizierungsschleife, die sich nur durch Löschen der App und komplette Neueinrichtung beseitigen lässt. An den Entwickler: Bitte bauen sie die Sync-Funktion neu. Das aktuelle Konstrukt ist leider absolut unbrauchbar. Andere Entwickler schaffen es auch das so zu implementieren, das die Synchronisation robust und performant funktioniert. Ich habe die App sowohl auf dem Mac als auch iPhone und iPad. Es wäre wirklich sehr hilfreich, wenn ich die Stände der drei Geräte automatisch abgleichen lassen könnte. Die App an sich ist top, da ist es echt sehr schade, dass die Sync-Funktion den Gesamteindruck so drastisch mindert.

Absolut unbrauchbar und miserabler Servnice
Die alte Version iVocabulary HD war ja ein wenig antiquiert, aber sie funktionierte wenigstens. Der Kauf von iVocabulary 3 ist ein totaler Flop. Der Import des Vokabelbestandes aus der alten Version ist nicht möglich oder nicht dokumentiert. Beim Versuch die Vokabeln, die ich früher im Internet bereitgestellt habe führt zu vielen Abstürzen. Anfragen beim Hersteller werden nicht beantwortet. Daran hat sich auch nach dem letzten Update unter IOS8 nicht geändert. Die Ignoranz des Anbieters ist schon erstaunlich.
Sehr schönes, fokussiertes Layout. Gute Trainings-Funktionen. Ausbaufähig.
Ich wünsche mir, dass die Vokabeln in der App automatisch übersetzt werden können, ohne woanders nachschlagen zu müssen und super wäre es, wenn die richtige Aussprache abgespielt werden könnte. Wenigstens für die englischen Vokabeln. Danke für die tolle App!
Und es geht weiter
Leider ist im Moment kein Fortschritt erkennbar. Abstürze alleine in fünf Minuten 3x. Das kann es bei einem Preis von 4,49 nicht sein. Webinterface wurde seit 2010 nicht optimiert (Neuanlage bietet nur Englisch-Deutsch - es muss also über App angelegt werden) Bis jetzt noch nicht einmal Rückmeldung des Entwicklers. Im Moment nicht wirklich zu empfehlen
Bitte nicht löschen!
iVocabulary 3 hat mir jahrelang sehr, sehr geholfen und treueste Dienste erwiesen. Obgleich die Nachfolge-App verglichen mit ähnlichen Apps anderer Anbieter auch gut ist, kann ich persönlich mit iVocabulary 3 wesentlich besser, schneller und effizienter lernen als mit iVocabulary 4 und hoffe daher inständig, dass diese App noch lange nutzbar ist. Sie ist für mich persönlich deutlich unkomplizierter zu bedienen als die neue App. Ein Beispiel: Bislang sind leider nur mit dieser Version sind Färbungen von Textteilen möglich, was mir beim Lernen extrem hilft. Um Wörter bei iVocabulary 4 kursiv oder fett zu machen, muss man manuell Sonderzeichen ( z. B. „*“) eingeben. Mit dieser Version ist dies unkomplizierter. Ich bete daher, dass uns diese bereichernde alte App noch lange erhalten bleibt.
Tolle App, toller Entwickler
Top Funktionalität, die motiviert die neuen Vokabeln einzupflegen und in den Wortschatz zu trainieren. Und der Kontakt zum Entwickler bzgl. Kleiner Verbesserungen und Family Sharing ist super! Danke!
Good app and so bad costumes service
I have bought this app but. It was working until I changed my iPhone. I’m not able to use it anymore because every time it’s ask me to restore purchases and I’m not able to restore my purchase I have contacted with the developer has response so slow and is not able to find a solution so that I will commend you not to waste your money in this app. I have this problem since three months
Vokabeln laden nicht mehr
Liebes Entwicklerteam der App iVocabulary, Ich nutze ihre App nun schon seit ein paar Monaten & war bisher auch zufrieden. Allerdings laden meine bereits über 18000 eingetragenen Vokabeln nicht mehr. Ich kann diese nicht mehr öffnen. Was kann ich tun ? Die App löschen und nochmal neu laden ? Oder sind dann all meine Vokabeln auch weg ? Liebe Grüße
Gute App mit Synchronisationsproblemen über iCloud
Leider reagiert der Entwickler in kleinster Weise auf Anfragen, auch wenn sie freundlich gestellt werden. Ohne funktionierende iCloud-Synchronisation ist die App für mich weit weniger wert. Zum Glück habe ich nicht auch noch die Mac-Version gekauft.

Top App
Ich nutze die App für meine Vocabeln um parallel zu den klassischen Sprachlernapps die Vocabeln zu speichern, für mich zu strukturieren und zu wiederholen. Es wäre schön, wenn man die Reihefolge der Vocabeln auch im Nachgang in den einzelnen Lektionen noch verändern könnte. Wäre für die Strukturierung schön. Ansonsten simple, übersichtlich, aber alles was man braucht.
Anwendung katastrophal
Ich habe diese App (In-App Kauf) für 7,99 im November 2016 gekauft. 2-monatige Verwendung hat funktioniert. Dann gab es keine Verwendung mehr, also eine Pause. Nun wollte ich sie wieder erneut in Einsatz bringen. App wieder aus "Einkäufe" runtergeladen und versucht den In-App Kauf zu aktivieren, damit ich mehr als nur 30 Vokabeln eintragen kann. Also: Einkäufe wiederherstellen - grüner Haken - Freischaltung erfolgreich .... ABER von wegen... es klappt nicht. Nun stehe ich da und es sieht so aus als ob ich nur die Möglichkeit habe ein zweites Mal den In-App Kauf durchzuführen. Das ist eine absolute Schlechtleistung!!! Erwartet also nicht, dass ihr, wenn ihr das Geld ausgebt, auch wirklich dauerständig diese App nutzen könnt. Könnte man Minus-Sterne vergeben - ich würde es machen! (Mein erster Eintrag dieser Art, aber ich denke in diesem Fall sollten potentielle Käufer gewarnt werden)
App gut/Support nicht vorhanden
Super gemachte app. Schade, kann man nicht in .doc oder .pdf exportieten. (Für den Preis!)
Vom Entwickler aufgegeben, leider nicht (mehr) empfehlenswert
Die Hauptfunktionen arbeiten soweit recht gut. Es gibt jedoch einige, recht nervige kleinere Fehler. Beispielsweise startet das Programm auf dem Telefon nur im Hochformat korrekt, im Querformat bleibt die Liste leer. Nach einem Start im Hochformat kann man ohne Probleme auch das Querformat nutzen. Ein anderer Fehler betrifft unvollständige Daten beim Transfer über WLAN. Umbenannte Kategorien werden nicht übernommen, ebensowenig wie deren Färbung. Das größte Manko ist jedoch, daß das Programm offenbar vom Entwickler aufgegeben wurde, denn es erfolgt keinerlei Reaktion auf gemeldete Fehler und die letzte Aktualisierung ist zudem schon lange her.

La possibilité de valider un mot même faux, après coup, est indispensable et pourtant absente. Une petite mise à jour ne serait pas de trop. Sinon excellentissime.
Sehr gutes Vokabelheft
Habe einige schon gesehen aber das hier hat alle Features zusammen. sehr angenehm auch alles wie zb. Die Schrift selber einstellen zu können.
Total unintuitiv.
Habe es nicht geschafft, eigene Vokabeln zu trainieren, das UI ist mir ein Rätsel, Erklärungen gibt es nicht.

mit der Web ID ist das irgendwie so eine Sache, kann keine Datei hochladen oder dann kommt dass die Verbindung fehlgeschlagen ist. Via I Tunes kann ich es irgendwie auch nicht ins Programm holen und über Dropbox geht es bei mir auch nicht. Hatte mir wieder mehr erwartet. Unter einer früheren Version hat es funktionniert aber plötzlich war alles weg und nix ging mehr. Schade eigentlich. Wäre sonst ein tolles Programm
Super App, ABER...
...die Texteingabe funktioniert furchtbar!!! Ich gebe meine Vokabeln selber ein, und die Tastatur spinnt total!!! Nach jedem Buchstaben bleibt sie für eine Sekunde hängen, sodass einige Buchstaben beim schnellen Tippen gar nicht erkannt werden!!! Bitte ändern!!!

Nicht benutzbar
Achtung! Abzocke! Wenn man schon bezahlt, hat's zu funktionieren. Wie in vorherigen Rezession beschrieben, funktioniert die Synchronisierung nicht. Möglicher Weise funktioniert's ja mit professioneller Hardware... Von der Idee her ist das Programm wirklich gut, Umsetzung eher erbärmlich.... besser Finger weg! Für das Geld der reinste Betrug!

Klasse - nur keine Sync-Funktion mehr
Tolle LernApp für alle Inhalte - nicht nur für Vokabeln. ABER: Sync mit Mac oder IPad klappt nicht mehr. Fehlermeldung. Bitte, lieber Entwickler, hier muss abgeholfen werden.
Que de temps gâché !
J’utilisais avec satisfaction la version 2 et j’ai acheté la version 3 en toute confiance pour OS X et iOS (iPad et iPhone). Je n’aurais pas dû ! LA SYNCHRONISATION par Dropbox ou iCloud est une catastrophe pour les leçons créées avec cette dernière version : des mots disparaissent ou apparaissent en double sur tous les appareils synchronisés. J’ai écrit au développeur pour le lui signaler, mais mes courriels sont restés sans réponse. Vous pouvez donc créer vos leçons, mais gardez-vous bien de les synchroniser avec un autre «device». Que le développeur se fasse aider s’il ne maîtrise pas l’implémentation de cette fonction de synchronisation via Dropbox ou iCloud ! Si vous connaissez un autre moyen de procéder à cette synchronisation (avant cela passait par iTunes), je suis preneur.
Great language learning app
I’ve been using this app to study a tribal language for a few years now. building the language database is a breeze. It has been a big help to me. Good product support and consistently improving and removing bugs. Price has gone up since it’s invention, but so has the quality of the product. Contrast to BYKI which costs $90 USD and does not sync will with mobile devices worth a bean. Everyone should have ivocabulary.

Bonjour, En fait, iVocabulary est une App très aboutie et on peut (donc) vous comprendre car tout à coup l'outil est capricieux. Mon avis est que : (1) rien n'empêche de transférer les fichiers via iTunes (c'est toujours comme avec les anciennes versions) et (2) être resté sans réponse du support est peut-être dû au fait qu'on est en période de fêtes. Je compatis mais je souhaite aussi recommander cette App. Je l'utilise depuis le tout début, d'ailleurs j'utilise toujours les autres versions selon mes besoins. Elle est très polyvalente et souple. On peut même travailler l'écrit du chinois pour des mini-phrases, et donc s'entraîner pour des structures/motifs syntaxiques et des tournures particulières "indomptables". De plus, l'utilisation optionnelle et complémentaire du logiciel ProVoc sur un Mac est très appréciable car léger, intuitif et efficace. Bon apprentissage ! De la part d'une spécialiste en NTICE ;-)
Keine Sync-Funktion
Einige Kinder Krankheiten wurden (endlich) behoben. Aber nun werden meine Geräte (Mac, iPhone, iPad) nicht mehr synchronisiert. Vom Entwickler, wie schon früher, keine Antwort.

Way awesome, here's why...
I've tried using many software apps to learn Spanish and German vocabulary words. This app is the best one, by far, and even allows you to download already made vocab lists. This app follows the program ProVoc. So if you have a Mac computer, these two can be paired.

Scheitert schon daran ein neues Wörterbuch in der gewünschten Sprache anzulegen. Gleich wieder gelöscht
More Impressed with the old one
Finally bought this, and it is great! BUT Please make it easier/faster to change font size with these slow plus and minus buttons. (Flash cards are by default NOT big and easy to read.) New labeling system is good, though I prefer labels not based on word class, rather gender (der die das in German). I only ever use the slide show. Gripes: - Font size on slide shows needs to be huge - Sound not playing with word during slide show.
Mauvaise qualité pour le prix
La synchronisation est tres difficile à faire fonctionner. Il est donc presque impossible d'avoir le meme vocabulaire sur tous les appareils, et le service apres vente est inexistant, oubliez l'idée de vous adresser à quelqu'un en cas de problème. Finalement le concept est pas mal, mais le fonctionnement est terrible. On attend mieux d'une appli aussi chère...
Pretty good
There's a lot to like about this app. Flexible management of entries, many available books, various learning modes and tracking your progress. I'm learning Icelandic and I can see how this app has helped me improve my vocabulary. However, some things aren't quite as polished; I ran into curious problems trying to open different books I had downloaded that I could only resolve by deleting most of them (and of the remaining two, one shows a word count and the other doesn't?). Sometimes the language direction setting seems to be ignored too, and perhaps a relative progress overview would be a good addition to the current absolute numbers. Overall, a great app that I enjoy to use daily with a little room for improvement.
Great app
The best app to learn Chinese characters. You can even use the character drawing input function in iOS to practice writing characters as you learn. The app syncs with flashcards on your PC so you can create your own syllabus at home and then take it with you anywhere on your iPhone.
Sync ist eine Zumutung
Der Vokabeltrainer ist eigentlich nicht schlecht aber die Sync-Funktion über Dropbox ist dermaßen langsam dass die App unbenutzbar wird. Was um Gottes Willen dauert da so lange die paar Vokabeln zu synchronisieren?????

I use this app all the time for studying Greek and Hebrew. It is very useful and is getting better all the time. Great update!
Broken
Worked fine until the latest update. Now it does not recognize previously loaded study books and will not let me re-load them from my Mac. The iPad program will not recognize my Mac even though the WiFi settings are correct.
Almost there
Brilliant on iPhone and iPad. I use it constantly. Just can't get it to open after downloading on Mac.

tout est dit dans le titre !!! j'ai beaucoup profité de l'ancienne version et je viens juste de faire la maj. Je m'aperçois en lisant les commentaires que l'appli bugge pas mal. Merci d'y remédier au plus vite mais j'y crois pas trop car le support n'est pas très réactif !!! Par contre 5 euros pour une mise à jour pleine de bug, c'est juste une honte. Dommage, car il y a du potentiel et pas trop concurrent serieux hormis anki
