Get kick out of games because you can’t click out of some ads smh. They add AI difficulty cool. Game not Harder they just get better hands and your AI still bump on purpose when you up so you lose
Absolute trash!!!!!
It’s full of players losing on purpose. They match you up horribly as far as ratings go. And on top of that, when you wrote feedback the developers tell you they can’t do anything to fix it. Literally play any other spade app, this one is GARBAGE.

The ads make this game unplayable
I paid a premium in the previous version of this game to upgrade to Spades ++ which removed the ads. I added a new iPad to my account but was unable to restore to the ad-free version. The game play is fantastic, but the ads are awful and the cost to remove the ads is a ridiculous subscription model. Not a satisfied customer.
Has gotten worse
This is prob the best spades game but the bots are terrible! It’s also infested with ads. I wish the bots had some type of strategic way of playing. Also please make a version where there’s no NIL there are way too many NILs, it ruins the fun.
Words to choose from
I wish we could add the option to click the word “sorry” can we please add this word? Sometimes when I mess up, I wish I could hit the word sorry but all you have is the word ouch. So I guess I just wish there was one more word option. Thank you.
Ads out of control
It has been ridiculous that for a long time ads that appear you have to click out 3 times to get back to the game, now adds, especially Rhoback, is so long you get booted from the game. When you try to report problems, it tells you to configure an email, but no way to do so
Improvement needed
Great game that is frustrating because so many players quit the game early when their team starts losing. There should be penalties for this. It should decrease their points 2x and doing it often should lead to enforced time outs.
Ads too long
I understand having ads in a free game, though they are often too long and you get booted from the game. Also, I got banned from changing my nickname! I was using a nil pun and it must have gotten reported by someone thinking it was a pun referencing something else. I was the illest niller. Like, what's wrong with that?!?
Good game, Ads are impossible to close
Good game and is great way to learn how to play. Unfortunately the ads for the game do not present a button to close them even after waiting for several minutes. This results in having to force close the game to keep playing, which kicks you out of any multiplayer game. All ad free options are subscription based only.

Something’s off -
I’ve played a lot of spades, and I know the game well enough to recognize when something doesn’t feel right. Every time I start winning and build up a good streak, I suddenly get matched with players who seem to play in a way that makes it almost impossible to win. I can usually predict what’s left in the deck, and I’ve noticed that when I bid nil, opponents repeatedly seem to know exactly when to dump their highest cards to break my nil. It’s happened over and over, to the point where it no longer feels random or fair. Whether it’s the matchmaking or something else behind the scenes, the experience feels manipulated instead of skill-based. I don’t mind losing to good players, but I do mind feeling like the game changes the odds once I start winning. Until the gameplay feels more transparent and consistent, I can’t recommend this app.
Extremely long ads
This app used to be great, and while I understand that advertisements may be necessary, the ads have become far too long. They should be short enough that users aren’t forced out of active games. I have repeatedly been booted from games because I can’t bypass the ads quickly enough to return to bidding or continue playing. This has become extremely frustrating and significantly impacts the overall user experience. Please consider shortening the ads or allowing users to skip them after a few seconds so gameplay isn’t interrupted.

Good game but frustrating because after every hand their are ads. They take too long or won’t let you return to the game and you get booted. Especially the “what’s it”- this leaves me hating the company that is buying the ads. Figure out a better way

i would rate this 4-5 stars if the ads get fixed, but too many often times it seems when i am about to win a game the ads between rounds freeze resulting in a loss. happens too often and needs to be fixed. this problem has been ongoing for months now and i haven’t had a problem with it before the last year or so. debating on deleting if this issue continues.

Used to enjoy this game but recently when I play a rated game, after the first hand I get a 30 second long ad that I can’t close. The length of the add results in me being booted from my game. So I literally can’t play. I’m used to the ads between hands but they’re never been this long and never resulted in me being booted from games.

Ads in the middle of game play
What happened with the ads? It used to be that you’d see an ad between hands. Annoying? A little. But it’s a free app so whatever. All of a sudden, ads have started popping up right in the middle of playing. I’ll play a card and then an ad pops up and when it’s gone, the other cards have all been played and I can’t see what they were. It’s been a good run but after 8 years I’m deleting this game.

It can be a lot of fun if you play with folks that really want to play. Many times you will get players that leave the game simply because they are losing.
Joke
This app is a joke. The gameplay is one of the best on the AppStore, but the moderator’s have way too much control. You can have your chat banned—which is fine. You can have the ability to change your nickname/screenname/etc also banned. They already have rules in place that don’t allow you to have inappropriate names— which makes sense. However, I would change my name to my record (to give my potential partners an idea of my skill level) and they banned that. I’d honestly recommend pretty much any other version of this game now that this one has clearly taken the facist approach and want to feel in control.

Love the games A-Star makes, but the ads in Spades (especially when compared the Euchre and Hearts) is WAY to frequent. It disrupts the flow of game play. After 1 game I’ve stopped playing and will search for another app.

When a player quits, the hands they pay are awful, its so frustrating. If a player quits they should be stripped of all their points or be banned from the game for the rest of the day. It ruins it for the other players.

Amazing game but stupid programming
The game is amazing and I enjoy playing it with computer but whoever did the programming doesn’t know how to play it right for example any time I bid for zero or blind zero, my partner would cut something with his hand ghost spades and falling short to cover me later in that game or he starts playing with his lowest suits?, it seems like your partner is playing against you most of times or he would get much more than he bid and puts me in trouble of collecting spare points that would lead us to lose 100 points later on as we play.
