What people like
- Great for reconnecting with old friends
- Fun way to meet new people
- Nice community feel for regulars
What they complain about
- App freezes and crashes constantly
- Ads play randomly during chats
- Support never actually responds to help
Good app
The best
Wasn’t broken, but they fixed it anyway
Newest version crashes on MacBook pro to the point of having to uninstall all versions on the device and reinstall the newest version, which also crashes, and when open, now blocks access to adult themed rooms. As a paying subscriber, this is a bridge too far.

Paltalk is a Cesspool for Hackers
Most recently, Paltalk has become very unsafe, as it exploits and manipulates the vulnerable (i.e. mentally ill individuals) and, it rewards room owners that maintain high room numbers, by any corrupt means. Most worrisome, Paltalk has become a cesspool for hackers: and, it permits unwanted attacks on smart devices. And, Paltalk permits extreme racial hate against minorities (i.e. African-Americans and African descendants) Recently, Paltalk has engaged in an adverse action, in retaliation, as my sound has now been censored in all rooms.
Mostly fun but a few annoying things…
The app is similar to CamFrog some of the same features but a lot of differences — on CamFrog I like that you can see who’s viewing you on a regular account on PalTalk you have to pay for the extreme membership and it’s not cheap! I guess for someone who uses it all the time that’s fine but I’m more of a casual user but seeing “someone else is viewing you” is kinda lame.. it should be a lil cheaper for the options to see who’s viewing you for the ability to view more than one cam & no adds, I could see paying around $8 a month would be worth it but not 11.99! That’s more than I pay for Apple Music & I use that app everyday! Also when I’m watching someone on the featured screen when I go to tap on their username to pull up the options like view profile stop viewing etc. 95% of the time it’ll immediately switch to another cam when I tap the screen that really needs to be fixed & when you try to tap the tiny x in the little viewing box to close that cam a lot of the time it’ll move that person to the featured spot instead of closing it that needs some work too and finally the “view cams” menu, when you try to scroll through it it constantly changes everyone’s spot on the list it’s really annoying and lastly I feel an option to move your cam into the featured spot would be great using an iPhone the screen is small it’s nice to be able to see yourself in a larger spot to adjust & stuff :)
Renewing daily
I have been having some trouble with this Paltalk, but it’s getting better I have enjoyed Paltalk for many years and they have most wonderful fellowships. I would really like to see it grow and become bigger again it’s under a new ownership now.
Missing icon of user
Paltalk is old platform and lack of modern technical control. Problem happen very often, it’s alway freezing. And I am unable to see many user in the chat room because the icon of user at upper right corner has been removed. My room subscription is $500+ for 3 Mics, and we setup Auto Reddot, but now I can’t even unreddotted myself in the room even though I am an admin of the room. I contact tech support in JIRA but no response. Sliding to the left of the screen doesn’t work. Please fix. Thanks

Bugs
They are aware and in progess fixing 😊 App freezes when u open Pm...its useless
Latest version update is trash
The latest version has way too many bugs. It freezes, crashes, audio keeps reconnecting, among other things. Others are complaining about the same issues I am having. Fix it!
Xmtqt
Ata Vega
Newest update
Can’t even slide over to find people or look at profiles The new update blows
No se bajen este programa
Es muy costoso y cuando he comprado créditos paltak me los ha quitado , es un programa para sólo personas que tienen dinero de sobra
Don’t update if you have saved rooms
This update took my saved rooms and removed half of them. So be cautious about this update.
Please make an iPad version
Paltalk works good overall but it would be nice if there was a iPad version that would cover the whole screen and a dark mode Other than that its great. PS. You should take some tips from Camfrog they are pretty much exactly the same
creeps (i had to make it at the top)
caught one creep today an he was trying to do well if you know you know
Fix the room to stop profiles jumping around so when scrolling
Why can you not stop members in room from bouncing around while searching members? It gives me a headache. You cannot be fast enough to click on a profile. One second they are there and then the profile moves to another position on the mobile App!!
Happy As
It’s a unique opportunity to meet a vast array of wild interesting smart folks from all over. Thanks for the opportunity. JW
Removing account
Why do I have to jump through hoops for this team to delete an account?
Dishonesty
It as come to my sense that the app does section of Gender mostly for the BLACK which must be attend to without hesitation.
Unable to login
I am trying to login but it keep saying too many OTP requests Update: I figured it out
Watch your account
This app randomly charged me $10.77 although I signed up for nothing. They are a scam I’m warning you before you proceed
Diabolical app
Worked well on my iPad until about 8 weeks ago can hardly ever get to log in or on my iPhone.when eventually I do get on works good I have carried out all I was told to do delete app then add again hardly works .people leave messages they think I’m ok but I can’t reply!!!!!!
Paltalk
Paltalk seems to be getting worse. The latest update constantly crashes when cam changes. Also changes don’t allow you to click on the room links your friends are in on the iPhone.
Too many Adds!!!
Please stop those adds!!!
Rating
Much better than. Before, colored rooms should be shown as colored, also room with more users should come first after search
Poorly Managed
Far & away the most poorly managed app I've ever used. There's always something messing up or poorly thought out ( like the Jump To Present button you have to push to see text comments). The Select Video Layout Button doesn't work, constantly opens cameras and constantly changes the layout after you've picked a format. The mic up button don't work either, and freezes the app when you tru to use it. The Send A Gift and Share This Room popups are equally obnoxious. You still get obnoxious popup advertisements for sticker packs and surveys when you have an upgraded green nic too, so it's best not to buy one on this clown show chat app.
Wow i missed Pal
Been using Pal since 2005, I’m glad I can use it on my phone and I managed to recover my old account and caught up with old mates, mobile app is glitchy but I’m enjoying my chit chats on the old laptop 😊
Intermittent sound
Can’t hear a song without sound going on and off constantly, please don’t try saying it’s my internet connection because it works very well everywhere else
Maintenance
The app is awesome, but all the maintenance they do never seems to fix the bugs and crashes. And they force you to update the app to a newer version or you will not be able to login.
bugs
cams cant be open from mobile paltalk
Reported false for the great cause
They can’t use rated chat room be against them leader.
Nice and great apps
I always been using this apps 😍😍 very nice 👍
Hi
Hi
Yes
To many adds and jam a lot if you switch quick
😂 2004-2009
Old days
Constant crash after update
This last update is a non stop crash after 5 minutes .
Massing
Hhhhhhhhhhhhh
Not reliable
System freezes a lot and boots you completely out a lot. Many abusive, ill mannered peeps with an immature abusive mind and intention that are consuming most of the population System definitely needs work not to mention that if u don’t pay for their pic gifts u r restricted within your privacy options
Functional errors
-The ‘ignore’ function is not working as it should work, actually it does not work at all on the iOS platform. -The back camera is in mirror mood which make it confusing to the user.
Rating
Excellent
Very frustrating
I was using Paltalk for a long time. But today, I couldn’t open it totally. I tried different devices with no success. There is no one to reach to for help. Very frustrating.
Hi
Thanks
Horrible to continue
Ad after ad in iPad ...unbelievable..difficult to use
Bofff
Bouffff
Great App
Lovely is all I can say No long talk
Very bad update
Have been trying to send a message and it’s not going though I can only video chat why is that? You have to do something about that please course this nor happening to me alone
Awesome
Love the app works like a charm
poor upgrade
lets see all the things worse off since the app got upgraded. -the ads that play, play at random times, even while you're in the room. and when you switch and it plays for a few secs, starts over, plays, starts over. -with the new way of "alerting" to PMs it can easily get overlooked. the other way when a green banner dropped was way more effective. -when in a PM, when i leave the conversation and come back, its like half of it just magically disappears even though you can tell by the responses it was there at one time. so it looks like the one person is having a conversation by themselves. -when can we ADMIN on mobile?
It’s good but
The app is ok works well has its moment but what pisses me off when you have discounts buying credits for gifts etc you never get them and if you email Paltalk no one responds if they did I’d more than likely rate this 5 stars but for now it’s only getting a 3 from me
