Is a very useful app in china
This app suck
Great map, just don’t buy anything from this platform, the refund process is like a scam.
Great App, could be better
Fantastic map app for visiting China. Loved the transit specific features and walking navigation. Would like if you could set custom categories for saved locations or set different icons instead of just a star. Would be easier if I could set a different icon for hotel, restaurant, shopping, etc. so I could plan my trips better.
Great app
Nice app for china
Unable to complete verification
While the map works, it’s just not able to complete verification with a Singapore mobile number. No matter what! I have tried many times it just wouldn’t send a sms verification code to my Singapore phone number.
There is now English setting
Unlike the phone version, for some reason there isn’t a English setting.

Not Motorcycle Friendly
A good APP overall, but only two stars because the English language version doesn’t allow navigation for motorcycles. I was routed onto a road on which motorcycles were not allowed, and got fined. The Chinese version has a motorcycle option, but like so many APPs in China, the English version has only a fraction of the functionality of the Chinese version. Add routing for motorcycles, and I’ll amend this review to 5 stars.
Putting notes when saving or marking the location
Currently there is no way to write any notes when I mark or save a location. It will be extremely helpful if I could do that so that when I review next time, I know what is specially about this place. For example, if I mark a restaurant, I can put a note to try certain dishes that someone recommend. Or a tourist spot, I can read from other’s experience and note down to say, for example, “walk anti clockwise around the park and do not miss the boat ride”
Very good
Amap is very good app
Registration Bug
Would love to create and account and use A map to pin locations but the account creation flow has a bug. Sending phone number 4 digit pin is always the same 1839. Tried email and WeChat account link as well with no avail.
No English version
Map looks fine but no English version on MacOS
Okay at best
It's ok for bare basics however many things are missing from the maps and directions are misplaced
Very good for Chinese travel
Google map is banned, although apples map also works decently, Amap has more features and is more convenient for traveling in China.
too much advertisement
too much ad, big slow and stupid
Missing Chinese pinyin keyboard
Hi team, can you update the bug in the app? I’m on the Chinese interface but my Chinese pinyin keyboard doesn’t not show up instead it shows other languages that I didn’t even setup on my iPhone.
Quite please!
The English version works well, but can we have the option to mute or turn on/ off the navigation audio, she just doesn’t stop talking, even with the navigation volume down to Zero. Also continues to effect music volume with the non stop talking! Used CarPlay in VW Passat.
Unable to enter specific address search.
You can't enter the specific address to search, you can't re-plan the route after deviating from the navigation, you can't choose to avoid the toll road and you can only choose to take the toll road as less as possible. I hope update these functions as soon as possible for Australia user
Registration not Possible
I get constantly prompted to register with my phone number. But there is no option to select my country code +61 (Australia) to receive my confirmation code. Confused…
