Really good and addictive game, BUT.
Jetpack Joyride has been one of the games that has made up some of my childhood. The gameplay is pretty addictive. That it got my dad onto it (though not for long). Nowadays, it’s still kinda going strong, I got back into it because I played Dan The Man, and they were offering a free Dan costume in Jetpack Joyride. So that’s why I kinda got into it and mobile games in general. Also, I LOVE the addition of “Barry’s secret stash”, if you can handle ads, it the best way to get free extra lives, coins and triple boosts. But, I have complaints. Ads aren’t as much of a problem then Dan The Man, but yet again, they CAN freeze your game. And it’s annoying. And the (Real world money) price in this game is pretty pricey, especially just for vehicle skins that has no effects that may help you in-game. (Reason why to just buy the coin magnet effect on your vehicles) There’s also NO reason to make a 3rd gadget slot to be priced, especially with a 4.99 price tag. But overall this game is addictive, and fun.
Still fun but too many ads
I used to play this game as a child and i figured it would be a good time to revisit it. Most of the base mechanics are the same which is cool. I think it’s really day that you paywalled the 3rd gadget slot when it used to be free to use. It’s also kind of insane the number of time they try to make you watch more ads or spend actual money on the game. This is a time killer, man, we’re not spending $2.99 for one single skin. It’s ridiculous. L sellout work
Lost progress
Downloaded the game after not having it for a while. Lost all the progress i made. Spoke to customer support and was told that they can’t do anything. It’s a shame because its a good game.

I used to play this game all the time. I recently purchase a new iPad and redownload this game and it’s not the same. I can’t utilize nothing that I purchase. I can’t change outfits. I don’t know what happened to this game and I have no save game progress anymore.

Game Freezes and Crashes
The game constantly freezes and crashes. When doing the daily SAM, the game will freeze and then when I restart the game. It takes me back to day 1 regardless of what day I was on before it froze. I have half a mind to delete the game because it’s more trouble than what its worth
Best thing of 2011.
This game is so fun and nostalgic, you can play it for hours and never get bored. Probably the best golden age mobile game ever. I played this game as a kid and have fond memories of it. This game isn’t milking you like modern mobile games. It is pure joy.

Pack joyride is the best
I love Jetpack joyride old game, but still good. I love all the mechanics the robots all the enemies. I love it all. That’s why I waited it five stars like if you agree. PS please add a robot that can destroy laser walls, but can’t destroy rockets and you have to dodge rocket

Game froze trying to watch an ad to get a revive, missed out on 11K+ coins.

I think this game is amazing, but the ads are annoying, and you need to pay for some stuff. Some of the powerups are anticlimactic but everything else is great.
Just Another Ad Server
It’s a decently fun time waster with easy gameplay, fun graphics, interesting events. But the bugs are frustrating (like losing sound after some ads), counters not incrementing until a restart, and losing random vehicles / getting stuck with only one vehicle type spawning over and over. Disappointed
I used to play this growing up when it first came out. I had unlocked everything in the game. But now you have to pay to get things that were already in the game. U pay for the no add version and it still makes u watch an add to get rewards of bonuses like hello? Didnt i just pay to not see adds in this game?
Fun!!!
It’s cool and nostalgic, when I had my iPad, it was always downloaded. The one problem I have with it is the quests. The quests (or I guess events) is that they change the gameplay. I just redownloaded it and wanted to play normally. There should be an option to play normally. Otherwise, it’s really fun and I really love it

It’s a really fun and addictive game, I just notice that after an ad, it comes up with the screen to buy “no ads” or “maybe later” and it keeps freezing on that screen. If I try and press either option nothing happens. It’s not that big of a deal because I just close the app and reload it but it is a little annoying. But I do like the game nevertheless.

Game/company ruined from greed
Used to play this in my childhood and I have good memories playing it. I haven’t played a halfbrick game in over 10 years. The first thing I see is “buy a subscription”. Are you kidding me? Like what? Now those memories are tarnished because of greed and trying to squeeze every last cent out of us. Why? Because they know no one will stop them, money matters more than player accessibility and experience, and because they know we are powerless to do anything. Yet another company hopping on the trend and realizing that they don’t have to care about anything but money because they know people can’t do anything about it. Heartbreaking tbh.

Not what it used to be
It’s still jet pack joyride and the game holds up as super fun. When you can actually play it. Absolutely plagued by ads and video offers and in app purchases are way too highly priced for what they are. Kind of sad to see such a classic end up this husk of itself

super fun game that brings me a lot of childhood nostalgia. however, the ad experience is absolutely unbearable unless you want to spend money on the game. i remember so many features that are now locked behind paywalls. a games advertisement experience should never be so obnoxious to the point where people are basically forced to pay, or uninstall. not to mention how many other halfbrick games i used to enjoy that are now behind a paywall SUBSCRIPTION system. it’s really disappointing to see a developer that used to make absolute bangers be reduced to ad spamming and subscription paywalls :/

Can’t get ads to ever play.
I’m enjoying the game it’s a classic, but I can’t get any sponsored ads to load, i can’t claim rewards from them and it’s very upsetting.

The amount of ads in this game is crazy. I have received 20 second unskipable ads just to play one game. Actual game is 5 stars, but the game won’t even let you redeem missions without watching ads. Again. Horrible. Ads.
