Recommending tracking and monitoring suspected cheating wife,Technology can be really really beguiling.There are so many apps and what not that promise awesome results if you can just get hold of your spouse’s device. This has always been a huge limitation for me as I’ve always wanted to see everything in my spouse’s device without getting hold of her phone or her finding out. She began acting suspicious and being all secretive and I decided that something drastic had to be done.Thank God, faz came my way after checking through positive reviews , how he helped a woman catch her cheating husband red handed.I reached him via his mail at TARGETSPYTECH (@) gmailcom and he requested for certain info such as my spouses phone number and phone model. Within hrs I got a notification popped up on my phone it was from Faz. he gave me a spy link which I accessed with my phone web browser there I was able to see all of her texts, call logs, WhatsApp, Snapchat, deleted conversation, social media shared pictures and videos etc as if I got her phone in my palms. It’s really a great opportunity to use the services of TARGETSPYTECH (@) gmailcom, if you got similar issues right now I’ll strongly advice you write him for an excellent spying and tracking services. This is the most highly recommended and genuine services that works efficiently than the spy apps.
Must Improve it on iPad OS
I use the app in Android and iPad OS. In Android it’s working 5 stars, but not the same opinion is for iPad OS. An example, I live in San Francisco, but the lockdown stuck me in South America since March 2020, but still in January 2021, my iPad stays visible for Prey in San Francisco (!!!). I must force a location update to see my iPad in South America. So, how would I know where is my iPad if it’s stolen in my actual city? You must improve that, it’s a big issue. Insist, in Android it’s great, it was the reason than I don’t qualify with 1 star.
A little confusing
I hope it does what it says it’s supposed to do. It is not easy to understand and set up. It’s repetitive and has to be filled in several times to make it take, and even then you feel you were just lucky when it finally says “You’re Protected”.

Prey app is really junk from my perspective
I have used the Prey app through the years but stop doing so and wanted to again use it to link up some of my Windows computers. However, I found the app electronically malfunctional. For instance, when I tried to remove an iPhone I no longer had, although I would get the menu in settingon some tries (one out of five) the app would just totally stop working, when I attempted to contact help to get help or to cancel my subscription it rejected my request and kept saying that my password (which I had used at that point at least a dozen times to sign in to try to access settings)was my invalid. It is a very unfriendly app on my iPhone.
Authenticator issues
Just one problem, every time I exit out of the app to grab my authenticator code, it makes me put in my password again. As secure as my password is, I have to copy it from BitWarden. Which means my authenticator code expires again before logging in. Can you fix this?
Frustrated
Forgot my password and it does not give me the option to send myself a new password through email. 😡😒

This is how you do it! Wait, no! NOT ready for M1/arm64/Apple Silicon.
The attitude, motivation and thinking of the author shows in multuple ways. The whole vibe of the app is great. Solid functionality, miminal annoyance, BUT not less than that! Has enough weight on the security side of the convenience vs security side of the balance scale. Wait! Major issues and glitches when run on my M1 mac (admittedly, it is designed for iPad, so only -1*): 1. Seems confused about location access: In Settings, I see (on the displayed map) that it knows where it is. BUT, on every launch, "Enable Location Access" pops up, AND clicking "Go to Settings" doesn't work well AND it shouldn't pop up because in System Preferences, my "Enable Location Services" is checked for Prey and in general. And I have to leave it running. But that's surely an Apple API issue - as is all of this, really, AFAICT, so I'm putting it back to 5 stars for now. Because I know the app does now and has worked flawlessly on iOS (on Touch, phone & pad) for ages. Update:Just wanted to add that there is an app for MacOS, but it won't run on my M1 because I don't have Rosetta installed -- as a precaution, for security reasons. Needs to be compiled as a universal app, which may or may not be simple, based on what I see re. other apps in github. (Also, I'm guessing it needs more work to be compatible with Apple's increasingly restrictive security models in new OS releases?)
Does literally nothing
I downloaded it and it was a nightmare. I’d push a button and it did nothing. After hitting the button 6-7x it would finally change screens. The one page I got to just registered my phone. No explanations. No instructions I’d constantly have to exit out of the one and only screen I could get to and had to sign in over and over. There are literally no options to do anything.
Resets every few system updates.
Have to check it often to ensure protection is on :/
Inconvenience
When Are use this app it automatically signs me out every once in a while. It is so annoying and so inconvenient. But at least this app works and does its job.
No support - customer service joke
After finding out this is incompatible with any other management software such as Microsoft 365 I asked for my account to be cancelled. My request was ignored and then they charged me full year membership! Still no response from anyone and now have to contact my bank to remove unauthorized charge. AVOID!

Battery hog
I love the concept. I have had prey on two other devices for quite a while. Added my phone and it started eating battery power like nothing else. Fifty-four percent usage across less than 24 hours. Disabled ALL options and features with no change. Nice try. Deleted it so I can depend on my phone again.
Great App!
I wish the camouflage features worked a little better. For example if it is pretending to be a band app the icon should change to a bank themed icon and when you open the app it will look like a mobile banking app login screen. Other than that it is great.
Locate device
Often, the device locate does not work because the device fails to communicate with the server. Also, the app lacks features and is slightly difficult to navigate.
No reconoce iPhone 7

Easy and Affordable
PREY free plan was all I needed to track my laptop and phone from one central web app. That said, you need to go through the process of getting a signed certificate onto your phone which can be complicated for people who aren’t as tech-savvy as I am.
Party’s Over B4 It Starts
Downloaded the app and cant even signup. 401 Error or Email invalid (do you have an account) error. I suggest they TRACK the problem.

Will not allow me to add iPhone
Whether I use my login credentials or the QR code, on my iPhone with OS16.4 I get the error “an SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made.” No help or other information is provided to fix the issue. Utterly useless.
Great Product
Friendly and easy to use
It just does not work
Every time I open this app whether on my phone or my Mac I get frustrated. I just got a new iPhone x and logged in and the app says I'm protected but the phone does not show up in my list of devices. This happened worth my previous phone as well and eventually it stated working but I'm sick of tech support emails. There has to be something better out there.
You’ll need a computer to download a certificate in order to use on iOS
Thinking the app would be a great tool if my iPhone or iPad are lost or stolen I’ve downloaded on both. Thankfully I didn’t upgrade to an annual plan as the app won’t work if my understanding is correct. In order for you to use the app on iOS you need to use Apple Push Notification Service by downloading Prey’s Certificate and then uploading it to Apple. Only issue I have is despite clicking on the image in order to download a plist file it will not work and I’m guessing it’s because you have to do this process on a computer or laptop. As I stopped using a laptop in favour of the iPad Pro two years ago I cannot use the full range of services provided until I go to the library and download the plist to then upload it to Apple in order to use Push Notifications. Not necessarily Prey at fault here but I think they could make it clearer.

Eu 3 tenho móbile e eu ia deletando sem querer então apertei o botão cancelar, olhei o celular estava lá normalmente, mas depois quando fui olhar de novo ele tinha sido deletado de todas as minhas contas do iCloud, muito cuidado ao deletar por engano pois o botão de cancelar não funciona, isso é muito grave tem que ser consertado , como posso comprar uma versão pro de vcs se o botão cancelar não funciona? Todo mundo comete erros, e a primeira vez que um aplicativo teve essa falha tão grave comigo
Good free security product
Installed this on some work computers for an event venue I work for. We had some computers stolen and this has given me some peace of mind that we'll be ready if it happens again.

After multiple times cannot logon. Difficult to trust an app that is incompetent from the start.

On occasion, says a device is unavailable or unable to contact it to update the location even when the device is the one logged on to my account. When it works, it works fine.

Useless for iOS
The application is great and it has many features. But it is useless for iOS. Everything works perfect, but in order to track the device the thief needs to open the app. The chances for him to open it are very low if not null. And if your device is protected with pin code then this app is just useless. Prey tries to solve this by opening a popup (while the device is turned on) or a notification (if the device is turned off) saying something like “Your bank state is ready” so the thief has to click it so the app can open and the location can be updated. I’m not saying this is Prey’s fault. iOS is a pretty closed operative system actually and leaves applications with a low amount of features to work with. Prey should try to think about another way to locate the device.

Good.... But demanding
Great app.... But it demanded I make a review, and when I chose not to, it ceased all functionality by not reporting my phones location. I hope it starts working again after I submit this review.
Don't get me wrong, I do love Prey, but it's better for laptops .
See, I have used Prey for a number of years on all my company's laptops and my home one. It works great. From my web control panel I can manage it easy. From the protected device there aren't any options except to log in, so I think some users are missing that they need the Prey Control Panel on the website. Also, if it's on a iPad with a password, unless a thief somehow unlocks it and hooks it up to wifi, it will never help you recover it. For phones the same. If a thief can't get into an iPhone they turn it off. Advice for any tracking app on an iPhone: Don't password protect your iPhone. Instead activate restrictions in settings so that some features like phone & games (or just games) can be used but no apps altered, deleted or added, no account changes, no reset, restricted with a password instead. This way, if your phone is ganked... That will encourage the thief to keep the phone and use it and connect it to wifi or use the cellular data (allow changes to wifi). With the Prey app running on your phone you can disguise it as a shooter game you need to log in to, so if it's noticed it'll just be passed over. All the time he thief uses your phone the phone is taking his/her photo and sending it to you over the wifi along with gps location and other info. Not as smoothly as Prey works on computers, since you have to take so many darn steps to make it work but once it's set up it WILL and DOES work to recover your phone. None of this info is very clear on the app and had I not known beforehand about Prey I would have trashed the app as useless garbage with no features, too. Look up Project Prey Control Panel on the web and set up your account there first, THEN log into the app your iPhone/iPad/iPod and go from there. There's a user forum that can help answer questions as well.
