- App breaks your phone audio
New App version stinks
The update to the new app that cam on a few weeks ago will not let me get rid of the notification “badge” no matter what fix I have tried. It makes me want to turn off notifications all together. News is good, app is really bad!
Absolute Useless
Nothing but advertisements constantly. Totally useless now.
Sound
I don’t want to hear ads when I read an article.
Bs
What happened to the local gas prices window?
Updates are phenomenal
I enjoy getting my news from WSFA but I’m not enjoying the notification music associated with the updates and I can’t find how to disable the noise.

Like the app
Change
I like the other layout much better than this one
Disappointed
I can not read the entire article before it blinks and I have to start over again. I don’t like the new slide advert where you quickly choose the article you want. But overall very happy. We’ve moved several times & I think we are blessed with our TV NEWS & TV WEATHER. Thank you!!!
Waaayyy too small!
Text is far too small and that dang rodeo ad pops up way too often!!! Trashing it….
Commercial breaks using app
When news goes to commercial, everything pauses. I wait over three minutes. Then I have to close app and try again following each commercial.
WSFA NEWS APP
I love WSFA NEWS APP they have the best news ever I met them all they’re good friendly people. I give them a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Newest update
Please go back to previous version. This new update is horrible with annoying ads that are more frequent and glitches in news stories where random videos and or ads will begin to play without being prompted to do so.
Needs a dark mode
App works great, it just needs a dark mode for the brightness
All audio stops when launching ☹️
**This is purely a review based on the app. I’m not reviewing the content of WSFA, the news they publish from the wires, or NBC.** -So many ads… I know the goal is monetization but the ads prevent the app from launching swiftly when I’m needing to quickly check the local news. -My biggest issue: ALL audio stops whenever I launch this app. I haven’t kept track of how long this has been happening but it’s been over a year, possibly a little longer. Music, Podcasts, Safari— any audio stops and I have to jump back to whatever was running and start it over. This is VERY annoying and it’s the only app I have that acts this way. I know my review might not been seen because the developer probably publishes a lot of apps, but I plan to uninstall the app soon because it breaks my workflow too much. I’ll definitely change my review from 2 stars to 5 if a fix is implemented! I know developing an app isn’t simply a cut-and-dry process; bugs are what they are and they stink. Please know it’s nothing personal!
WSFA
You’re going backwards! But on the positive side you’ve increase commercial ads! That’s what you want right? $$$$$ Theyv(WSFA) will take every opportunity for a commercial regardless of the content of the news item. Some news items should require a bit of humaneness
Ratings and reviews
Magnificent
It no longer reflects my views.
This app works well and has reverent news to read on it. This app most definitely seems to have more of a liberal leaning especially from the authors point of view on the story’s that I seem to click on. I am NOT OK with the liberal viewpoints on so many of these stories shoved down my throat so I will look for a news app that reflects my view point.
PRINT TO SMALL
The pint on this app is too small and not bold enough to read!

New App
I know you can’t please everyone but I don’t like this one. To me it is not easy to find articles and I can’t find a way to turn off a pop up that comes up a lot of the time about Peter Pan or at least the sound for it.
App is not for me.
For one thing, info is within a block. At that point there’s no search icon. I just don’t like it. I want as few steps as possible.
Disappointed
The updated app has lots of issues. Videos and adds play and can’t mute. Very disappointed with the new version.
For Apple TV only
The app for Apple TV is only partially functional. Viewers can watch the last news broadcast, but trying to watch the “Local News Live” option always ends with a video playback error message.
New version is worse than the old
The share feature doesn’t work.
Cant read news. Have to watch a a commercial first. Your app is the worst of all
Why? Just why
Was
I can’t believe you guys changed this app. The old one was excellent. This one sucks! It’s just like all the others now.
App update
I detest this app update. I do not like notification numbers showing up. After clearing notifications and setting up preferences; I still have a red number 1 appearing. If this continues I will be deleting the app.
Should be no stars!!
The old version was much better. The new one stinks!!!!
