KCBD app
Very disappointing. Seldom works.
kcbd news
great app but the notification number on the home screen doesn’t go away when all stories have been read
Update is horrible
This new update is dreadful. It gives alerts then comes up blank. Then, the notification icon won’t go away.
TTU Raider fan
The share option is not working
Outstanding app
Outstanding Performance. Able to keep up with the news, and local news coverage. I’m always looking forward to hearing about what is going on in the community.
Too many Ads
KCBD news app has always been my favorite. Very reliable. But recently they have added ads that just pop up and often times have sound to them. Kinda embarrassing when you are out in public!
New App
Bring the old app back. Going to uninstall app. I do NOT like the new app.
App update
After you updated the app, the notification on the icon will not go off. I have deleted the app and reinstalled it several times and it is still there. There are no unread articles either.
Bad modeling bad forecasting
Stop forecasting rain 10 days out. It’s clear that you don’t know anything so just make it a 3 day forecast
Wayward Notifications
In app notifications give you the option to not receive sports notifications, but app sends you sports information anyway. Also, constantly send health and safety alerts worded to be click bait, not actually helpful information. Wish they would respect my family and me enough to just give the information, like ACTUAL journalists.
Requested in-app tracking
The new app seems to be okay, except for two things: 1) At the start of first use, it asked me to enable in-app tracking, and wouldn’t allow the setup to continue until I enabled it. “Allow Apps to Request to Track” is disabled by default in iOS, and the KCBD app doesn’t show up in the list of apps that have requested to track, so I don’t know if I really enabled tracking, and; 2) After tapping on an article, the new app presents an ad, then allows you to continue on to the story (just like the Texas Storm Chasers app - is this from the same app provider?), but unlike the TSC app, a new ad appears every time the screen refreshes, even while in the same article. Pretty annoying, really.
Annoying
In settings, I selected the alerts or notifications that I wanted. I don’t want sports Notifications. Not interested and I don’t consider it Important news information. But I still get the alert. It’s really annoying. Plus I don’t need an alert telling me to go to the app for the latest digital news. That’s not news.
Bigger phone - smaller print
Bought the biggest phone and Kcbd is too small to read. Even on iPad it is too small with no way to change. No dynamics. I’ll look somewhere else

App is awful
Disappointed, once again.
My old KCBD app worked fine, but I received a reminder to update the app many months ago. Since that time, when there is a news or weather alert on the new app, it fails to load. Simply too much click bait, and just to find local news, you have to open and scroll to local news. Toss the app and go back to a easier way of providing local area news, weather and sports and not , NBC or MSB. Thank you
KCBD news
App doesn’t pull up or takes forever to load. If not fixed will delete
If it’s not broke don’t fix it!
I hate your new app! I’m tired of seeing ads for lawyers that I’ll never use and I really hate the fact that I can no longer forward these news articles I get to people that I love. There used to be an icon that I clicked to forward these news alerts… Don’t know why but I can’t find them anywhere now 😔
Chaplain
This new app is the worst you have ever created. The one before this was ten times better and easier to use. It was also more professional looking and easier to use. Please go back to the old one. Chaplain Joe Earnest
Terrible app
Piss poor. Nothing but ads
New app format
I dislike the new format immensely. It takes a longer time to load. It is irritating to have to have a sit there while waiting and waiting for the news to load so I can get out of ad display.
