What people like
- Great local weather forecasts
- Helps you know local news
- Good for local news updates
What they complain about
- App crashes or won't open
- Latest update made it worse
- Too many ads and popups
- Kills music when app loads
GREAT Updates!!
I have had the app for many years now as a local resident. The latest update fixed many navigational issues and improved the application speed.
deleted
I have now deleted this app as now all you can do is watch videos, which I hate. none of the stories now have the printed information below the video player. Most of the news now comes from Southeast Missouri, and on the weekends it doesn't get updated for several days. I guess nothing interesting happens between Friday at noon and Monday morning.
Need help
Can’t find live broadcast.
Lack of follow-up on news stories
Almost without fail, kait news broadcasts incidents and stores with a tag line “ for more information go onto the kait news app” What a joke, seldom if ever anything is ever added and several times original story is deleted. Subject line searches are inept
Make more user friendly
Please make it easier to access the most recent newscast. I use a firestick and the user has to scroll way past a bunch of other options to even get to it. You cannot see the option for it on the home screen until you get to the options and hold the right arrow to get past like 10 other options.

Horrendous App
Where do you turn off videos
Keeps crashing
I rely on this app to keep me up to date on breaking news and dangers in my community. In the last week I haven’t been able to open one story without it immediately crashing or giving me a blank screen.
Ok app for news
The app is good for local news. My main complaint is that the app kills off any music apps when it loads. Should not stop audio until I play a video or live stream
Love the app
I love having this app. It helps me know what’s going on around me. I rely on getting a lot of my news from this app
Terrible update
This latest update is awful. Slow, tons of ads, buggy, awful UI.
Stories
I guit using the app for a while. Very liberal. I would like both sides of a story. Weather is the only reason to use Kait
Frozen On Loading Screen
I downloaded the app earlier this month and have had a good experience up until recently. The most recent update has made the app freeze on the loading screen and stop working completely.
Terrible
Latest update might as well have bricked the app. Slow to load, constant pop-ups, broken links, broken features. This is awful.
Update Failure
Since updated app on phone yesterday I’ve been unable to open the app. Fix it!!!
Update
Latest update, app will not launch… 😢
Update
There are things in the recent update to the news app that need to be modified or changed. Specifically the live news feed videos that are attached or imbedded in some of the news story links are distracting and make it difficult to focus on and read the story content.
Alert
Shows I have one alert and can not find it
Alerts
It always shows an alert! It will not go away!!!!!
Latest update
The latest update is awful. Navigating is slow to react. App locks up. I can’t find the news topic that I just got an alert on. Please fix. Deleted app for now.
Change for the worse
The old version was ok . This is terrible imho. Makes you watch a commercials.
Review app
New app is terrible put back the old one.
