This app is frustrating me
I attempted to renew my subscription and it said it was successful, but the app never updated so that I could access the info. It has charged me 3 times and I never got a reply to my two emails to support for the app

App doesn’t load
I’ve been using this app for years. Recently when I open the app, it goes to a blank white screen after about 3-4 seconds. I’ve updated the app, updated my phone, un/reinstalled the app… still happening. I already filled out the support form and am waiting to hear back.
Great help!
This is the best option for confirmation in decisions about prescribing mediations to pregnant or nursing mothers. I use it frequently!
App no longer works
Was great until about a month ago when the app stopped working. I just get the buffering screen. I loved it prior to.
One of my most-used work apps!
Until recently, I used this app daily. Now, it won’t load! Is it being ended? I checked my payment details, deleted and reinstalled it… it’s not working. I’m hoping it’s a glitch that will resolve soon!

I really enjoyed this app and it helped me be more effective at work. Unfortunately, now it’s constantly buffering at work and at home even after reloading the app so now cannot recommend.

I have also been able to access the application due to buffering- this only occurred after the update. Please get us working again!

I have been using it for years and the program is great. I had issues, but I contacted them and they were able to help me but now it won’t let me update my other review. I do appreciate you guys help I wish I could delete that one.
Bad App
This app is useless. All I get when I search for a drug is a blank screen. I know my drugs. I just want an app to look up the risks and this is not the app to do that.
Lactation Consultant
This is an awesome app for anyone working with breastfeeding babies, I was so excited when it came out 2 years ago.I paid full price (29.99) for it at the time. It is much easier to use than carrying around the book. On the downside, this app has not been updated since it came out. 2 years is a long time in the medication world. I paid a lot more for this app than the cost is now. The new mommy meds apps has better fetters , i.e bar code scanning, than the professional one does. Hoping for an update in the near future .
Stopped working 4/2025
I’ve been using this app since NP school. In the last couple of weeks, it has stopped working. The app will no longer load! I hope it gets to working again soon. It’s very helpful for my practice.
Continued Buffering
I have been using this app for well over 6 years and recommend it to my staff. With the recent update I have not been able to get it to work. When opening the app — it just keeps buffering. Ive deleted and redownloaded the app, but nothing. I’ve had to resort back to looking up each med in the Hale’s book or calling Infant Risk for support. If this could be fixed it would be 5 stars. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Use it every day
My go to ap for reference in clinic and the hospital for pregnant and postpartum patients. I also love LactMed but the ease of this ap in my phone is key!
Can’t log in
Once I logged out I was logged out forever. The app will not recognize me nor allow me to recover or reset my password. Bet it renews my subscription in a year…
Doesn't work well anymore
Was a great app when I first purchased, but now sad that I spent $9.99, as the app won't bring up anything but an error when I search a medication.
Wonderful app but unable to renew subscription
My subscription has ended and the “update subscription“ page is frozen, so I am unable to renew. I have deleted the app and tried again but the problem persists.
Perfection
What a wonder to be able keep the information in “Medications and Mothers’ Milk” in my pocket! Thanks so much for this app- as a busy LC, I need to have this information on my person. I recommend it to all of our pedis and OBs.

Excellent resource tool
This is a great resource to have at your fingertips when you need to know if certain medications are compatible with breastfeeding or pregnancy. A must have for professionals.
Waste of $$, MommyMeds is cheaper and the same info
Why did I pay $9.99 for this app when it is identical to the $3.99 MommyMeds app? Literally identical. I knew this app was less than the full Hales, but the description made it look more comprehensive than MommyMeds. I want my money back.
Milk supply affected??
It would be great to know if mother's milk supply could be affected by certain drugs that are considered safe as that is a concern for many; it could change medication plan.

Subscription service????
I bought this app several years ago for almost $50 (and that was at a discounted rate), and now it's telling me it's a subscription service???????? I created an account, and now it's allowing me to search. Does this mean my account will be charged $9.99 per year now???

The update is a scam. Report to apple.
Having the same issue as the other review. Asks you to renew even though this is not a subscription based service. We are supposed to have access to the "un updated material". I will be reporting to apple as well.

Not working
Ever since the upgrade it's asking me to renew a 9.99 annual subscription when it previously was 9.99 once. On top of that it won't even let me renew it and it keeps coming up "sorry but it appears the App Store is down, try again". I probably have tried to at least 10 times over the last three days. Frustrated I can't use the resource!!!!
