It’s so good when it works. It’s an amazing thing! But every time I am in Sweden half of my time goes to get my Swedish phone, BankID, bank account access possible for the first week. Now, again like all other summers, I can’t get my BankID to work on my Swedish phone. My phone needs to be upgraded and the BankID app as well. But even after the phone upgrade I can’t upgrade the BankID. ????

Hur gör man för att aktivera sitt bank id när man byter mobil eller innan?
Aktivera Digital ID Card med Körkort
Det är en bra möjlighet till oss som har körkort. Det är bara att lägga in det. Varför inte? Ge denna möjlighet till oss. Det är smidigt i så fall om man glömmer sin id kort. (Jag har inte än National id kort eller svenskt pass) Med detta möjlighet gör ni appen bättre för oss. Tack på förhand.

Edit april 2025 ID card still does not work.. Edit Sept 10: 2024 Senaste uppdateringen ger fortfarande nätverksfel för ID. Samma sak under inställningar för ID. Det fungerar alltså fortfarande inte. Är det tänkt att fungera i framtiden eller la ni ner funktionen? Id-kort får nätverksfel. Även under inställningar. Verkar som om tjänsten är nere och har varit det under några dar denna vecka. Har fungerat att få fram innan. Bank-id fungerar förhållandevis bra som vanligt.🍻 Edit: iOS 17.4.1(hade felaktigt ”14.x.x” innan) Får fortfarande nätverksfel iOS 17.5.1
Hög kvalitativ säkerhets app
Ett av de få säkerhetssystemen som aldrig hackats! Lätt och smidigt att använda. Extremt hög tillgänglighet. Tack för en utmärkt produkt! Hoppas det blir lika bra nu när European Digital Identitet skall komma på plats.

1. Another step towards total surveillance and control by banks. If you use this your bank knows if, when and what you buy. They know, if you communicate with your doctor or your insurance. #1984 2. There is no service from the developer. They can't be contacted. They refer to the respective bank of the user, where the competence level is even lower. 3. Since there is no service, it is not possible to point out errors to the developer. And there are many errors. These developers rest on their quasi monopoly. They neither have any connection to the users nor any respect for them. 3.1 Impossible to set up on iPad. Nonsensical reference to NFC, while the description states that the app can be used on tablets and that NFC is not necessary. 3.2 Recently, you can only set up the BankID of one person on one phone. If you perform tasks for several people at the same time, you now need one phone per person. Another example for IT-people who lost touch to reality… And their official reason is security, that is, limiting fraudsters… Ha, ha, since we don’t know since 2006-2008, where to find the most/worst criminals and incompetence…
Inloggning med 2 olika koder?
När kommer det att vara möjligt att logga in med de olika koder från 2 olika personer. Rätt så begränsad när man kan bara logga in med en kod. Det hade underlättat mycket, istället för att logga in på olika surfplattor osv

Varför är id-kort i appen när man inte kan använda det någonstans?
Problem
Går inte att scanna QR kod, skärmen är helt svart. Alla andra appar med kamera funkar normalt, inga speciella permissions för BankID. Enda sättet att lösa det på är att starta om mobilen. Värdelöst att det enda sättet att skicka bugrapporter/incidenter är här. Detta problem borde ni kunna se själva i loggar i så fall men med tanke på att det här har varit problem i över en månad antar jag att ni inte sett det än.

How can this be in use?
Enkelt men vissa brister
Smidig app för att logga in på sin internetbank, i synnerhet i mobilen. En uppenbar sak som saknas i nuläget är integration med TouchID i nyare iPhonemodeller som alternativ till den personliga koden. Detta skulle göra appen både smidigare och säkrare. En annan sak som skulle vara användbar är möjligheten att koppla till mer än ett bankkonto per enhet. Jag har själv två svenska bankkonton för att ha en backup ifall den ena banken råkar ut för ett IT-haveri. Det skulle därför vara vettigt om man kunde använda båda bankernas appar med BankID på samma telefon utan att behöva radera ett BankID för att kunna mata in ett annat.
iOS kompatibilitet
Lägsta kompatibla iOS är iOS 16. Nordea ID och andra har åtminstone till iOS 15. Detta är en viktig app som behöver vara kompatibel så långt det går. Det är även viktigt för miljön.

Buggy and useless
If you have an older bank app with Bankid incorporated, in my case the Norwegian DNB app, this app won’t install. You have to delete the DNB app and reset the Ipad before you can install this new one. And it doesn’t work! If your bank wants you to install this app, you have a good reason to switch banks.
Convenient but not perfect
For some reason I have to start the app manually when about to log on to my net bank Skandiabanken.se — I would have expected a push notification that brought up the application, stating what service I am about to sign in at.

Sign with Face ID button jumps around all willy nilly
Used to work fine but recently the “Sign with Face ID” button jumps up half the screen as if to make room for a keyboard… that doesn’t exist. Plz fix thx

Men helt sanslöst att ni uppdaterar skiten och inte säger något!!! Nu jag inte ladda ner skit appen med mitt gamla Apple ID och använda den samt att jag inte kommer in till Nordea, CSN eller någon annanstans. Sämst jävla skit! Usch
Frustrated
When previously getting a new iPhone the ability to activate with a valid Swedish passport existed. Not anymore. Permanently residing in the USA I’m now cut off from accessing my Swedbank bank account. Solution? Swedbank tells me I need to travel to Sweden and go to a bank branch to get a new BankID. This is insane, not to mention costly, extremely frustrating, and arrogant. I can’t be alone in this situation. Surely BankID/Swedbank could offer an option that maintains the security such as the previous passport validation.

(kollar varje morgon) Drabbades av Handelsbankens hemliga 7dgrs spärr tom ti 3.3. vid uppdatering från iPhone7 iOS15. Ni stängde av må 2.3. 12-tiden, dagen innan deklaration skickades till digital brevlåda, ska in snart. Finskt pass/svenskt körkort/dator fyller inte Bankid krav/utlandet tom midsommar. My phone is iPhone x and I downloaded the app and it’s says please wait and nothing happened
Only works with a limited number of banks.
On a train in Sweden, only Swish is accepted. Swish requires BankID. That’s fine if you have a Swedish bank account. If you don’t, then no snacks for you.

No Face ID !!!!!!! Why block it?????
If FaceID is detected, iOS will automatically replace Touch ID with Face ID. However, engineer in bank id decided to override Apple’s detection with their own, which is not future proof. Saidly now we have to type password.
No FaceID
Used to be a convenient way to use biometric id instead of a password. Now, it’s just an inconvenience to have to launch a second app only to STILL have to enter a password. Two stars until they support FaceID.

Difficult to manage
I live abroad and have to use BankID to manage payments and banking in my home country. If the phone is restored from a backup or I get a new phone I must get a text from my bank to activate BankID. But unfortunately many banks can’t send texts to foreign phone numbers. There should be a better solution. Also, this app still doesn’t support FaceID which is lame.
