Best alarm app I’ve used
I’ve always been a heavy sleeper, plus I’m partially deaf in my left ear so hearing an alarm the first time was pretty much not happening. I used to have so many alarms set, and I’m not talking about 3-4, I’m talking 20-25 on 2 phones. This app is by far the best alarm I’ve ever come across. As corny and fake this may sound to some people, this app has saved my job more times than I can count. Thank you to whoever thought of and created this! I would like to ask about one thing though. Could we get a “rain and thunder/stormy night” sleep sound added, please?
Can not get this app to delete
Tried deleting the app but the alarm continues to go off every morning. The app does not show in my app list but still going off every morning. How do I totally get rid of this app?
Ads on side ways front screen
Love it will auto dim but the ads are so bright 😞
Not working
Alarm doesn’t go off every time.
Clock app review
The way your clock works announce time w/ music is great. I was the alarm would come on as set & not have to worry about if my phone is on or facing up etc.
adding events wow this is cool.
yeah how do I add an event to be announced?
Doesn’t work
Alarms don’t go off.
It’s not letting me have access to my calendar anymore. Help!
No! Not this happening. No I can’t get my appointments anymore. It’s not asking me if I’d like to have access to the calendar appointment I have, making it frustrating. Help!
Doesn’t work
Had high hopes. First time I set alarm: Followed instructions for music as a Sound. Would not recognuze/access downloaded music I bought from iTunes on my iPhone. Turning off & on didn’t fix it. Had alarm set for 6:45. 6:45 came and went and it never went off. Checked volume settings. They were fine. Very disappointing.
Periodic time doesn’t speak over podcast app
I want an app that will speak the time every 5 minutes while I’m listening to a long podcast and working in my garden. It should work the way it does when I get a phone call — automatically pause the podcast briefly (to state the time) and automatically resume the podcast after (as it would if I declined the phone call). I get lost in gardening and forget to check the time. Plus with gloves on that cover my wrists, I can’t easily look at a watch. “Periodic time” option here seemed ideal but it only works when the app is in the foreground AND it being in the foreground stops the playback of the podcast. From hints in the FAQ I suspect this is because of iOS rules, so it’s not the developer’s fault, though. One more thing: sending feedback from the app is disabled saying I don’t have email on my phone. I use the Gmail app. Is that also a problem caused by iOS? I would have loved to contact the developer, who seems super helpful and engaged per reviews.
Flashlight
Getting to know this app & so far it is real easy and nice.
j u n k
I loved it initially until regardless of what I tried the app would freeze and crash. Seemed perfect but ONLY IF it actually works. Zer0 reliability. Stay away-JUNK
I like the app
The app is great and I enjoy the trivia yet I wish I could set the alarm to play music first to ease me into waking up then after the music the announcement with the date, time, weather and trivia is announced.
Review
Too many steps just to set a simple daily alarm. Sometimes it doesn’t go off either.
Alarm clock
Nice little app
Been a long time fan
I used the Critter Cam for quite awhile, but now I like the large red numbers. Easy to see from my iPhone cradle.
What happened???
This was an AMAZING AWESOME app now it’s telling me I need to give permission for music and when I try to do so there’s nothing to approve. No where to give permission to do anything. I also lost my background picture and tried to readd it but it doesn’t let me it says 100% downloaded but the pop up box was there for almost an hour and I finally hit cancel and it was the same stock picture
Thank you
I recently (within the last week) rated this app a 1. Although I don’t see my rating I did say I’d give it a higher rating if they can tell me how to set it up. Well little did I know that it had to be in a vertical position in order for the settings to appear ( it’s on my iPad not my phone). Thanks to the developer I’ve been able to use the app for the first time since downloading it about 6 months ago. I set the alarm for my grandson (who sleeps very heavy). All other alarm clocks he’s sleep right through them BUT the “Talking Alarm” actually worked and woke him up. And he loves it. I shared it with my daughter in law to use at home also. Thank you!
Confused
I can’t seem to ba able to put this in Spanish. Am I missing something or is the app only on English? :( Please help me resolve this question
Alarms
The talking alarm helps me hear the alarm go off.
Personal Data scamming
No you don’t need to access my calendar or location to work, stop trying to force your way in to steal personal data. You only need access to your own speaking audio files to tell me what time it is when my alarm goes off. Telling me the time is the only alarm sound necessary.
Great design
Clock is beautiful. At night, if I wake the time is easy to read. Love the choice of alarms. Also enjoy the explanations. Fun to use as well. I love this alarm.
Worst Clock in the App Store
Don’t purchase this app…it has never worked as advertised….for past 6 months they have promised fixes in the numerous updates but features rarely work…
Exactly what I needed
What more can be said? It’s exactly what I needed
I can’t get it to work 🙄
I like what this clock has to offer, but it just doesn’t work!!!! Is there a tutorial page in YouTube?
Ok
When using the recording, the alarm does not seem to engage if clock is not open
Needlessly complicated, alarm unreliable
Is it cool? Yess. Is it practical and useful? No. I could not get it to reliably trigger no matter what i did. It’s far too easy to accidentally set the alarm to sleep mode or deactivate the alarm before it triggers.
Dependable
This clock app is dependable and intuitive….. Highly Recommended!!!
Cannot depend on alarm to sound
Three times this week I have overslept my alarm by 30 minutes. I look at my phone and I see it says “alarm sounding” BUT THERE IS NO SOUND. I tried replicating the problem while awake but I cannot. And it does not happen every night. This problem just started happening within the last week and I’ve used this alarm for a few months. And developer does not offer any way to interact with them for support. I now have to search for another alarm - AGAIN, before I find myself missing flights.
Great alarm
I really like this alarm. It’s not as loud or jarring as most alarms
A bit disappointing
Really good app with lots of features but a shame that it will only work if you leave the app running. If u lock ur iPhone then the alarm will NOT go off!
The best.
Keeps getting better..
Missed my test using this app
I used it once and missed my test!! I tested it again to see why it didnt wake me and its because it doesnt work if your phone is locked. My phone would be overheating if i left it on overnight like what
Awesome but needs more options
This is a pretty great app, I wish I could choose what’s spoken when single and double tapped though. I need it to speak the day and date when asked, as well as the time(weather would be nice too), and that only seems to happen after you fully close the app.
Best Alarm Clock App!
I’ve tried a number of different Alarm Clock Apps. The TalkingAlarm App offers a stable App with well thought out Alarm functions, with many presentation options including a sleep-to-music Timer function. The App designer continues to support this App; adding new features that keep this App interesting and a Top-Choice among Alarm Clock Apps.
Alarm no longer works
The alarm stopped working properly after I updated it about 6 months ago. The text announcements won’t work and stay on an endless loop cycle of saying the same thing at the first 3 seconds of the announcement. It also made my phone overheat to the point I had a warning activate in the middle of the night.
Brilliant
Really good only thing I would change is that we can use Spotify for the alarm sound if that’s possible. Great app and has helped me not be late
talking alarm
hi one of your many users who uses this app still love it by the way Apple has this new standby mode and it’s ok still not better then this app i do have a suggestion on improving it if you could make options for clock colors and style of the clock like maybe Roman numerals that would be cool thanks again love the app 😎🎈🥳
ADS
Seems that all the good apps comes with ADS & then charge you to get rid of em. Such a disgusting way to intercept a FREE downloaded app. Catch 22.
Needs to work if in silent mode!
My phone is never off silent. I just have vibrate. A bit annoying it doesn’t work if on mute. Apart from that great app.
