This app is well designed, gives you options for how to read and enjoy the paper, and has worked flawlessly the two-plus years I e used it.
I’m no longer able to login
The Gazette updated their site so that logging in was required, and now it won’t accept my username e-address.

App works fairly well. The national news review at the end automatically is zoomed in too large compared to the first part of the edition, why??
Newspaper
I used to be able to tap on an article and I would see the whole article by itself enlarged. I cannot do that anymore, the article just comes in a bit closer not very convenient!

Nobody in their right mind has a subscription with ads unless it’s forced.
First Choice
Been a subscriber for 44 years. Wasn’t sure about the online version, am so glad I switched. The paper is never late (OK, less than 5 times in 7 years), can read it anywhere in the world, can share an article easily, same great quality of reporting…I’m in…forever. Doug McBride

Gazette app
We started using the digital edition due to so many problems with the delivery of our newspaper. We couldn’t believe there is no dependable deliver anymore. The app is fine, but sometimes I have problems swiping pages. Other times I try to make pages larger, I’m sure there were instructions somewhere, and it doesn’t work or changes pages on me. I’m using an iPad, so that might make a difference. I’ll continue to get the digital editions, because I believe in getting information from a trusted source. However, I’m in my 70s and long for the old days when when I had a paper to look at. Yes, I still read real books too.

The Gazette
I winter in Southern California, but start nearly everyday reading the Gazette on the App. Though I still miss the feel of a printed version, I’m glad to be able to read the news daily. I wish Mike Hlas’ column was in it, I very much appreciated his wit.

I enjoy the digital edition. It always comes. And the news isn’t curated for me. I don read the sports stories, but I like scanning the headlines.

Reading the electronic version of the Gazette is absolutely the best! So convenient and easy to get local news and updates. Planning for upcoming activities is a breeze. Cost is affordable and less than a printed version.

Love the local newspaper and the digital presentation. Hoping the new owners keep up the great local effort. Sad to see our sport man Mike Hlas go with the new ownership. He truly knew Iowa U and Eastern Iowa sports.

For the most part it is easier to read the green gazette than the printed copy. The printing quality has gone down hill since switching to DSM. Creases in pages, cyan and magenta streaks/blobs over stories- roller marks- Would be nice if puzzles were interactive- the printed copies on Sunday and We’d are good for now. Thank you
