What people like
- Lots of different solitaire games
- Cheap price to remove ads
- Runs smoothly on older phones
What they complain about
- Ads interrupt you constantly
- Updates ruin the old look
- Game crashes on new devices
Cards jumping
Downloaded onto new iPad - current iOS and cards jerking and jumping when I move them. Fine on other iPads and phone. Why?? I did opt to revert to old decor with plain background as I dislike all busy graphics.
Bad design!
New format is Terrible!
Good
Recommended, tons of achievements & fun to play
Don’t change things just to change them.
First, thank you for making so many games available and free. But, the new backgrounds are jarring and the card faces have a ground glass anomaly as well as pallor, making them harder to read. Just sayin’.
Solitaire
I loved the old version of this game the new version is so difficult to see the cards. I do not like the backgrounds. I liked the plain black background with very bright cards the new cards are dull or muted which makes them hard to read. Please go back to old look. I have played this app for about 10 years.
Great play. No ads. Lots of features
There are many options of solitaire games to play. The app runs smoothly. I’ve been using this app for several years. Cleanest one I have found.
Disappointed
The visuals are challenging. No matter how you play Yukon you loose. Ridiculous. Will play this less and less.
Ads freezing
When I get an add with 30 seconds to play, it will not start. I have to close it and restart, but I get the same result, the clock will not start.
アップデートいらん。
アップデート後、音量を0に設定してもしばらくするといつの間にか勝手に中くらいの音量に戻るようになってしまって、広告がでかい音で流れます！なんでですか？ 外出中とかに出来ないよ！

Awesome
Keeps me entertained for hours, especially when I’m delayed on flights
Horrible update
I woke up and my go to “time passer” is ruined. Whenever I try to play a game (and win) it says that hand has already been won today and the glitches out. I tried using the “send feedback” option but that just causes the app to crash. I’ve been using this app for well over 6 years now and each update makes it a little worse. This one just tanked the entire app! If you guys fix the app, then I’ll fix my rating. Update: it’s been two months... no change.
Love the app
The only complaint is the latest version makes a very rhythmic clicking noise when I play despite having sound effect turned off. It goes away with the volume buttons on the phone or with the volume slider for music. I never use music when I play, I’m a bit confused, but it’s still the best Canfield game going.
Nice Game
Was a 5 star until an ad blocked access to new game function Now loud, unstoppable ads - boo
Recent Update
Have no idea what’s going on with this app, but since all the updates, it freezes and card movements are jerky. I hate all the ads. Liked it much better before all the changes.
Solitaire Star
** updates 10/5/22- thank you for reading my comments and making quick changes. I have changed back to the original background. I do not need to have my game look like cash app solitaire! This is great! We love this game- many options and did the update today and wish I hadn’t. It looks like a cartoon! It’s awful. My mom, who plays many word game just told me last week she has been looking for a solitaire game and I showed her this one- I am nervous she will be disappointed when the update happens for her as well… change it back! Why are all updates so juvenile??
Ruined it
I am the IT director for my company, so I know a bit about software. This WAS a great game, but each update ruins it more & more. A year or so ago they completely changed the user interface, totally altering the entire experience for anyone who had been enjoying the game for years! I loved the original interface and cherished the memories of playing the game with my son who passed away from cancer. A more recent update totally screwed up the sound! The volume of the game is now controlled by the RINGER volume and NOT by the normal phone sound volume!! (iPhones have 2 separate volume controls, one for the ringer and a second volume control for everything else, like music, videos, GAMES, etc.) Now if I want to play the game silently, I have to mute or turn down my ringer. But then I forget to turn my ringer back on so that I miss calls or texts. Stupid! I still play this game in memory of my son, but I am continually disappointed in how the developers keep degrading the game.
Getting worse
Update 10/3/22 We’ll the developer listened and backgrounds can now be changed Update 8/16/22 I accidentally hit the upgrade button that I have been avoiding for several years. Wish hadn’t but can’t go back now. Sure would like to change the background color. That black/gray is awful Update 10/17/19⭐️⭐️⭐️ 2.0.7 is a big step in the right direction. I still won't install on my newer iPad. Update 10/10/19⭐️⭐️ Version 2.0.6 is working with iOS 10.3.3. Have played a few games Klondike draw 1. It works but card movement is too choppy. I can't address others complaints about ads because I only play offline. Think I'll keep the old version on my new iPad. Update 10/2/19 Version 2.0.3 still crashing as it did on 9/30/19 with iOS 10.3.3 Updating 9/30/19 So decided to try the latest update on my older ipad with iOS 10.3.3. As soon as I touch the screen when I open the app, it crashes. I was able to delete the last version and restore older version on newer iPad with 12.4.1. Definitely won't put new version on it. Come on, developers- get your act together. I used to love to play the games on this app - no more. I would like to go back to the old version. Will be deleting Couple years ago ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
New colorless background and irritating redeal are just that irritating
Yep
Solitaire
Not liking the new versions!
Nice Update
This is a well made card game and you can remove ads for $3.99 as so worth it. THANKS to the developer for a nice update!!
Hate the Update
I’ve been a fan of this game for YEARS!!! But I feel lost with the changes... why did you try to improve on perfection.
Forty Theives
I've been playing for years however lately the game will reset and I have to start over with a new set of cards.
One huge drawback
I greatly enjoy the new interface. I was even considering buying the full version. But there’s one huge issue for me that I can’t get past. When an ad plays (between almost every game) it almost always has audio. I have all sound disabled in the game, because I want silence. Even if the phone is in vibrate mode (no sound) the ad still puts out audio. I hesitate paying for the game, which I acknowledge will remove the ads, when the company ignores my personal settings. And the contact link in the game doesn’t work, so I can’t tell them directly.
Not great
I’m really not liking the update. Plus I don’t like that my scores are lost when the update happened
Eh
Too many advertisements!! It was better before!
Klondike draw one
The new format is terrible. Please change it back. Am going to delete this app Jim T
Nan's
Love LaBelle Lucy!
It was great
It was a great app and I played daily, but after this update, I can't. Granted that I have an iPad 4, but prior updates were no problem. Not everyone can afford to buy the new hardware.
Great games
Love the games
Forty Thieves.
But hard to win!
The latest version.
I used to enjoy Solitaire Star for few years and use this app several times a day. But unfortunately the last version completely screwed up this fine program. The changes are useless and annoying; the publicities are way too much and invading; the sounds are disturbing ; and it often freezes in the middle of a game, then it doesn’t give any chance but starting another game. Very bad changes!
Enjoyable
Have not updated to iOS 8 but enjoy all the different games. Not to any freezes but ads too close to new game buttons.
New Format
The went from crap to crappier with the new format. On top of being more concerned with ads, whenever the re-deal button is hit it kicks you off the app, that is if you can get the button to activate
Great game - dumb theme
Lose the misogynistic theme!
Love it
I’ve had this game for many years! I love solitaire and the many versions this game has to offer. I also love the revamp they’ve given it! Feels very sharp and clean! Def worth buying premium!
Change not for the better
Playing this game for 7 years or so and the changes they just made are horrible, at least for the players. Bad ergonomics and a horrible rash of 10-15 second commercials that could be just as effective in 2. They also hide the icon to exit, so when the bloody thing is over you have to tap over and over to get back to the game....if you can find it. I think I am close to done after over 20k total games over those years. It’s giving me a headache.
Great game!
I love this game! It's hard to find Easthaven easy anywhere, so this is a fabulous find. My only recommended change would be to provide some different levels of difficulty.
Robped
Was great until I downloaded Os 8, now I'm stuck in one game in three card solitaire. Freezes up on new game and music icons. Can't play not impressed!!!!
Language Bug
App runs smoothly and well, but when the device's language is set to something other than English, the titles of game types on the menu appear as a random series of numbers and letters. Unsure if this is with every language or just Danish/Dansk. Would love to see this fixed as it makes it very difficult to use the app.
Not like it used to be!
App is very fast but the ads are more annoying than ever.
Ads are obnoxious
Ads are very obnoxious and in your face in the updated version. Will not continue to play!
Great game
Great game. Prefect for the quick game fix. The graphics are pleasing to the eyes and the game play flows quite nicely.
Not so great
Free app is Ad-sponsored. No indication of "No more moves available"
Cards are too small
Ditto, cards are way too small and no way to change them. Game not very appealing anymore
need hint icon sometimes, please. love this game
Hint Icon please......
Review
Old version was more fun and easier to use
Great
Play with it all the time
Was great but now won't load
Was enjoying this as huge variety of games, but now won't load on my iPad, only my iPhone, any clues?
Only one problem
I love this app but for some reason it keeps sending me to the App Store to buy other games. I'm not hitting the ads at the bottom. Often it happens when I'm not even touching the screen. It's at the point where playing is no longer relaxing but frustrating. Tried to complain on the company's website but got a 404 error when I followed the link.
