WE ARE SO BACK!!
Genuinely one of the few mobile games from my childhood still on the App Store. 1000/10. Best $3 I’ve ever spent.
Update ruined the game
This new update absolutely destroyed a classic game. You retain much less momentum between islands, making it nearly impossible to get great slides on the first hill after a jump. They also forced the backflip mechanic to activate in every great slide, messing with momentum even more. And the game still stutters! Just fix the frame drop issues and restore the legacy gameplay! Awful update. Won’t play again after playing for a decade.
Great and then not
Why is Apple charging monthly $7 USD to upload and play Tiny Wings+ I’ve purchased Tiny Wings over 15 years ago and recently again. It definately is fun but this time for some reason challenges stopped coming. I’m not entirely sure but I’d think there were more levels than this. I’ve been stuck on a level that 10 super jumps need to be made on island one which I’ve been trying for months more. Usually the game will expire and a new level will be available. Note it has stopped and also on the other challenges where you can earn stars on each island in the number of levels. I haven’t earned anywhere near all of the birds. But purchased enough To see there’s really no difference between them. Very little. They all seem to come truth the same abilities another bird has and there’s no upgrading the power to it. So choosing a bird for a skill really isn’t worth much. IDK for such little diversity the game is monotonous throughout. Especially a paid game of $3 USD AND TOP have in app purchases as well then to add insult to injury the plus game by Apple wants a high amount MONTHLY to play competitions. It’s disappointing all of these speed bumps definitely ruin the will to want to play. I understand the developers abandoned the game but apparently someone is still in charge of it to be collect money as of today. Why not have Apple make improvements that help complete challenges with birds of different abilities that have a clear difference?? Disappointed but still trying. But how long until people really just get sick of it?
Update is laggy
I don’t mind updates but the game now has major framerate issues even on my two-generations-old iPhone. I also don’t like the new entering fever mode sound effect but that’s more of a subjective opinion. The game is amazing otherwise, but it’s just not playable when it randomly drops to 10 frames per second for a few seconds. If this is fixed the next time I play the game then I’ll update my review accordingly.

Frame rate issues!
I’ve been playing this game forever but it’s an unplayable mess on iOS 26. It suffers from constant frame rate drops and stuttering on the latest Pro phone. The recent app updates haven’t resolved this or even mitigated it yet.
Endlessly fun
Still have fun playing after all this time. Unfortunately lags on an iPhone 17 Pro after the last update.
Capitalism strikes again
This was without a doubt one of my favorite games ever. I got all the nests, even the extremely difficult challenges, and enjoyed trying to get gold in all of flight school. Upon booting up the game again, it has become mobile game slop. I'm deeply, deeply saddened by this. The game was never free to play (and I assume it still isn't), so adding so much junk to what is supposed to be a simplistic cozy game has crushed my heart.
Not as remembered
What a fun game. It’s worth your time. Paying for it is just worth it for the price. That being said, the advent of reducing frame skips (iPhone 16 pro) and potentially adding promotion (120hz) would send this over the edge twice over one star each. As of now it just sticks out to me as something that could be better for 2026

INSUFFERABLY GLITCHY ON IOS 26
i used to love this game. i've been playing it off and on for a good ten years. the new update was awesome until i updated my phone to ios 26. i've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. i've tried making sure it's the only app open when i play. restarting my iphone, everything. now it is so insufferably glitchy that the fun has been completely sucked out of it.
Pretty much the best app
So I’m terrible at tiny wings but not on races. I get in 1st place like 92.5% of the time. That 7.5% is always last place.

Great game minus audio issues
I absolutely live this game. Great aesthetic and smooth gameplay. The music and sounds are adorable and super nostalgic for me having redownloaded this recently after about a decade. My only qualm is that the audio is totally bugged out and doesnt work for me. Ive redownloaded and still cant get the music or sounds to play out of my phone speakers. Sound plays with headphones but no music, which was honestly why I downloaded it again after all this time. Please fix this?

Ein unrunder Klassiker
Vor ein paar Wochen habe ich mich zurückerinnert, wie ich Tiny Wings noch auf dem iPod Touch der 4ten Generation gespielt habe und die Nostalgie hat mich gepackt. Nun spiele ich die letzten Wochen fast täglich 3-4 Runden und bin in einem Punkt echt enttäuscht. Viele positive Änderungen hat das Spiel über die Jahre erlebt, die mir alle willkommen sind, vor allem die vielen neuen neben Kiwi. Allerdings gibt es hier wirklich massive Performance Probleme, sobald man einen neuen Run startet und das auf meinem iPhone 16. Neben stuttering, wird das Spiel unregelmäßig langsamer und schneller, was es immens erschwert, die Flugbahn zu kontrollieren. Eventuell macht iOS 26 hier Probleme oder Tiny Wings wurde generell nicht weiter für neuere iPhones optimiert. Super schade, da ich Tiny Wings jedem nur ans Herz legen kann.

The new update broke a lot of things, this game has been my go to boredom killer since buying it on the iPod touch but now I can’t get into it, the chill music is gone too. Thank you for the game over the years though.
Dreamlike masterpiece
I’ve been playing Tiny Wings since I was around 5 years old, and I’m 20 now. It’s been with me through so much, especially during high school. The game has so much to offer: beautiful map designs with colors and patterns that look like they came straight from a children’s book, music that creates a nostalgic atmosphere, and some pretty chill birds. These birds may have tiny wings, but they have big dreams.
Points for Slides & Cloud Touches Fail to Register.
Points shown at the bottom of the screen for completing a great slide or cloud touch are not being added to the points total during “Today” mode on a Day Trip.
Great Game - Update Spoiled It :(
Absolutely loved this game for 10 years now, but with this new update I have noticed the physics are ever so slightly different - making it feel heavier and much clunkier . Also the interface seems different, I cant quite put my finger on whats changed but it definitely makes the game feel wrong. I do love this game though so hope to see some tweaks to restore the original feel to the game !

Wirklich tolles Update aber verstehe nicht ganz den Sinn dahinter wenn 90% aller täglichen Aufgaben daraus bestehen NICHT mit den essenziellen Spielmechaniken zu interagieren um diese abzuschließen. Das macht das ganze extrem langweilig im großen und ganzen. Schade!
This game is so fun I love it
I used to play this game on my moms phone when I was a kid and redownloaded it to play it again. It’s as fun as I remember :).
Miserably terrible progression system ruins gameplay outright.
I have been stuck trying to clear island 4 in fever mode for probably six months for a singular insignificant achievement that will allow me to finally be able to complete different achievements again...There is no route around, or through this crippling design flaw. This has completely ruined my experience of the game and any sense of progression that I was getting with previous achievements. It’s an enormous problem, when the alternative to this game is Dune, which is free and has no issues like this. I can’t reasonably recommend this game to anyone knowing that after a few hours of gameplay, their game is likely to completely lock up due to a miserably terrible progression system.

“Dublicate Eggs” are a problem and cost me all my points
I have collected ALL the eggs except the very last Night Bird. The eggs are expensive at that level - 6,000 points. I can’t get that last egg, as it keeps giving me “dublicates” (this is the game’s spelling for duplicates). I have spent more than 100,000 points trying to get that last egg, only for the game to make me repay for eggs I already have. Fix the “dublicate” issue!

Briefly entertaining
Bit like angry birds, in that the game is programmed to let you win flight school when it’s ready to. The other birds do times you can’t keep up with, but if you play long enough they slow up and let you win. Main level is repetitive and boring. 2 stars as probably got 79p worth but nakedly not a fair game, you can copy the AI birds but they go faster and further than you until you’ve played a level about 50 times. Usual mobile phone game: lack of depth and obviously formulaic.

maybe i’m wrong, but i’ve been playing this game for YEARS with some breaks… and i think after the most recent update, the game mode ‘flight school’ got way easier. it is no longer a challenge to complete an island, and to even get 3 stars on a bird. it takes me maybe an hour to fully max out a bird. it used to be harder, because i played not to long before the update and it was more of a challenge to progress in the game, which is what i loved most about it. it actually took skill and practice to beat levels. still love this game because of the nostalgia, but i'm disappointed.
Super Fun!
Love this game. I like to play just to chill & tune out sometimes. When I visit family, all the little kids give me hugs & talk to me a lot because I let them take turns playing TINY WINGS in 5 minute intervals. Great ice breaker as I don’t see them too often. I play the free version - And there are no pop up ads! Thank you!

This game is so calming, it calms me and my family down and we had quite a good experience. The reason this review is a 4 star instead of 5 is because of the pay wall. I bought it separately because i do not have the money to have apple arcade
