We’re sad to not have the real paper anymore, but the app is super user friendly and easy to read
Junky
App just quit working. Gives me a login screen that looks like a grade school coder designed it but won’t let me in when I enter my UN and PW. I can get in using a browser but the app has suddenly become useless.
Sentinel Online is a good value
My friend, Gordon, has these questions when catching up socially: What are the highlights, and what are the "lowlights?" For me, the highlights are the community calendar and the reporting. I can find places to go for good food, hiking, biking, music. The local news reporting is good information on what it covers. Now for the lowlights: AP news stories are predictably slanted Left, no pretense of standard reporting. The columnists are nearly all Washington-Post Lefty. I pay a lot of money to be told how bad the Right is. But I renewed!

Enjoying reading the paper
Read the paper online everything is great no issues.
Banner ads
Why are there banner ads? First, I already pay for this subscription and the printed ads in the paper are enough. I shouldn’t have to see banner ads as well. Secondly, the banner ads cover up the headlines of each article as I read it. I’ve brought it to the Sentinel’s attention but so far nothing has changed.

Issue
Can’t read all the adds or special business articles , you can’t make the font bigger on some. Sometimes it is a little touchy, I touch an article to read and all of a sudden the whole page appears.

The local news is well covered.
This paper helps me know what the City government is doing. Lets the citizens express what their thinking is on local and national issues. Gives good coverage about local events. The sports coverage is through. The weekly comments about foods offered in various local restaurants is wonderful.

I have appreciated The Daily Sentinel’s drive to remain a viable news organization on the Western Slope. Well done Daily Sentinel! Having lived here, matured professionally, owned a business and retired I have read the paper nearly daily. I haven’t always agreed but I have paused and considered alternatives. I have appreciated the levelheaded nature of the reporting and editorials! Thank you!

It is very good most of the time. Sometimes the articles are partially bleared and will not change making it impossible too read the contents. BW
