Great app
Keep improving it. Impressive especially for the price
Would not recommend
I just needed a simple app to use for group texting at our church. I am constantly having to rebuild my groups and now, my groups of disappeared completely. There doesn’t seem to be any real customer support.
Could be more user-friendly
The app is not as intuitive as the app that this one replaces. Take some getting used to. Hopefully it will improve with time.
Difficult
Just tried this again after not using for a while. Difficult/not at all simple to use. Would like this to work for me but not helping. I am older and just want to tap something and it works. Very burdensome
App gone lacking
This app does not allow you to send videos so often I am frustrated in being unable to forward articles I have found. there have been too many changes and are too many restrictions on this app since it was originally started I am disappointed
Review
Excellent App!!
Great when it works
Only it almost never works. Every time I start up, I’ve lost all my groups and have to start over. Then I try to get support and I never hear from anyone. All in all it’s a great idea just poorly executed.
Good messaging app
All I love the functionality of this app, and I have recommended it to many many people. I have had some issues when they turned it into a subscription model after I had already paid for enhanced features. I end up losing my access to some of the features I had previously paid for and they also seemed to have some trouble keeping the app updated with the iOS updates. Much of those technical difficulties have been resolved now so my only remaining challenge would be the features that I lost when they changed their business model. So I don’t feel like my previous purchase has been fully honored otherwise this would be a five star review.
Constantly crashes
Messages are frequently very slow to send, often displaying a message after each send that the message was not sent and then on my Messenger app it appears they actually sent. Frequently tells me that I have canceled a batch and would I like to cancel the rest. Sometimes it just shuts itself down in the middle of sending. Using an updated iPhone 15 Pro Plus. I’m using the latest versions of the app and I’m a paid subscriber. This happened on the free version as well. VERY rarely will it send all messages without any of these things happening.
Love the capabilities, but inconsistent
I love the capabilities of this app, but it is so buggy that it is very frustrating to use oftentimes. It has the ability to text message groups with a merge text, that is rare in an app. But I constantly have people that it doesn’t sync into my groups and then I constantly have problems with getting the app to just do its basic functions. So this is a great app in many ways, but it has a lot of bugs.
Great
Been using groups app for years!
Advice for the developers
when I’m trying to send a group mass text, if the text is much larger than just one screen, you can’t get access to the send button at the bottom of the page…. fix that and i can give you more stars.
Missing The Older Interface
Groups is a useful app, although the last version was simpler and more user friendly.
Difficult
Very difficult to Navigate . Old version was far better.
Bất tiện!
App dù mua full chức năng, nhưng bất tiện ở chỗ không thể xoá hàng loạt 1 lần nhiều contact cùng lúc! Nên bổ sung chức năng này!
Totally a must have!
Being a part of several groups and clubs has made my contact list so burdensome. Finding a name, especially when I didn’t know the person well, took a lot of scrolling. Groups takes the burden away, and gives me nice, defined lists. I couldn’t imagine not having this wonderful app now.
Manager
Not working that is the reason why I stopped using it
Good and Helpful
The App has been improved over time. Very useful and great for sending out individual messages to various size groups with the ability to personalize messages.
Used to like it
I had cancelled in the past because I no longer needed the app. I resubscribed, and what happened! It doesn’t work half the time. It randomly drops contacts out of the texts, and sometimes won’t even function.
Good
Good app To CR we te group and delete
Great App
I have found this app to be an easy to use and effective way to manage groups.
Very dissatisfied
Do not like the way it works. I like my old way of coming into the group and pulling my contacts. I would like to have this reverse back to the old way. I have it please remove this. Do not like it at all very confusing.
Great for teams
Easy to use. I have been using it for years. Easy to set up new parent rosters, and love the batch feature. It makes it very easy for me to send out messages to a 60+ parent group via smaller batches of texts without having to remember everyone on the roster. There have been a few glitches where my lists have disappeared and contacts lost.
Mass Text
I already subscribe to this app, but every time I go to send a mass text it keeps asking me to subscribe and every time I go to support and write a email to ask them why it’s doing this you never get Any type of response from support I have emailed them probably 15 times and never get a return email.
Good
I would like to send as a group but deliver it individually so others can’t see the rest of the group.
Multiple contacts
Excellent for contacting everybody with one Text
Weird Numbers
Does anyone else have an issue with it pulling the numbers in from your iPhone contacts weird? I used this app for years to contact several people at once and it was very convenient. Once iOS 18 came out I believe, anytime I’ve tried to send a message ever since then it pulls the phone numbers over in a weird format. I’ve still never found anything that worked as well as this did when it functioned correctly, so I still come back every now and then to see if there’s been an update that fixed it.
Groups
Have pleased with the Groups App. This works well for my needs
Loved it until version 9.5
Once I installed version 9.5, it became stuck in an endless loop of wanting to get access to my contacts which I had already given it. After informing me that it couldn’t reach my contact list, the app would close, giving me no other option. The previous version, 9.3, worked very well. The only complaint I had was for business listings without a contact name but that’s a long story. I’ll be glad to update this review once I can get some support on this issue.
Excellent
Excellent
Groups helps!
Helpful to group my contacts to find related contacts and keep them organized. Easy app and works well the native iOS.
No good anymore
Ever since I retried this app it doesn’t work anymore. My groups and contacts are still there but the contacts have no numbers anymore. Even when I create it all over again it l ave’s the numbers out. Which defeats the purpose
Works well once you get the hang of it
I use this app for mass texts to my friends. I like that I can easily personalize each text with their name (“Hi Carol,”) and review/ modify each text before sending. The app is a bit wonky at first to get used to but it does the job well.
Update
I pay for the app and since update can’t send mass text, as ever mail the company and no reply and no chance of a refund. It’s broken at the moment so don’t buy!
Keeping a long list
This app had helped me to hang into lots of contacts but asks me frequently to upgrade or buy built in features. I appreciate the extra storage and organizing it offers.
Life on line.
While we spend more and more time on line and need to organize our web experience or we just waste time, Google Group is a convenient place to list all groups you are a part of. With each group receiving it’s own email address, it is easy to post messages and pick&choose which ones you want to follow and how often to get emails. Do you know how many groups you have?
App Just Crashes
The developers have not been responsive to issues with the latest revision. The app refuses to recognize when you give access to your contacts. I had used this app for years and did the update a couple of months ago and now the app just continually requests access to contacts. I wish i could go back and use the previous version and not update app because it was working before. Please fix this. I used this app often and have had to go to something else.
Great app
I have been using "Groups" for some time to organize my contacts. I would say it is not perfect, but it is the best app for contacts that I have found and I would be quite lost without it!
Bad update
I regret doing an update. I always liked the fact that this app had an old simple phone book look to it. This update took away that away and made it complicated to use. Please bring it back.

A few Bugs but Good
It’s a really good app with a few bugs.
SUCKS!
It doesn’t let you delete your contacts. Apple makes it very hard to do so, necessitating a third party app. This one starts upselling immediately after downloading
Great App
It’s a great app, however, there are a few minor things I wish they would fix. 1) If I make a change in my contacts, Groups doesn’t always pick that change up. I am forced to delete the app and reinstall it for it to pick up all my contacts. 2) If I delete a contact in my contacts, Groups still shows that deleted contact. 3) Groups might show 22 contacts but only let me select 21 when I send a email. 4) Groups doesn’t allow me to remove a contact from the list, it makes me delete the contact from my iPhone. 5) Groups support needs support. I rarely get a response after contacting support.
Text numbers
This app will not let me pick the phone number I what send the message to. Very frustrating.
Groups
It is a functional app however not as useful as previous versions. I find the updated version more difficult to navigate.
Easy to use for texting to groups
This app allows for texting messages to large groups. It is easy to use and provides many options when communicating with friends and groups.
Won’t let me create new group
Since the update I haven’t been able to create a new group. It won’t let fo anything at this point !! So disappointed!! Before the update the app was great. This has become a hassle I got alert 207 now it doesn’t even respond . Please advise Ty
Good App
It’s good, but not great. It’s slightly user unfriendly.
New IOS
The newest IOS 14.2 screwed up this app. PLEASE FIX. ASAP THNX
Could be better
Unable to send mass text and have them text back solely to the sender. Also I had to purchase twice, it would not recognized my previous purchase after switching phones. This app can do so much better.
